Hello All,

I just laughed through the entire episode 😆 I think people on the train yesterday thought I probably lost the plot. I must say Zee TV is very good in uploading their videos to the website on time.

Now coming to the episode the kitchen politics has started. Gayatri is going to get trapped by Kunwar chacha and chachi. Pretty much everyone is against her in the royal house. Lets see what happens.

Sush I knew you won't post a sushpective today. Sometimes that ji irks me and sometimes it doesn't 😆 let me explain my stance. When she uses it casually its okay but she emphasizes it a lot like yesterday on the dining table it annoys me. The problem I have with the CV's that they are not consistent with Gayatri's behaviour. Apparently there is a jungle sequence coming up that shows her wearing a hot black saree. Now which FL from the 1940's wears that?

I am up for the R&R ladies. I badly need some sleep. My toddler has become a night owl since she has come back from the US and keeps us awake for 2-3 hours a night for no apparent reason!!! 🥱

My two penny bits:

I hate the 'ji' and DD sounded so unconvincing , saying it😆. i was thinking, why can't they use her payal sound or something to make him all agog. 😆. Ah well, me and my desperate mungerilal measures to give some life to RAGA
Well, new diet plan for the Royal family. i was shocked to find one of the highest trp serials have two episodes on making roties, slowly, one roti gets burnt, then the FL tries another , then her Sisters in laws make rotis in another room, to help her...it went on and on. I was quite shocked, and watched two episodes in morbid fascination😆. So what I'm saying is, yesterday, I was hoping that this jeere ka tadka and all push up trps at least😆😆. It was hilarious...
Sid K is trying to maintain a balance, without veering from one mood to another in a schizoid manner. But the writing is terrible, one dialogue, who are the British to tell me whom to marry, and next this girl is costing you this much. Thankfully, Gayatri did not smile coyly for the first line😆!!
I totally agree about DD. Am always nervous to mention it. So let me add a rider saying I really like her a lot. Why me, my mom also likes her a lot. But she is a director's actress, or her acting depends completely on the writing. She can be superlative or she can be totally casual. And I feel like shaking her, when she is not serious. The girl is much more capable than she knows, is what I feel. or she is just plain casual.

here's hoping for better episodes. Zee is quite brutal about low trps.

Morbid fascination for roti making?😆 i wish they can do some Epic channel stuff explaining royal recipes instead of ,as someone said Master chef. I'll watch.

The dining table outburst and the garden pledge is as RM says it...it was between a husband and wife..😉...hum logon ke samajh mein nahi aayega.

They are both reasonable people. Gayatri has faith in Ranaji and Ranaji is probably willing to give her a chance to prove herself. Or this is his way of keeping a low profile to see what she actually does until diwali. Guess he cannot help finding some things about her charming..esp the way she handles his chacha clan and the money. Aww..that smile was too sweet. 😳

I found Gayatri much better in this episode...They had her toned down.

RNJ - will be better if he continues in this avatar. He is not the angry young man. But I do love it when he vents out once in a while. 😉

Never watched the show(s). So don't have much of a clue. Actually I think DD is a perfect fit for the part because she has this classic look about her, which goes well with the period. My problem is she is overtly animated at times. I know a lot of people find it cute but, for me, it is a turn off. This is what I meant when I said over the top. She came across as way too animated in that opening scene with Swarna. Nothing had really happened for her to prance about like a filly! And again in the kitchen! The cooks would respond even if she widened her eyes by a inch or two less! The problem here was not in the writing as much in the delivery! She needs a director who can control her! She can do wonderfully well if she is better directed!

Got her point about being chosen by God. Liked that line in fact where she says the Raja of Amerkot is helpless in front of the King of the heavens. Maybe it was the assumed hauteur that rankled. But the 100 other sahukars was kind of funny. It could have been better phrased! The dialogues are normally very, very good!

Like Rana ji in this mode. No problem with that! It is just that it seemed like a jump after the dining table and then the shooting scene! The rhythm is off. They need to work more on sequencing!

I kind of thought that was a bit of a jump too. The ranting against British hegemony and then, turning on Gayathri. But I guess it makes sense. At one level, he is furious that the British have dared to interfere in his personal affairs. At another level, he tells Gayathri in no uncertain terms that for all her cost cutting measures and jeere ka tadka, she has brought a far greater challenge into his life.

It is a bit like the father/ mother fighting with the neighbor for daring to reprimand their child over a broken window. Then coming back home and delivering a spank or two to said child!

So, its like the British don't have any business saying what they are but that does not mean that you are not adding to the problems in my life! Makes sense?

Siddhant K is trying to keep the balance. That benign smile of approval, although not revealed to her, was his way of telling us that Rana ji, despite the occasional outburst, is not an unjust man or King! He gives credit where it is due! The problem starts only when she wants to get cozy! The innate goodness he sees makes him temporarily forget about his own accusations of manipulation etc till she makes the next faux pas!

Are you guys talking about S...N...S...the highest TRP grossing show this week? 😆

If that is the show, all I can say is I have no clue how people watch such regressive stuff but then again I never did before either. Nothing on desi tv is worth watching. I should just stick to watching football even though my team is in bottom of the league and might get relegated this year...and we won the premier league last year...what a load of bull tatti!!! 😆
