Awesome update... raghav and maya are engaged and raghav is doing all this for his grandfather... . He is not happy... finally raghav and kalpana meet again but are engaged with some other persons. Raghav realize his love but kalpana not. How will they come together.

Part 5

Raghav's room

After freshening up Ragahv came out of the washroom. While going to his bed passing a center table his eyes fell on Kalpana's necklace laying on it. He took it in his hand. When Kalpana pushed him hard this necklace fell down from her neck. Recalling his moment with Kalpana Ragahv smiled. Looking at the necklace he whispered, "I am coming to see you tomorrow. In the mean time Sammy entered into the room. "So, she is your girl, hearing Sammy Ragahv looked back to see him.

Rag: how do you know?

Sammy: look at your facial expression.

After a little pause Sammy added, "Not only I, any blind people also can guess it. Raghav smiled. After remembering something Sammy said, "I really don't understand why did you tell her that you are working here as a guard?

Rag: they know me like this from the beginning.

Sammy: so when you are going to reveal your identity

Rag: soon

Sammy: so what is your next step?

Rag: I am going to meet her father tomorrow.

Sammy: direct propose for marriage?

Rag: hm

Sammy: if her father doesn't agree for this marriage, I meant to say their status doesn't match yours. In this case...

Raghav stopped him saying, "I will beg for her.

On the other hand laying on the bed Kalpana was tossing and turning. Raghav's strange behavior toward her in the storage today snatched her sleep away. She got up from the bed and walked to the window. Looking outside she whispered, "I wish you would be here. then she walked back to the bed and sat on it. Once Prem is here I will tell everything about him, Kalpana mumbled to herself and added with the mixture of anger, "how dare. How dare he kissed me. I know Prem so many years but I never allowed him to kiss me even though he is my finance. I hate that man. I would never like to see his face even in my dream.

The next day morning

Seeing Ragavh with a normal costume, Sammy asked, "Are you leaving? "Hm, Ragahv replied softly with a smile.

Sammy: ok. You go. I will handle the court today

Ragavh smiled.

Sammy: best of luck. I will wait for the good news.

Rag: Thank you

Then Ragahv left the Empire.

In the afternoon

Once Ragahv reached the clothing store where Kalpana was working he thought to meet her first. Seeing Ragahv in the store a young woman walked toward him. "How can I help you? the woman said with a smile.

Rag: I am looking for Kalpana. Isn't she working today?

Woman: Kalpana doesn't work here. She is my friend. I was sick so she worked here on behalf of me.

Rag: I see. She must be at home then.

He seems unfamiliar, Kalpana's friend Rubina thought, how does he know Kalpana?

Rubina: how do you know Kalpana? I meant to say I am her best friend and I know everyone she knows. So far I know without Prem she doesn't even talk to any person especially to any man.

Hearing the name Prem' he felt familiar. He tried to remember. He saw Prem with Kalpana 13 years ago. "Is he still in touch with Kalpana? Ragahv mumbled to himself. "Did you say anything? hearing Rubina Ragahv came to his sense. In the mean time a customer came in and Rubina made herself busy with the customer. Ragahv left from there.

Taking a train Ragahv reached Kalpana's house in two hours. Ragahv noticed Vittal going out. Seeing Ragahv in his place Vittal said with a smile.

Vittal: Glad to see you.

Rag: glad to see you too. Were you going out?

Vittal: yes. I am going out to invite people.

Rag: invite people?

Vittal: hm. But I didn't forget you. Glad you are here or I had to go to your place to invite you. Though I just met you but I don't know why I feel so connected with you.

Raghav smiled and said, "I will surely come. What type of occasion...? Vittal stopped him saying, "Why Kalpana didn't tell you when she met you at your place? Ragahv shook his head. After thinking something Vittal said, "I am so stupid. How a girl can invite people to her own marriage. Allowing him to continue Ragahv stood quiet. Vittal smiled and said, "Yes, my daughter Kalpana is getting married to her childhood friend Prem. Ragahv felt loss of words. In the mean time Prem came in. "Uncle, Hearing Prem, Vittal said, "You will have long life. We were just talking about you and Kalpana. Prem smiled and then touched Vittal's feet.

Vittal: God bless you my son

Then Vittal introduced Ragahv with Prem.

Prem: hello

Raghav didn't reply. He just nodded his head slowly. Prem looked at Vittal and said, "Uncle, how were you doing?

Vittal: I am good beta but Kalpana is not. She is upset on you. You were supposed to come two days ago. Did you forget?

Prem: I didn't forget.

Showing some packages he was holding Prem said, "Actually I went to South state to buy the saree that Kalpana is going to wear on the wedding day that's why I couldn't come on time.

Vittal: I see. Now go and show your face to your would be wife.

"I am going, saying so Prem walked to Kalpana's room.

Vittal: you know what Raghav, my daughter Kalpana is very lucky to have a caring and loving person like Prem by her side. My daughter is very happy. And my happiness lies only on her. Now I can die peacefully.

