Taking up homosexuality as a side track was a bold and to be appreciated step of the CVs. I hope they portray it sensitively till the end
And the dream was sooo dreamy ... our dreamgirl is getting better and bolder with her dreams 😆.. I m starting to wait for her dreams than the actual scenes :P

Evn I hated when her mom pointed out that being a girl was her mistake... but that was the bitter truth of those days

Ranaji was shown obsessed wid his wife s memories.
I hope they don't turn Swarnalekha s character negative by making her fall in love wid Ranaji or something like that 😕

I would love to see her n gayathri s bond

I never thought of Swarnalekha and Ranaji angle .. but well its quite possible since she is unhappy in her own marriage 😲 .. though she does look like a positive character but u never know ... hope Ranaji has some cousin brother whom she can fall for later and leave Ranaji for Gayatri 😆...

Me too aaj kal wait for her dreams than actual scenes 😆😳 . but I m sure soon these dream wale scenes gonna come real once their marriage happens .. 😳

And yes hopefully CVs will take this homosexuality track forward in a matured way and not mess it up

Nice review Jyo..
dream sequence was awesome.. Drashti looks fresh and young..

CVs are now exploring a new track though it is sensitive...it shows homosexuality was present in that era also.. though not spoken openly..
and his father knowingly ignoring it..
these side tracks are essential for moving the story further..

and we know..Ranaji"s obsession for his first wife will vanish in due course of time😳😳

No comments for Bhabhis..quite boring ..

Hey Jyo...We pretty much covered everything on FB 😆 So I really don' think kuch hain kehne ko... Gay part of it we covered completely on FB, and I think we had some really interesting discussions there 😊 Bottom line kudos for picking a theme, a subject that is prevalent in the country but still sensitive and taboo to even talk about and bringing it on screen. Extra points for not making mockery out of it and actually showing some creative respect to the topic of homosexuality. Like you said the last time I saw one brilliantly done was in Maryada - Director Waseem Sabir made sure that viewers don't cringe their faces when the Gay-Subject came up and actaully paid attention and watch it play out. I hope here too the subject is chosen not for the sake of being different and thinking out of the box but the treatment of the track moving forward and the various aspects that will come into play will be sensibly done with subtle creativity.

The opening scene honestly
I have lost count of how many times I saw that beautiful Gayatri dream. The sequence lasts only 1 min 30 sec. but the impact it leaves sticks to you long after you have finished watching the episode. Simply too beautiful and very fairytale like for even words to describe . Since it was Gayatri's dream, majority of the scenes consisted of DD and she was looking drop-dead gorgeous; but the bits of Sid used since Ranaji was the other person in her dream was absolute CLASSIC. His eyes were the main focus and the last bit showed his face even not with glaring clarity but even so the after-effect was too good that I am still in that trance.

The camera angles, and video effects pan-zoom when she is running through the palace, when she is searching for him etc were perfect. That shot when she runs into the palace and towards him while he simply teases her and walks further away...the area of focus is a statue with RaGa in the BG...Absolute brilliance!!! The lighting's especially the once used on Sid to not actually show Ranaji but point blank give out the idea its him was WOW. We have been saying this a lot on FB but ETR2 and the treatment of it so far effortlessly makes you feel like you are watching so classic or reading a classic novel and this scene too was like a page ripped of from some classic novel... Totally Dreamy!!!

And OMG DD's interpretation of Gayatri is bringing out a different layer of the actress she is altogether. When she is fangirling it's not easy to say at this point whether she is just hero-worshiping the guy or has fallen head over heels in love with him. Sure she is falling in love but the way she plays it keeps it makes it hard to point fingers. And when Gayatri dreams O, Boy the woman has great dreaming skills, her dreams are romantic and very progressive and she is very progressive in them too and not like some 2015 ki ladki 😉

My question remains...we have had 4 RaGa scenes so far where they are in one frame...Out of which two were dream/imagination and two real and I am amazed at the level of chemistry DD and Sid have managed to bring on screen. There is a definite spark there and I have to say though I was skeptical about the casting initially like months back when the first promo aired and then everything went dead-silent, I couldn't imagine a better pairing for Ranaji and Gayatri. Sid and DD have an amazing chemistry. Didn't expect it to very this exceptionally beautiful and crackling.

Amazing take as always Jyo 🤗

so u feel swarnalekha knows that he is gay ?
do her parents know too ?
chacha knows but cannot do anything
yes i too feel swarnalekha and gayatri will bond well
not only the girl but the guy is also suffering
as even for pretense sake he has to be with his wife
i applaud them for showing this and not joking about them
i hope they handle these tracks well and with care
i loved gayatri dream also want it to be true
it was an early morning dream so it would be true
i loved that he reacted to his mother violently
mothers tend to force some decision upon children
in the long run some of them have terrible consequences
parents should never force career options or marriage to children
rana believes in the policy of kuch kuch hota hai
hum ek baar jite hain ek baar marte hain shaadi bhi ekbar karte hain aur pyar bhi ek hi baar hota hai
we cannot blame him for this at all
when he loved he loved with all his heart soul mind
so when she went away he lost himself totally
may be u r talking about punar vivah season 1 ?
where the lead could not forget his 1st wife but did remarriage ?
i think it takes a lot of time to move on from true love
6 years is not that long for rana ji my be ?
not only chacha the entire family is obsesses with royalty
they treat commoners like dirt and feel they are superior
i support chacha if he wants to break rana marriage with the princess
oh yes i support bhabhis too when they want gayatri to go to rajmahal
both chacha and the bhabhis will be instrumental for raga marriage
i also feel damayanti could have been a bit softer to gayatri
being a girl is really not a crime at all

I didn't expect the gay angle either. That too in the 40's era. Bravo! Good they are addressing the taboo 👏 But a poor girl suffering as a result. This track is actually interesting and want to see how it's going to progress.

Gayatri❤️ I just love her. She looked like a princess in the dream Gosh! Her books are helping big time. She should dream, dream and dream until it becomes reality 😆 She is so romantic & passionate. You go, Girl! Much better than those boring bahus who act all coy.

Ah! Can't wait for Monday. Abhi toh party shuru hui hai!

Actually in those times there used to b lot more cases of homosexuality but things used to b washed off under the carpet just to keep their fake prestige intact .. same is the case here .. it will b interesting to see how they handle this sensitive subject ..

I will love to see how post marriage Gayatri makes her own place in Ranaji's heart .. I m sure she will not try to take Sulakshana's place but will make her own separate place in her heart 😳
