@simran I would have preferred it a little short. Not that I don't love the romance, but then it was just a bit long.

is Ranaji a king anymore?when was the last time we saw him dispense any of his royal duties towards his subjects?

for someone who broke down into tears on being reminded of what and whom he has neglected for the past 6 years in the durgah...he seemed to get over the plight of Mala and her fellow freedom fighters in a jiffy and carry on romancing with a funeral pyre ablaze in the backdrop. huh?? 😳 shoddy direction, editing and narration.

who doesn't love a good romance, especially when the leads are not only talented actors but make a stunning onscreen couple...but the romance being shown looks forced, rushed and so out of context...its as if the past few weeks never existed in the show!

Look who was online 😃

With you and simran on IK and FL of that show

Simran..I like the idea of calling it chee channel
They totally deserves it..

It's sad to see that they have lost the plot in 3 months flat..and as much as the trps are to be blamed, its partially the CVs fault too...they haven't been able to capitalise on their strengths..
Spend too much time establishing RNJs love for ex wife and not getting leads in one frame..
And whennit was time for relevant tracks..they were closed too fast without sensible resolution..the freedom fighter track was one such example..it was ceingeworthy to see sawariyaan playing and pyre in background..some sensitivity please

It started as story of a widower king and a commoner who became his queen and now the story will probably be reduced to triangle with two wives vying for the same man..the impact of it being set in period era and the leads being royalty wiped off for the sake of cheap drama

They have talented actors..not just the leads but supporting actors actors...the right setting and countless ways they could have told an epic tale..all will probably come to naught because they couldn't get their act straight

Shruthi, it went with the way they've been using songs to convey many things w.o dialogues.

The More saiya song's picturisation conveyed where RNJ stood on their relationship, it could even be from RGD's pov.

I think, they needed the whole song & the length to show the change in their relationship, since dargah.

They apparently claimed they had enough story to carry they show a years time..
But I guess they erred by not setting the story up faster in initial phase where the leads barely shared screen..and then the relatively low trps are causing them to alter the story

Well said, the plot is lost and so is the show. Its no more what they had promised us. Its just a poor everyday story from any random TV show

Another IK fan? I like him too, just not the FL.

I'm waiting for EK's candyfloss romance starring Karna Kundra to start.

yes, it's the missed opportunities of this show that sadden & annoy me.

I still can't get over they wrapped up the freedom struggle angle like that.

All it needed was two lines frm the leads to integrate what they saw with the main story & make it more momentous.
You know, like "I couldn't do anything for Bansi, but you always have your Inder Bhaiya & Rani Bhabhi. Our doors are open for all of you' something like that.

they were in such a hurry to show a shooting star in the bg of a burning pyre!

@SoreThumb- i actually have no issues with the way they've progressed the story so far. They got the leads married even before 50 episodes and the early epis were needed to establish RNJ's love for his dead wife which is the real hurdle for FL.

Agree with you on the Sawariyan in the backdrop of pyre, most macabre sight i had seen on desi-soap.
RaGA acted like they attended a wedding reception rather a funeral!Highly insensitive & disrespectful, as the person burning was a freedom fighter.

Tehy've lots going for them here.i hope they stop panicking & messing with the story.

Srubs & ST-
On IK on Ek's new show- it has the Fl's previous show, kya hua tera vad written all over it.
I would rather watch Ek's youth shows tahn her mature love stories.I watched Bade ahce & was annoyed to see 40 year olds acting as 4 year olds after a while.

We are a bunch of IK fans at home. Mys is can't stop gushing over his voice & Mom thinks, he is handsome as Dharmendra😆😆

Sim! The dreaded return of the first wife. Of course it was going to happen. This is a desi soap. There is no lack of creative ideas to move the story forward but the writers have to bring the dead wife back to create it interesting. Why? Is that the only way to sell a story!

I am going to quit if that happens. I cannot stand bigamy and I am not watching no matter who the leads are..Sorry! no offense to any actors fandom but the story is the king that draws me to watch and of course the leads but if the story is going to the toilet its time to flush it out...

and we were right that she is going to return...😆..I am not even a seasoned desi soap viewer and I knew that was coming...😆