After a little pause Vittal said, "by the way, you stay here until I come back ok. Then Vittal left. Ragahv walked to Kalpana's room. As he reached the door he heard Kalpana saying, "Why should I listen to you when you don't listen to me?

Prem: I been listening to you since we became friends and you were always the boss. How can you say that? This time I went to buy your saree. I wanted my Kalpana looks the most beautiful bride in the world.

Kalpana didn't say anything.

Prem: Can you please try it for me now.

Kal: I won't. When you don't care about my feelings why should I care about yours? Go from here. I will not talk to you

Kalpana was about to leave but Prem stopped her. As Prem held Kalpana's hand, Ragavh tightened his grip around a poll next to the door.

Prem: if you stop talking to me then I will die. Can you see me dying?

Kalpana turned to face Prem and placed her palm on his mouth. She looked into his eyes. "Never ever say that again, Kalpana said. Prem could see Kalpana became emotional.

Prem: Kalpana I was just joking.

Kal: I will die if something happens to you.

Moving her palms away from his mouth Prem hugged Kalpana. Kalpana hugged him back. "I love you, Kalpana whispered. "I love you too, Prem whispered back.

Kal: I know how much you care about me.

Prem: then?

Kal: I don't know what happened to me. I was missing you a lot.

As Raghav loosened his grip he noticed blood in his hand due to holding a sharp thing in the poll.

The next morning

Singh Empire

Seeing Raghav getting ready for the court in his room Sammy asked, "When did you come? "Last night, Ragahv replied softly

Sammy: then why didn't you meet me? You knew that I will be waiting for you right?

Ragahv didn't say anything.

Sammy: ok, tell me how was your meeting?

When Ragahv didn't say anything, Sammy said, "Did you get to meet her father?

Rag: hm

Sammy: did you talk to him? Did he agree? Did he...

Ragahv stopped him saying, "She is getting married to her childhood friend soon. He looked at Sammy who was already looking at Ragahv sadly. "Get ready, Ragahv said and added, "I am waiting for you in the court. Then Ragahv left from there leaving Sammy worried. He is in pain, Sammy thought, I wish he could share his pain with me.

The next day

Gfather informed that Maya is already in the palace.

Gfather: don't worry about the court today. Go with Maya and do shopping with her. The wedding is not that far

Raghav didn't say anything. He just left with Maya.

The next day morning

Seeing Gfather rushing to Raghav's room Sammy followed him behind.

Gfather: Raghav why did you do that?

Ragahv lowered his head.

Sammy: Gfather what happened?

GF: Sahil called me. Ragahv called the engagement off with Maya.

GF looked at Ragahv and said, "I asked you several times but you never said that you don't want to marry her. He sat beside Ragahv on the bed. Taking his hand in him GF said, "Raghav I just wanted to see you settling down by marrying someone and having kids like other people. After a little pause he added, "Actually it was my fault. Somehow you were forced. Ragahv was still sitting on the same position. GF stood up and came outside. Sammy noticed him not feeling well. He came out along with him.

Sammy: Gfather are you ok?

GF: Sammy, can you walk me to my room?

GF's room

Making GF laying on the bed, Sammy was about to leave but GF stopped him holding his hand. "I need to talk to you. Can you stay here for a while, hearing GF Sammy nodded his head. He sat beside GF.

GF: Sahil will not stay quiet. After all it is a matter of his reputation. I am not worrying about the business with them. I am just worrying...

GF could not say anything. Sammy understood. Taking his hand in him GF said, "I am glad that Raghav has a brother like you. Promise me you will always be by his side and keep supporting him. Sammy nodded his head and then said, "I will.

At 12 AM

As Ragahv entered into GF's room, his eyes fell on GF who was sleeping. He sat beside GF on the bed. Taking his hand in him Ragahv said, "I am sorry Gfather. I could not fulfill your wish. He leaned down to place a soft kiss on Gfather's forehead, a tear fell on his eyes. As Gfather opened his eyes, Raghav already reached the door. Don't feel guilty my child, Gfather said in his mind, you were, you are and you will always be my dearest child. God gives you all the happiness you deserve. Grandfather showered all his best wishes to Raghav for the last time before he left the world for forever.

Three weeks later

Dining area

While having breakfast Sammy's mother said, "If father wouldn't make Raghav the in charge we wouldn't have to face it today. "You are right, Sammy's Aunty Barkha said and added, "it is all because of Raghav. If it goes like this then it is not that far that we all have to be on the street. Sammy was there. This was the first time Sammy didn't utter a word. He thought somehow they were right.

Sammy went to Ragahv's room to talk to him.

Sammy: Raghav I need to talk to you

Rag: hm, tell me

Sammy: Marry Maya and this is the only solution to save the state.

Rag: why do I have to marry Maya? I am working na day and night. I will definitely be able to find out some solution.

