1. Krystal is very popular TV actor. Her role should have been more important in the story which it was at the beginning. But now she has been turned into just a prop.

2. Sharda has not got her nayee pehchaan. Her dealings with Suresh is exactly as it was before . Where has she changed ? She has not changed at all. AS always she lets Suresh insult her and she stands subdued and mute .
3. Status of Suresh . He is living like a king with two wives under the same roof . What is this ? If TV shows keep on showing men going unscathed after treating women and wives as dirts then they will forever remain regressive for our society

I am sorry in advance if you don't like what I have to say. I agree Krystal is a popular tv actor. This does not mean a character SHE HERSELF CHOOSES to play needs to be important. She played veera in Kis Desh... she was barely a minor character in that show. Take the examples of Dhrasti Dhami she is extremely popular now but even she played a supporting role in DMG. So my point is that Krystle choose this role it's not like they forced her with a gun to her head and said sign the contract.

I agree Sharda has not gotten her Nayee Pehchaan. I think the only thing changed about her is "literate" now. I do agree that a person go from signing papers with a thumb sign to being literate in whatever amount of days she went to school for.

I totally agree with you as far as suresh's situation goes.

^^^

Sakshi's role in Modi household was quite significant in the beginning . But now with two yesteryear popular BW actresses in ENP, Krystal has been sidelined.
In fact Shanaya as a negative is now more important than Sakshi as the future story would show how Shanaya starts to respect Sharda I guess.

m glad the focus is not on her. i think she overacts sometimes, Poonam dhillon is far better than a female lead,
also padmini is putting up a great show and becoz of her Trp's have seen a rise, i m not liking they r ending her track !!!

and abt ur insulting point..well its obvious they have to drag the show...if she changes tht would mean the story is on its way out lolz

Totally agree with all ur points.

As a Krystle fan,I am disappointed that she hasnt got her due in ENP..She signed up for something different...Initially her role had significance and Sakhsi along with Shradha formed the crux of the sory..Now Krystle is being relegated to playing a sidekick.ENP as a whole is not doing justice to woman empowerment theme.Shradha is still shown as a woman who lacks courage and self respect

Also comparisons b/w Krystle and veteran actresses are silly.Krystle has the experience of working in some 3-4 telly soaps maximum. Her potential hasnt even been properly explored.Poonam ji and Padmini have worked with ace directors and legendary actors in BW movies. They are seasoned actresses with loads of experience.Krystle may not be an actress who can match their stds but she is definitely better than the supporting cast and male lead of this show. She tends to go OTT in poorly directed scenes with senseless dialogues as she is more of a director's actress

Coming to ratings,ENP had best ratings when the show began and maximum importance was given to Sakshi-Shradha...Saakshi encouraging Shradha to pursue education and her giving strength and confidence to Sakshi Ma earned the highest ratings. The trps increase whenever importance is given to maa-beti bond..It started going on downward spiral when the Sakshi-Karan love track started and Shradha became involved in solving domestic issues instead of education...so the argument of Krystle nt getting trps is inane

Thank you for post...totally agree. Seeing a man strutting around with his two wives with no respect for womanhood is nauseating!!!
The respect Sharda is giving him because he is her husband and the childrens father is sick. Karan not voicing out when his mum is ill treated is not acceptable. Makes him a weak man not a good son.

Needing Pallavis character to teach Suresh some BASIC manners makes Sharda a wimp. So since Pallavi and not Sharda is trying to change the so called man... Please I want to know what is the base of this show.

I thought they were very proud of a social message. What message? I dont comprehend.

A good and satisfying post!

TRPs started going down when they introduced the Fui track (it looked completely out of place) n ENP was getting steady, high ratings ( compared to Sony's shows) before that, which included Karan Sakshi's marital relationship.
What this show lacks is drama. It was too sweet n simple. Pallavi's track was introduced to spice up things but yes now it looks regressive that Suresh is staying like a king with both his wives n most of his children are completely okay with it.
Can't understand why again Sharda went back to her old self. Previously she needed Sakshi to imbibe confidence in her, Karan to confront Suresh on his infidelity n now she needs Pallavi to be her spokesperson.
Let's see how things go from here- story n TRPs n the show itself😊.
