Chapter 15

Kalpi gets numb hearing raghav words... She looks at raghav and then opens her mouth to say something but words got struck in her throat... She failed to say anything... Slowly she raised her hand and cups raghav cheek and nods her head in a NO... Tears started flowing from her eyes...

K: N No th this ca can't b be tru true... She managed to say... She then continues...

K: I know you are just making me fool .. I know this is not true... Now you will say that you were just testing my trust... raghav I trust you so now stop this drama ok...

raghav felt as if someone has pierced 1000 of needles in his heart... He felt miserable seeing kaalpi in this condition... But he has to face today... He has to face her... He has to face the truth.. Biggest truth of their life... He has to face the truth of that night which changed their life for forever...

He looks at kalpi with tears in his eyes too and says...

R: kalpi this is true that I was not drunk that night and I was the one who has sent those pictures... I wanted to break your and prem marriage But...

But kalpi stops him by putting her palm in front of him and gets up from his lap...

R: kalpi... raghav too gets up from the bed...

Kalpi started walking backwards and says...

K: You you were not drunk that night... You sent you sent those photos... Those photos which proved me characterless... You wanted to break my marriage with prem...

R: kalpi listen to me...

But kalpi didn't hear anything... Her mind was just remembering his words and then she was getting all the images of her wedding day when she was humiliated in front of everyone...

Tears were rolling continuously from her eyes... She was finding it hard to digest the fact that raghav her raghav did this...

Her back hits the wall and she stood their staring at raghav... After few minutes she spoke...

K: Why raghav why you did this...

She then holds his shirt and shouts...

K: Tell me raghav tell me why why you played with me why...

raghav walks close to her... He was about to cup her cheeks when kalpi shrugs his hand and says...

K: NO DON'T TOUCH ME...

R: raghav I know I have hurt you... But listen to me once ... I did all that...

K: enough... Leave me alone...

R: kalpi...

K: I said leave me alone raghav... Please...

raghav didn't move from their... He wanted to tell kalpi the whole truth and after that he was ready to take any punishment... So he tried again...

R: kalpi please listen... That night...

But kalpu was in no mood... She was feeling betrayed... She has trusted raghav more than herself and today that trust was broken into pieces...

Kalpi again stops him and says...

K: raghav please leav...

But before she could complete her sentence she falls unconscious in his arms...

raghav pats her cheeks...

R: kalpi...
open your eyes...

He picks her in his arms and puts her on the bed and sprinkles some water over her face but that didn't help... So he called the doctor... Doctor visited them and injects kalpi and says that she will gain consciousness in an hour...

raghav nods his head and thank doctor... doctor left from their... raghav sat beside kalpi holding her hand and kissing her palm saying...

R: I know I have done wrong but at least give me a chance to tell you the reason...

He then caresses her forehead and kisses her and walks out of the room ..

raghav was restless outside the room... He has called sammy and asked him to start collecting evidence from the start and also to make sure that this thing is kept only to him as they don't know who can be working for prem... He thought that kalpi needs sometime to register the fact...

Kalpi opens her eyes after sometime... She looks around and was trying to register why she was sleeping at this hour when she remembers everything...

Suddenly she sits on the bed hugging her knees... Tears again started spilling from her eyes... She gets images of their love making... then next morning how raghav consoles her... Their marriage day when everyone accused her... Where her character was chopped into pieces...

She screams loudly and says...

K: Why raghav why... Why you did this...

She then remembers all the moments spent with him after their marriage...

She brushed her thoughts and says..

K: lie all lie...

She kept crying for hours like that...

After an hour raghav walked back towards his room thinking that kalpi might be conscious by now... He turned the lock and gets shock to find it lock from inside...

He knocks the door but no one opens the door... He shouted kalpi name but kalpi didn't respond... He can hear her sobs but he was helpless... He shouted from outside... He begged kalpi to open the door and listen to him once but all in vain...

He sits near the door waiting for kalpi to open it... Finally after another hour kalpi opened the door...

raghav smiles and gets up and says...

T: kalpi... you you ok...

But gets shock the next moment to see kalpi holding a bag...

R: kalpi this...

