Is it a crime... If I read a book, and the story base attracts my attention... And then I start writing it all new in my way???

I mean ... Is this allowed?
If anyone here knows... Can you help me??
Are we permitted to use story line of the books...
Or is it necessary to have the sole story framed by us... 😕

I actually need suggesstion 😳

Considering you give credits to original story writer, and confirm that the story actually belongs to that person, (mention name of original story and writer too..) I guess.. that could be acceptable.

You can't copy it word for word, and then say "but I gave them credit!" that's about all I know..😆

U reminded an advertisement on TV...
Where a boy came to see a girl for marriage... The girl beautifully served the food , everyone appreciated the food, she blushed more then usual...
