Hmm, nice update. But for me Kalpana too needs some lessons; if a person is good he is good with everyone. Being angry at someone's tone or way of talking because he is an employee is different from sounding offensive. Scolding someone is different and using words like fool, useless, etc is different. Her reason of being angry was right, but just like Raghav's way of showing his displeasure at a work done wrongly, or when disturbed wrongly; in the same way Kalpana's way of showing her displeasure was also wrong. In this one, somehow I didn't feel Raghav was wrong but yes good training for him. Maybe I am wrong in my interpretation. But loved the way you are showing Raghav's transformation and lessons. This part was important for his change, and showing him the mirror.

Though I do think there should be a balance between Harish Singhania being a hard task-master and teacher for his son; and also showing little sensitivity & love for him, especially as far as his sleep is concerned.Earlier maybe he was too liberal and now he is too strict, hope in future he finds a balance between both.

Plus yes, please do continue with this SS. Love it and nothing wrong with it for you to be unsure about. 😃 Sorry, if my interpretation was wrong.

I will reply everyone later on... I have just added this chapter in hurry, Please forgive me for any mistakes and illogical sequences.

Chapter 3

Justifications, excuses and Achievements!

It was very next morning, when Raghav packed his bag to head off to home and catch up sleep for couple of hours, get ready and leave for office. But before he can do that, he saw Madhvi over near cabin, with cups of tea and kettle, Raghav refused to have it... "trying" to be polite initially, but giving up once Madhvi tried requesting him again as to he deserves it and in a friendly way... which pissed him off when he ultimately spoke up, "I will have tea at home and I need to go..." saying so he left the cabin, while Viraj apologized to her and requested her to forgive them, but they will manage. Madhvi nodded her head, and took the tea back, offering to abdul.

Kalpana had reached her office, and went straight to Mr. Rawat, who was talking to Harish. She smiled while apologizing and handing over the file, she requested Mr. Rawat to get this approved so she can further analyze. Rawat looked at Harish who gave him nod with smile and he left for finalizing and adding all the details referring to other file.

"So how are you Ms. Jadhav?" asked Hairsh. "Sir, doing well," replied Kalpana and saw him looking here and there. "So, how is Vitthal and other people in society, hope there are no other trouble there..." he asked curiously, trying to come to point of watchman. "All is good, and dad has also thanked you for helping them sort out with this watchman issue thing." She replied smiling. "How are they?" asked Harish instantly, wanting to know member's feedback. Kalpana looked at him, "Sir it will be too early to judge them for now, but then you need not worry about anything, Viraj uncle will take care of it all... thank you for sending him along, or else, it might be tough person like ..." she stopped. "You know what happened yesterday night..." Kalpana continued, looking at Harish with an excitement to pour out everything... Harish gestured her to continue as he was curious, Kalpana told him about Raghav's shouting and how he had to work out for several things, making Harish laugh while Kalpana joined him, "Don't worry sir, Raghav will learn, and anyways, I gave him earful for his not so friendly ways... I completely understand your Point of View... But I am sure with Viraj uncle around he will learn it... afterall coming from such a high post in..." Kalpana's words were left out with entry of Mr. Rawat who handed her file with details and approved, Kalpana took the file and got up to leave, while Mr. Rawat said, "Be prepared, as Rag..." Harish continued with laugh, "Chote Sahab will come at around 1.30, cuz I have said 12 to him," completed Harish, making him avoid taking his whole name. Kalpana agreed and left from there to prepare the budget for new project as per details of previous meeting. Harish and Rawat continued their discussion.

Raghav reached home, had his tea and headed to his bed. He was tired, for second time tired after work and not partying. He dozed off setting alarm in his mobile for 11.15 am. Just 3 hours? Naa... I will manage to make it at 12.00, and he changed the time to 11.45.

After Mr. Rawat left, Harish thought back at the time of previous day, when he had to make up a story to tell Kalpana to justify why Raghav was there.

Flashback:

Harish had just reached home when his phone had rang. It was Kalpana and he smiled, while picking it up.

Kalpana: "Sorry to disturb you sir, but I wanted to talk to you about watchmen here."

Harish: "Is there any major problem beta?"

Kalpana: "Yes, um... Sir... Umm.. the thi.. thing is..."

Harish: "Don't hesitate, tell me!"

Kalpana: "Sir, I do not find Raghav to be suitable person, I mean he is odd, I feel it's too much of faking on his part and he is just flaunting and showing off..." she completed in one breath, as Harish thought, "Gosh... I should have understood this sharp side of Kalpana who could easily sense any flaws or discourse. She had been in Singhaniyas since long, and smaller excuses won't wory."

Kalpana: "Sir, Are you there?" she tried to confirm.

