I really like the characterization of Gayatri in this story Bertie. She is more regal, more mature, more contained than the one in the show. Perhaps not totally like the show Gayatri, even assuming a future character-graph. But definitely more interesting. Well done 👏.
Ranaji now. Well, there are very few male leads in Indian shows who are interesting. Ranaji isn't one of them. So you had a tough starting point. But Bertie - you managed to switch things around. The Rana here has potential!! He is bitter, angry, venomous, yet attracted to the object of his spite. Wildly attracted. And smart enough to know how to act on it to his advantage. Very nicely done 👏.I have hopes. You re-titled this series to be "vignettes". So, can we expect future installments?

Thank you for writing this piece. This is the kind of stuff people like me want to see on the show. You have a way with words. Continue writing this piece if possible.
Every update is beautifully written ..
Aware of the fact that gayatri can't hate him still he want her to hate ..so that he could do what he want to .. She seems to make it difficult for him ..He can't fall in love yet again ..but she made her own way to his mind ..And past was interesting when rana was unburdened colg student ..Very nice ..

I loved the way you incorporated John Keats' Ode to the Nightingale. You took the simple image of tears and have explored it in all the different ways possible till now in these vignettes. Short, sweet, and at times bitter with subtlety.

Beautiful Bertie.👏
for some reason I'm connecting this to "I know why the caged bird sings"
Tear drop makes an appearance again. His this time and a very poignant way to knit it all together.👍🏼
I can't wait to read your take after Monday's breakdown.
