I have a feeling that this show will remain underrated for a long time until we hit the main wedding track. Even i it doesn't d well in TRPs, it should be gathering a good online presence soon. The concept isn't really refreshing but in struggle to show amazing cove-hate stories and a modern youth class in majority of popular shows, I think ERSK balances out the quotient really well in this show.
The show is rooted in family values, traditions and ethics while bringing out leads that have a very open mind and liberal beliefs despite being tied down to conservative roots. I believe the premise of this show is that despite the two families coming together to tie there children together in a lifelong bond, there staying together is more necessary then they both realize in order to keep the children who are very open minded and free-willed bounded by the values they grow up thinking as correct.
I am going to hope that this show is an infinite series and that the equilibrium they have maintained in first fifteen episodes stays on. This show is reflective of higher upper class of indian/desi families and connects with majority of modern youth who are not the selective privileged ones.
Also the cheesiness is so much but somehow the execution is such that its all super adorable. How on earth did they manage to do that? HOW?
