Kalpana shoved him away from herself with her elbow & reversed positions & now stood strangling him by the collar. That was an reflex action on her part , not that she could have resisted doing it.
Their eyes met.
'Partner, are you alright ?' his words from earlier that morning suddenly came back to her , as if on instinct she loosened her hold & slowly withdrew her hand.
Stepping a few steps closer
"What on earth are you doing here ?" She whisper-yelled at him. She saw him give an elf-like grin with mischief filled eyes that complimented it "Nothing much , was just getting my dose of entertainment. Afterall it isn't daily that I get to see my partner run from someone. Though I was seeing it all from the balcony seat I thought joining in would be much more fun ... "
"Tujhe apne fun ki padi hai bewkoof ?? Here I am ..." she stopped. No ! This wasn't the time to snap back at him, besides he was having fun seeing her in trouble ...wasn't he ? The concern he'd shown in the morning was just another stunt of his to tease her. She concluded as she felt something contract in her chest , a sharp bolt of pain.
"Nothing..." as she begun to walk towards Prem's house again.
R : Stop being a foolish girl Partner by going back there again without a plan in your head . You'd only get yourself in more trouble.
K : Who said I don't have a plan ?

K : I'll go inside , find proof against Prem , show it to the police & be free.
R : (cupping his cheeks with his hands & faking surprise) Oh my god ...I mean , really Oh my god ! (Straightening his face) I hope you know that you aren't walking into a pizza place where you just place an order & get what you want. Last time I got you bailed , you won't get a bail again if you get caught trespassing !

She wasn't allowed to complete her statement as she felt Raghav 's hand clasp her arm and pull her abruptly towards him. 'What the ...' She didn't continue though when she noticed a car passing very close by her , almost brushing her.
R : Hey isn't that Paakhi Kapoor's car ?
K : (noticing the number as well) Yeah ! Sahil uncle must have come to visit Prem's dad. They're business associates.
R : Hmmm...I see !
