We will surely have the following:
Falling and catching scene
Lifting the heroine and walking scene
One dori scene
One payal scene
One sindoor scene

Hope they prove me wrong...and yes whatever be the situation rajmatha and the other lady they showed yesterday will get best of the costumes and dd will wear similar styled dresses in different colors

Sarcastic well what can we say wait and watch .

Ppl like those scenes so no problem if so

Gaytri is no were near geet .
Come on its better than geet .
Drashti as gaytri is the best thing this show .
Actress / actors can't change there voice lol .
Gaytri is not bubbly she is shown as matured and sensible and a book lover .
Those days women wore such sarees which a 6 yards ask u granny they will give u correct feedback .
Stop comparing it with geet pls .
Tm didn't say as u think she said something missing not like u comparing geet .
Which is no were geet .
All actress do similar bubbly roles but graph of the role change accordingly to the situation .
Go watch 3 episodes of ek tha again the graph of gaytri is changing .
Few ppl said madhubala too is like geet but it was not its a hit so allow the show to grow bit by bit .
Review of this show is positive so stop calling it geet pls
Geet had no family here gaytri has dotting parents whose pampered her and strong individual unlike geet who needed maan in each way but gaytri knows to deal with wrong things unlike geet who was weak .
Her graph will change slowly .
This show is promising because of huge star cast what had geet only maan geet nothing no story here there is strong story to tell and director is pretty neat .
Some how I feel ur not watch it because if u would have seen ep2 and 3 were gaytri showed so many shades in her character .

I am sorryif i offended you... i too had and have a lot of expectations from the serial hence the remark...i do feel gayatri character over the top bubbly...cvs always confuse bold outspoken and playful to ott bubbly...regarding costumes i am aware of period clothes hairstyles...dd is stunningly beautiful and ifelt shewould look more beautiful in period dressing but they have manged to make great looking actress older...and talking abt period clothing why is only gayatri wearing period clothes? Her babhis and ma look like babho (diya aur baati ) neighbours.

Sorry. That's my mistake. I didn't see the candles. I will look more closely next time. I agree that DD does eventually own the character, but I was speaking more in terms of her comic timing. Sorry for not being specific. She tends to be OTT whenever she has to act bubbly, & that is the same whether it is Geet or Madhubala, or even Gayatri.
Also, I only saw the first 2 episodes & wasn't quite impressed. So I am not sure how much of a change the 3rd episode brought to her character. I hope the show gets better with time.

When she was in blue Sari today, there were many candles around her.

Yes, I agree about the bubbly part. I thought you meant her other type of scenes or her acting in general. She does have the same style in bubbly scenes. I think only Muskaan was different in being bubbly, and she does go OTT sometimes or most of the times in bubbly scenes. Madhubala was never bubbly though. She just had few very rare moments.. I hope she improves in bubbly scenes though.

I am a sucker for romance... i love all the sugar sappy scenes...thats how chemistry is built but i hate when they let the intriguing story line fade and stick to sugar...the actors loose thechance to portray different dynamics...

I agree with you... as muskaan she was nice...bubbly yet their was a maturity too...i liked the character

Geet was innocent, even there the bubbliness inher situation was over the top...yet itwas first of the angry young man and innocent girl love story so it worked. ...and geets character went completely off when she forgave dev and even got him married to her own cousin.

Madhubala was good...as you said it was hardly a bubbly character dd did a good job as a strong girl...the story was fast paced it was good but after an year the story was over and it dragged

Gayatri should have been like pakhi in tumhhari pakhi...pakhi was bold, outspoken, bubbly but so gracefull...somethinglike that.

I dont understand the babhi taunting angle..well weren't saas powwerful in 1940s..if her parents were dependant on her brothers financially i can understand her babhis behaviour...her father is financially powerful, powerful enough to lend moneyto royal family and adores his daughter...how can any bahu be mean to such a nanand is beyond my understanding. ..saas listens to her bahus bitching about her daughter and neither condemns her or tell her pati...i dont understand..

People are talking abt shades she had showwn in her character. ..sorry i dont see any it looks same.
I am sorry for the frustration...i never compared hindi soaps with english ones...we are culturally different...but then after zindagi channel launched we got to watch pakistani ones...we are so similar culturally...,there serials even on a lower budget are better...even the worst done to death concepts have a tighter storyline, good acting and realistic costumes and sets...their is still someghing called subtlety i their acting...sorry in hindi soaps everything is over the top. Ironically zindagi channel also belongs to zee.

@bold - That's a very good point. Being curious would have been better than showing her laughing, but then now that I think about probably because it was her first time finally seeing him, so she was so happy like all of us would've have been had we seen our fav actor or anyone we had admired for so long and wanted to see?

About the bhabhi part, I agree with @dumpydwarf. I find that very realistic. No matter how rich the family is, the bhabhis do especially view the girl as a burden speaking from personal experience. Especially here when GYATRI is considered bad omen or manglik. I even found her mother scolding her for reading books and her bhabi saying these book doesn't teach anything or something like that when she said. I still remember my grandmother, who had the same mindset, always scolding me for reading books which I used to love a lot. She would hide it from me and even throw them away, so I had to read them hidely or at night times when everyone was asleep. So such families still exist, and I found that scene very realistic.

I don't know about pakhi so have no idea. I think Gayatri scenes will more serious types once she gets married, so I am so far enjoying her light scenes especially the ones which are bubbly because I find it a very refreshing change from the serious, reaerved, and self-righteousness, and always or mostly crying her last character Madhubala was. But like I said, I also want her to improve in bubbly scenes without being OTT as I want to watch her in these scenes but not remember Geet at the same time.