Sammy: nothing will work. Most of our clients came through King Sahil. Since you called the engagement off we lost all of them. Now I am just worrying, if the rest get to know our current situation they will back off. Sahil is more experienced and powerful than us. He will not stay quiet until we come on the street. Gfather was also worried about it.

Taking Raghav's hand in him Sammy pleaded, "Raghav it is in your hand now. Please save the state. Please marry Maya. Releasing his hand from Sammy Ragahv said, "I cant.

Sammy: Maya is such a nice woman. I know you don't love Maya. After marriage her unconditional love will make you fall for her. You just need to forget Kalpana.

Ragahv looked at Sammy. Pointing his hand to his left chest Ragahv said, "She is already here. How can I apart this from my body? he walked to the almirah. He took kalpana's hairpin in his hand and then came back to Sammy. Showing hairpin Ragahv said, "It's been with me since I met her. I thought I lost her. After all these years when I found her you are telling me to forget her? Taking his hand in him Sammy said, "Ragahv, Kalpana is getting married to someone else. After a little pause he continued, "I was very happy for you. I even thought to support you. I was almost going to talk to Gfather to tell him to call the engagement off with Maya. Taking a deep breath he said, "But Kalpana doesn't love you. For her you were nothing but just a stranger who she met 13 years ago. Now she is getting married to the person she loves. Sammy noticed a tear fell from Raghav's eyes. He could feel Ragahv's pain.

Sammy: For the people like them values, commitment, love, dignity are more important than anything else. She will not come to you leaving her love.

Ragahv could not hear anything. Seeing Ragahv leaving the room Sammy asked, "Ragahv where are you going?

Rag: please leave me alone.

Sammy: I wish I could leave you alone for forever. But I cant. Because I promised Gfather.

Few days later

While going to the court passing the corridor Ragahv heard two guards' conversations, "now King Sahil locked guard Vittal up in the prison. "Who are you talking about? hearing Ragahv both guards looked back.

Guard: we are apologizing your majesty. I know we should not talk about the people of other state while we are on duty.

Rag: it's ok. Just tell me what happened with guard Vittal?

Guard: he was on duty that day. Before he left for the day he went to lock a storage up. Noticing the broken locker he thought to bring a new locker. Leaving the storage open he left for few minutes. In the mean time 15 solders entered into the storage to take rest. When Vittal came back he didn't check the storage again with this thought that no one was there. He locked the storage up and then left for the day. Within an hour the storage caught fire due to the electric circulations. No one was able to come out. All died. Then as a punishment king Sahil announced death sentence for him. Guard Sahil is in the cell now. In two days he will be hung to death.

Ragahv was not sure it was Kalpana's father or not. He thought to go and visit him personally. Hiding his identity he left the empire at night for West State. Once he reached the place he got to know that it was none other than Kalpana's father Vittal. Ragahv called Sammy to meet him at Sahil's place.

The next day

Sahil's Empire

Sahil, Ragahv and Sammy were sitting face to face.

Sahil: I heard that you wanted to meet me regarding our current incident.

Rag: you heard it right

Sahil: go ahead.

Sahil's behavior was not as friendly as he was when he brought a proposal for his daughter.

Rag: you lost your 15 solders

Sahil: hm

Rag: I am ready to give you my 50 well trained solders. Please let that Guard go

Sammy excused himself and took Ragahv at the corner. "Ragahv, have you gone mad? Sammy whispered, "How can you offer him our 50 solders? "I am the one who takes decision right? Please do not interfere, saying so Raghav left from there.

Rag: so what is your decision?

Sahil: how did you think that I will agree with your proposal?

Both Ragahv and Sammy looked at him confused. After a little pause Sahil continued, "I will let that guard go only if you agree to marry my daughter Maya. Let me know your decision. You have only 24 hours. Hearing Sahill, Sammy was not surprised but he was shocked when Ragahv said, "I am ready to marry your daughter.

Sahil: this marriage will happen first then I will let the guard go. You know this time I can't take any risk. Actually I am not saying that. Your previous experience is telling you that.

Rag: arrange it. I will not go back to my state without your daughter.

At night

Sahil's two men were helping Raghav to get ready. In the mean time Sammy came in. "Can you leave us for a while, hearing Sammy Sahil's men left from there. Placing his hand on Ragavh's shoulder Sammy said, "Raghav, are you sure you want to do it? Ragahv nodded his head and then said, "I have no other option. After a little pause he continued, "You know what Sammy, my father was not only my father, he was my everything. All these years I was without my father. I know how it feels. Kalpana is only 21. I don't want she goes through the same I went through. Sammy's eyes filled with water. He wished he could put everything back in place. Sahil's men came back and informed them that the priest is already here. Then Ragavh came out along with them leaving Sammy with teary eyes.

Aww Raghav finds out that Kalpana is getting married to the person she loves very much and he's is forced to mary Maya. His grandfather dies and has nobody except Sammy. I feel really sad for Raghav.
