I would say the most inspirational aspect of ETR2 came in yesterday's episode when Gayatri says stars were her worst enemies from childhood. When RNJ asks why, she says her mother used to tell in stars individual fate was there. And she wanted to change her fate. RNJ asks did she. Gayatri looks on and not only to RNJ it is evident to the viewer also that she has indeed changed her fate.
From a woman destined to marry a man who is older than her father, she is now Rani of Ameerkot. Yes Gayatri took the chance of writing the letter. She didn't know whether she will be accepted by RNJ, but she took the last option available to her, not willing to succumb to her so called destiny.
And rest is history. Yes she has a long way to go before she gets RNJ's love in true form or she becomes the queen of Ameerkot in real sense. But she has taken a journey worth taking , than languishing in the kitchen of that old man.
Gayatri dared to dream and she tried to make her dreams come true. And the fate did bow down before her faith.
Many times when faced with challenges we also tell this is our fate. We cant do anything to change our fate. Is it true. The first question we need to ask ourselves is have we tried. Have we looked at all open doors. Or when one door closed we sat dejected and accepted the fate. Every challenge is an oppourtunity. And to people like Gayatri they take it heads on with faith rather than blaming everything on fate. They try, doesn't matter whether they win or lose. But most people blame the stars and sit doing nothing about it.
So where do we want to belong. Allowing the stars to take charge of us or Making us take charge of the stars. You have the power to create your destiny. Use it. Because if you try with faith the supreme power will also be with you.