Harish: "yes, Beta.. the thing is... I have purposely placed him there..." he said closing his eyes... Which must have confused Kalpana, as she asked, "Why Sir? I mean... He doesn't appear to be any security person, but some..." she was cut,

Harish: "Yes you are right, he is actually or say way actually into Police Department earlier."

Harish said and he continued making up something to confuse Kalpana,

"Beta the thing is, Raghav's family stays in small town of Asangaon, and he had been well placed in police department as Sub-inspector of Police, after being promoted from assistant. But then when he was going to go step higher there were some issues which was result of him being rude to commissioner police who had landed up in station in casuals." Convincing himself of plot he has created, he continued now justifying Raghav's actions and what all he wanted to change in him, "Kalpana the thing is, Raghav's family is not too well to do, but they made sure Raghav studies, and gets all the luxuries in life to be successful, but they soon realized their son going on wrong way, and being aggressive, to other people and also often ending up partying all night rather than going on his wor... I mean duty, even on duty, most of the time, he had spend shouting and dominating other emp... I mean other junior police and constables, and in one such scolding session came commissioner who was shocked to see Raghav's action, he tried stopping him, but Raghav not realizing ended up being mad at him too, and he got fired from his work, and his stars were taken away, making him common man, leading to problems in his family, his father had come to me with the problem, I offered him to speak to commissioner but he disagreed saying he wanted Raghav to be hard working and good human being and I assured him, that Raghav will change, and on same day I got to realize about watchman issue, so appointed him there, without him knowing that I have spoken to his father and stuff, so.. please you also don't tell or speak to him about this at all.. But I understand totally, that he is not qualified kind of person, but trust me, I care for the security, hence I have send Viraj there to guide him and support him; but beta, please tolerate this goings for now, I know your friend could have done good job, but... Raghav..." Kalapana continued, "Don't worry, ummm... I understand you and with Viraj uncle you may not have to worry about anything." Saying so she assured him, things will be ok, and his words to Raghav's parents will be kept on. Harish also requested Kalpana to help him in this mission to change Raghav, ... by making him realize his duties and responsibilities, and teach him ways of respecting everyone and everything, money, name, fame everything. Kalpana had agreed, and hanged down the phone.

Flashback Ends.

He was not sure if Kalpana had been convinced fully or not, but seeing her talk today, he was assured that Kalpana had taken his words seriously and would really be turning to helping hand. All he wished now, is that Kalpana do not speak about this things to Raghav or Raghav do not bring up any such topics, at the same time, Harish did have the strong urge to ask Kalpana for help directly and tell her everything, but then things might not be taken positively, he will wait for some times.

[Ok so this was whole flashback, which I would have shown, on the day, Kalpana comes to know that Raghav is Raghav Singhaniya son of Harish... And she might have felt bad... but, for now... I guess, Kalpana's actions needed justifications as soon as possible. But I am really hoping L that now ahead you won't find changes in character too illogical for Kalpana, cuz soon she will be starting to see goodness in Raghav, and it might seem to be all of sudden now, cuz you know about Harish's words, will try to change and make the transformation smoother.]

As expected Raghav was "Late" for office and he turned up at around 1.00, apologizing he headed towards meeting room. All of them were present, and approving everything, he was set to leave the place by 4.00. "I could see hard work in this whole thing? Good Job Raghav!" said Harish when Raghav was all set to leave. Hearing something positive from his father after so long stopped his feet from moving ahead as he turned around to look at his father, who was smiling. "I liked the design and facilities you have thought of, and must say, you have completely utilized your own understanding about today's generation's recreational activities... and I am impressed, rather than just using them, you have thought of providing it to other people." Harish said. Raghav was somewhere glad to hear this coming from his father, and he smiled, "Thank You Dad! I am super happy to know, atleast something coming from me is appreciated." Harish looked at him, "There are many more my son, just that you rarely give it a chance to come out in open and make it visible." He said. Raghav turned back to leave, "Just be careful of not bumping into Kalpana while leaving," Hairsh warned Raghav. Raghav turned back, "Oh yes, that little Hitler wanted my ID proofs with address," he said smirking, which shocked Hairsh too. "So, I assume my dad will like always find solution for this too!" he said looking at confused Hairsh. Harish smiled, "Well, my son has made fake ID cards in college, for library, and also has attempted adventures, like sneaking into principal's cabin, and changing names on answer sheets!!! Or bigger ones, to include also made fake passport copy to attach to enter into Australian Consultancy Centre or say even join clubs offered by these organization... what is name of that night club... Umm... Friend's First?... !! RIGHT? If not can I call up Friends First Club and confirm your address Mr. Singhaniya?" Raghav was taken aback by the fact his dad was aware of all the blunders he had done, just because his dad did not permit him for certain things! Because his dad had actually made it a point to put him in class of nerds while his own friends were in another one... His father had actually stopped librarian from giving him music books and seeing his friend almost lose challenge he had with topper..!!! but HOW? Harish smiled, "So I am sure, this one too you will manage...!!! Right?" he confirmed. Raghav stared at him angrily. "FINE!" and stormed out, while Harish sat there worried, "Maybe I will have to speak to Kalpana? Let's see, how far can I stretch it.!!

