For me, I've found my temporary relief in Ekta's upcoming show at the same time,that shuld keep me entertained for next 3 months,till she messes up.😆

thought i should mention that i've just started watching the latest offering from EK too...have always loved the ML and by the look of things ETR2 is set to wrap up in a couple of months...if not then then two females vying for the attention of a man who has the priviledged job to rule a province and instead is doing everything but won't hold my attention for long...shame...just thinking what it could've been and what it has become of late!

There was a Thai show i watched awhile back, that had a similar plot, they kept the period feel through out and it was a different viewing experience. Yep,they stuck to the story about a loan shark's daughter marrying a debt ridden royal & their love story.

I'm waiting for EK's candyfloss romance starring Karna Kundra to start.

yes, it's the missed opportunities of this show that sadden & annoy me.

I still can't get over they wrapped up the freedom struggle angle like that.

All it needed was two lines frm the leads to integrate what they saw with the main story & make it more momentous.
You know, like "I couldn't do anything for Bansi,but you always have your Inder Bhaiya & Rani Bhabhi.Our doors are open for all of you' something like that.

they were in such a hurry to show a shooting star in the bg of a burning pyre!

You've listed the grouses pretty neatly Sim! I hope, for a change, the Chee channel makes note of the discrepancies in the story and try to work on the narrative! There is only so much disbelief I am willing to suspend!

@bold...absolutely for IK 😳 and same as u for the FL...(for reasons which has nothing to do with the infamous MMS).

is Ranaji a king anymore?when was the last time we saw him dispense any of his royal duties towards his subjects?

for someone who broke down into tears on being reminded of what and whom he has neglected for the past 6 years in the durgah...he seemed to get over the plight of Mala and her fellow freedom fighters in a jiffy and carry on romancing with a funeral pyre ablaze in the backdrop. huh?? 😳 shoddy direction,editing and narration.

who doesn't love a good romance,especially when the leads are not only talented actors but make a stunning onscreen couple...but the romance being shown looks forced,rushed and so out of context...its as if the past few weeks never existed in the show!

The period feel went out of the show sometime back...along with the intent to come up with qualitative drama that is in sync with the original premise...!

They start tracks that wind up in two-three days, the freedom fighters track being a case in point!

Why would you do that? How do you expect to capture an audience or rake in TRPs when you can't tell a story properly and convincingly?

Not even bigamy or other crappy TRP friendly tracks will help the show if the writers do not display an intent to tell a story effectively!

The only promise I see Che channel keeping is the one they made to polygamy supporters/investors. 😆

@bold- so true. the intention has changed, it's as if they don't care anymore.

They went to some trouble to show the revolutionists, hiring a known face for cameo & outdoors and ended the track with the most bizarre romantic moment .All it needed was 2 sentences from the leads to integrate that with the story & those times.

But i do want to thank the Cvs for showing me some RaGa moments before I bid adieu.They are not withholding romance in the hope,people will stick around for it and are using it to bait viewers.
