Finally am able to catch up on the show. Yet to complete weeks worth of story. So will not be able to comment on story as what ever I watched till date is just the prologue.

On your question - I have another one which period is this show shown? Am assuming its pre independence period. In that case how come Ranaji is wearing TURTLE NECK sweater😛😆?

Male lead is Sidhant Karnik .. he is well established and good actor .. he was seen in early shows like Mahii ve , Pyaar ki ek kahaani , Gustakh dil and many more .. yes he is good ... DD too is looking beautiful and fresh ..

Show is set in 1945 but Ranaji is shown retruning back from England after fighting thr second world war .. he studied in England too .. so now I m not sure if he got the sweater from England and whether that design was available in England those times 😆

Homo track was shocking but no surprised because it did existed back then and long before Mahabharat too but ignored because ppl used to get disgusted and hided it as shown in this show but in true sense they are more pure than us they are considered as lord shiva in true sense .
Cvs are gutsy I tell u to cover this on prime time as u said I have seen maryada show and it was well handled hope here to does the same .
Hope Laksharaj wife swarnarekha bond well with gayathri as u said never thought about it till u said it .

Yesss its courageous of CVs to take up this sensitive issue given the era and that too at 9.30 slot .. Maryada was a 11pm show .. so that way CVs hv taken a real bold step which needs to b applauded .. hope they handle it well ...

Swarnalekha looks positive and a bit sad due to her loveless life .. so she might bond with Gayatri later as they gonna hv loveless marriage ..

Dream was classy both raga were true king queen of TV Drashti Sid chemistry was in a different level I agree to u cash them well cv more scenes required to get Jodi right .

Somewhere I feel creative are least bothered and want to show it a novel type slow and steady that's good each week new member and things are introduced from this show .

Yess they dont seem to b in a hurry right now and taking their time to develop the characters .. we need to give them a months time at least ... Sid-DD looked magical together in the first scene 😳

Ranaji is not obsessed with his first wife but yes he is a loyal husband and truly a gentleman and those who love truly don't let go dead ones so easily he can move on get married but the love so strong that only love can break it .
Gayathri will have to be strong to slowly mold him to fall in love once again .
Before that she needs to go his way win the ppl heart then ranaji 's .

I felt a bit of obsession too is there the way he screamed at his mother or the way he kept her room locked and visits it all alone .. mayb its due to certain guilt too that he could not save her ... mayb it will b explored further post RaGa marriage ... Gayatri will for sure change him ...


Dream symbolism-
Scarf is flying towards ranaji meaning gayathri heart .
Ranaji shown tricking her and she wondering meaning it will be testing time for her but then ranaji will drag her towards him meaning finally she gets what she desired for that journey will be a passionate one .

yess in the end Ranaji will take him in his arms and she will hv a blissful life after the initial struggle 😳

Felt as if I am watching some beautiful English country side drama so beautiful directed .

even camerawork is beautiful 👏

One more scene was different was the chachaji , govindji scene were they showed how royal ppl treated the commoner .
So for me it was bit slow smooth episode today I feel this show has so much to offer .
Hope next week we get sensible track not some Ekta show drama .
Bhabhis are irritating me as u said yesterday ( till gayathri marriage they will be around I suppose )

Yeah Royals were still living in that old era before British rule when common people used to bow down in front of kings .. but with british rule things actually changed and even common people used to become wealthy .. no wonder Royals r insecure ...