Raghav again reached home and wondered, how will he get this thing done, mostly he convinces his friends to make such things, but now... for what?? Will he be telling them he wants to prove his watchman post?

It was almost 2 hours later that Raghav got up from bed and headed towards his "Duty."

Kalpana left from her office and on the way, after walking for sometime Kalpana felt someone was stalking her, she turned around to find 4 hefty man behind. She tried ignoring walking faster, till those three surrounded her. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you, if you do as I said...!!!" said one of them. Kalpana was breathing heavily, she tried finding way out, but failed.

Raghav got into the car, grrr... I am no more Singhaniya, I will have to walk or take rick... he said, getting down and making his way to the gate...

Kalpana was now on floor with 4 of them surrounded her, while she gathered her courage to get up again and use her purse to hit... and she did... she slapped one of them and tried running away but two other men held her. Crowd was seeing it seeing 3 of them surrounding Kalpana... most decided to ignore, one tried to stop only to be hit back by them, scaring rest who might want to attempt. Kalpana was scared, but she held onto her bag and files she had tightly and used some of it for defending herself. While she was again pushed on floor, hurting her elbow, and blood oozing out from her head, and her stuff fell down. Two of them fell on the floor trying to snatch away her bag and file forcefully, which was using to defend herself, and escape. She was still strong enough to try saving her stuff, and things from their reach.

Raghav's eyes fell on the scene while he was passing by, when one of them had taken a stick and was all set to hit Kalpana. He was shocked. He reached the place and stopped that stick from reaching Kalpana who was on the floor bending, as if trying to protect something... Raghav looked at three of them, and pushed them with might, so that they lost sticks from their hand, one of them said, "Dude, you better stay out of this, we just want her file and the bag, and will leave... it's personal reasons..." Raghav refused to back out, while Kalpana while couching had her bag strongly held in her started the action sequence. Raghav fought with them all, giving them enough to make 2 of them fall down unconscious, while 2 of them ran away.

Raghav looked at Kalpana angrily, "So what's more important than your life?" he asked in loudest tone, "You talk big in society, and act as Hitler, and here, here you failed to defend yourself, super woman!!" Kalpana turned back, and her eyes were red, her forehead was bleeding and her elbow and hands had scars, her dress had torn from side, it was all messy as well; her look scared Raghav, he offered her helping hand to get up, and she gently placed her hand getting up with his support, feeling weak, while she still looked down, unable to speak a word, that's when Raghav so it was file of his project, "Rest and Shine Resort" layout and budgets. It was newest project and it was something to be kept as most confidential thing, till they got the contract and land approved. It was something his opponents were eyeing, for both compete for same piece of land, they want mall and he wants resort!! "So could they be goons send in by Kapoors?" he wondered and looked at Kalpana who was still in dazz... Raghav felt bad seeing her condition, "Are you alright?" he asked. Kalpana couldn't utter the word as she fell down on her knees again crying. While Raghav sat down next to her, placing his hands on her shoulder, and she hugged him crying harder and sobbing, "Had they been su..."... she paused as she cried and hesitated, "what would have I told Sir, and Chote Sahab? ..." She thought scared. Raghav understood what she meant, as he hugged her back consoling her... He picked her stuff and helped her up, she pushed herself away, realizing her actions, and thanked Raghav. Her eyes were still red. "Maybe, i shouldn't have suggested to bring these things home, to keep it safe..." she continued while still having tears in her eyes, "I will go back now and keep it there, I know it is not even safe there, with fear of someone leaking the information from my cabin..." she said... and thought of turning behind, only to be held back by Raghav who stopped her by holding her wrist, she turned to face him. "Don't worry take this home, and anyways, we will protect it..." he requested knowing, that this file was not just important for the project but overall other few minor projects. She might have been told to keep it at home, fearing these so called opponents would try out nastiest ways to get the file from them, "I will not let those people succeed in their games." He thought while looking at Kalpana was still unsure, Raghav took the file and told her to come along, as he too is going to Gokuldham, Kalpana was confused, she was feeling very much irresponsible for now, but couldn't do anything, as her thinking capacity had ended, hence followed the instructions given by Raghav.
