He was told earlier by someone that kalpi may have her boyfriend (if i m not wrong). So can't blame raghav alone. But feeling bad for kalpi. She is hurt seen raghav's rude behaviour towards her.😭

Chapter 13

Ragav stares at the digital clock on the car dashboard... The clock reading 1:00 am... Looking at the dark house he wonders if she is awake... "Nah I doubt it...," he says softly. He enters the house and heads for the kitchen, a glimmer of hope that thinks would be just like before... Kalpi heating his dinner.

Looking at the empty kitchen, he mutters in disappointment, "I am a husband now... Why would she bother to stay up!" No longer hungry, he heads to their bedroom... Confused by the emotions pouring into him... He had never felt nor reacted so strongly, and he could not understand why this time was different. His heart mutters bitterly, "because you expected her to be awake." Stopping outside the door... He tells himself to calm down. He enters the room... Frowns as he stares at the empty bed. "How dare she...," he thinks angrily... He storms towards the balcony staring at the outhouse... Just because we had a small arguemnet this morning and I didn't take her calls during the day... She decides not to sleep in our room... How dare she go and complain about me to her mother... He thinks furiously.

He races down the stares... Mindless with anger... Heading for the outhouse... He does not know what he will do... He only knows that his wife sleeps where he sleeps...He stops stares at His wife... Relief flooding him as he watches her... Fast asleep on the couch... His heart soaring... She waited up for me... She is upset with me and she still waited up... Tried to wait up... He amends happily.

His gaze softening Ragav walks up to Kalpi slowly... Savouring the moment... Reaching her... He falls to his knees... His gaze not wavering from her face... Slowly he raises his hand... Caressing her cheek with his fingers... Softly...slowly... Lost in her peacefulness.

While having his dinner, he says, "Kalpi, why are you quiet? You have not said a word." Kalpi looks at him, fighting with herself to keep her sadness at bay, she replies softly, "I was not aware you wanted to to hear what I have to say." Flushing for being chastised... For not having recieved her calls during the day... He says, "I am sorry about..." Using her hand, Kalpi gestures for him to stop... She says, "I would prefer an explanation... Not an apology." Seeing a glimmer of anger in his eyes... Kalpi waits for the fireworks. Instead Ragav gets up and walks away... Kalpi stares at him and says aloud, "don't shut me out Ragav." He stops, but does not turn. Taking it as a positive sign, Kalpi walks up... Takes his hand in hers, looks into his troubles eyes and says, "talk to me." He stares at her... His eyes speaking of his battle within... He releases her hold on him and says gruffily, "I have nothing to say." And walks away.

Kalpi stands at the foot of the stairs... Watching him walk to their room... Without a backwards glance... Tears falling silently... Her heart aching... Filled with regret over her selfishness... For wanting to have some cherished memories with him to remember him by when she would no longer be his side... When he be with his real... Complete... Family... Her forgotten. Filled with guilt her heart cries out, "Had i known you would hurt this much, I would never have put myself before you."

She stands there... Wondering whether she should go upstairs or not. Ragav comes out of the room... Leans over the banister... Looking down and asks, "are you coming to bed?" Relieved for not having to make the decision, Kalpi nods... Yes. Ragav stands there watching her climb up... Well aware that she was crying... Feeling like a heel... He watches on with worry.

Di where are you... Missing you babes... You have disappeared!
