Clear popular faces also do not guarantee a hit show. Zee TV India's recent show "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani," starring Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick, is not doing well in terms of TRPs.

Last week the daily soap received 2.2 ratings, and this weekend ETRETR received about 1.7 TRPs. The show was very delayed because of production issues and Dhami's wedding. When the show finally went on air, the production value left everyone speechless: The performances were amazing, but the show lacked a power-packed story.

Critics were harsh on the show, but, since Dhami's name was attached to it, people were bound to get together to watch her, especially her fans. However, a few months into the show, we can surely say that it is a yawn fest and nothing more.

After the numbers of "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" went below 2, we hear the channel has become cautious. A source close to the show informs us that the makers have been given one month's notice to pull up their act and make it work. However, if the numbers don't go up, the channel will pull the plug.

So does that mean Dhami and Karnick's show will go off the air? "It is a possibility if the numbers don't go up, but nothing is fixed as of now," replied the source.

Frankly, it won't be an entirely sad situation if the show goes off the air " maybe something better can replace it. What do you think?

ETRETR is not only reduced the number ..this week while trp table turned ..still it is in top ten list ..anyways ..this thing is definitely affecting to the story as we can see the rushed and half baked scenes

Considering the production value I dont think the artical is baseless.

When you have a value of corers involved in the show.

Normally a show starts of with 50 lac-1Cr maximum.

But looking at the show I can easily its its production value is Way more than this something around 10-15Cr.

Which is very very high for a show

Considering big names associated the actors must be payed well😳

I just wish best for the show.
