I could be completely off the rocker here, but my guess would be that Hope is trying to say that there really isn't any BW influence that is sidelining Krystle.

Personally speaking, I never heard of Poonam or Padmini until I watched ENP. Heck, I'm an Ileana fan and I had no clue Padmini was in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero until a few moments ago (that's probably a personal experience). The face just didn't click for me.

This show is all about Sharda, Sakshi is just a supporting character. At times she will be shown more, and at other times she will step down to let other characters make their appearance. I see it like this:
Sakshi was important in the beginning because Sharda didn't have anyone. So that's about 100% Sakshi,

Slowly Karan began to express his support vocally, so that became 95% Sakshi, 5% Karan

Then Dadi joined the party: 85% Sakshi, 10% Karan, 5% Dadi

Then Latika and Chirag expressed their support and love for their mom (after the whole Suresh-Pallavi revelation): 75% Sakshi, 10% Karan, 10% Dadi, 2.5% Latika, 2.5% Chirag

Then Pallavi comes in and ends up being a positive character in support for Sharda.
45% Sakshi, 15% Karan, 20% Pallavi, 15% Dadi, 2.5% Latika, 2.5% Chirag.

And then Aarav is slowly becoming a part of the family
42% Sakshi, 13% Karan, 30% Pallavi, 10% Dadi (since Dadi also likes Pallavi now), 2% Latika, 2% Chirag, 1% Aarav.

Basically, until Pallavi doesn't die, Sakshi can't get her percentage back but even then she will have to distribute it with the other characters and Shanaya (since she has to change).

The only reason Sakshi "loses" her chunk of percentages is because she started off with 100%. I think the message: "To win some, you lose some" applies fully here 😃

Basically what I was trying to get at is that we all can agree that bollywood actors obviously have much bigger names and fame in the entertainment world than tellywood.

So let's say perhaps someone's favorite actor is Arshard Warsi.

Then take the example of Munnabhai. Yes the story revolved around Sanjay dutt's character but Arshad's character was a supporting actor therefore there was no need to have part of the movie dedicated to Arshad's character. Just like that this story revolves around Poonamji character and Krystle is playing a supporting actor.

My personal favorite actor is Aamir khan
And he played a supporting actor in the movie Taare Zameen par. The story didn't revolve around his character. The story revolved around Darshil's character. But AK played a very important supporting actor

So My point is that no matter how big or small of an actor/actress one is. It is their choice to play a character. The PH can basically suggest actors but the actors themselves are not forced to play a character. Same thing with Krystle.

The thing is that, krystle's role as shakshi is that of a lead role. That is why we are all concerned as to why she is being sidelined so much. I understand that she cannot do what Pallavi is doing and stand up to Suresh, otherwise she would have done that ages ago. But she is being given less dialogues than the other supporting cast and krystle has immence talent that is not being used.

Sony TV has become an expert at providing useless tv shows

this show had a lot of potential and the CV just crapped all over it!