Kalpi avoids looking at raghav and says...

K: raghav I don't want to live with you... I am leaving this house forever...

raghav nods his head in a no and says..

R: No kalpi please don't do this...

Kalpi controls herself from breaking and says...

K: I cant raghav... I cant...
She walks out and started walking towards the door when raghav pulled her to himself... She lands on his chest...

R: No kalpi I will not let you go...
I'll not leave u till u not listen me
After landing on his chest she remembers her last night in his embrace when she felt as if this is the best place on the earth but today everything changed... She pushed him hard and says...

K: No Mr singhania today you can't force me as today I am in my senses... I am not drunk today...

R: kalpi... He cried hearing her accusation...

This was the last thing he wanted to hear from kalpi...

But kalpi didn't pay attention and walked out of the house... raghav runs after her but she took the auto as it was standing just outside their gates... raghav was little late to reach out but he gets into the car and started following kalpi... He was calling her continuously but kalpi was not picking up the call...

Kalpi and raghav both were crying... raghav was continuously calling her and was driving at a very high speed... And before he could overtake an auto he lost his control and then BANG!!!!! A speeding truck hit his car...

Kalpi asked to stopped the auto and walks out of the car rushing towards his car screaming...

K: RAGHAV!!!!!!

raghav was lying on the road with blood all around... Kalpi picks his head in her arms and says...

K: raghav raghav get up...

raghav opens his eyes and looks at kalpu... He raises his hand and cups her cheek and says...

R: I I love you kalpi... Please Please forgive me for everything...

Kalpi kiss his palm and nods her head...

K: raghav nothing happen to u

raghav smiles and then wipes her tears...

R: ssshhh... take care
He closed his eyes and his hand fell on the ground...

Kalpi screams loudly...

K: raghav!!!!!!

K: raghav!!!!!

Kalpi pats his cheeks and says..

K: raghav Get up raghav Please

She then puts her palm on his heart and relief spread on her face as his heart was still beating'. She again started shaking him'

K: raghav please get up

But raghav didn't respond She then screamed for help and few people came rushing to her' At first they were reluctant as this was the accident case but after continuous pleading from kalpi they agreed and they helped kalpi to put raghav in one of their car' They rushed to the hospital and kalpi called sammt and asked him to reach the hospital as early as possible

After few minutes they reached the hospital and kalpi was happy to see sammy already at the hospital' He had completed all the formalities and was standing on the gates with the ward boys'.

They took raghav inside with kalpi holding his palm .
Doctors looked at raghav and decided to operate him'. They took him to the OT with kalpi leaving his hand with a heavy heart'.

Doors of operation Theatre got close and kalpi was just staring blankly at the door' sammy walked to kalpi and says..

S: bhabhi

Kalpi looks at him and says..

K: sammy he will be ok haina.
I don't want to loose my raghav

S: Don't worry bhabhi he will be perfectly fine.
But this how

Kalpi remembers everything and closed her eyes and says

K: all this is because of me I am the culprit' I' But her words struck in her throat as more tears rolled down on her cheeks'.

Sammy made her sit on the chair outside the OT and gives her a glass of water' He then decides to not ask any more question as kalpi was not in the good state

Accident news spread like a fire and jadhav and singhania were in shock to hear the news' Both the families rush to the hospital' raghav was still in OT and kalpi was sitting on the same chair where sammy made her sit and she was crying continuously'

Kamala walked to kalpi and keeps her hand on her shoulder' kalpi looks up and then hugs her mother with a force and says..

K: aai raghav
Kamala too had tears in her eyes seeing the state of her daughter She caresses her back and says..

Km: Yes beta nothing will happen to your raghav He will be alright soon'

Gauri and vitthal watches the scene and they too had tears in their eyes' It was true that gauri were angry on raghav and kalpi but she still love raghav her own son and kalpi as their daughter'. Gauri walks to kalpi and caress her hairs and says..

G: beta everything be fine soon
Kalpi looks at gauri and hugs her and cried on her shoulders

Prem was watching everything and an evil smile spread on his lips and he thinks "Poor kalpu. But aise accident k baad its really very hard to survive'. I think bappa is on my side in this task"

He then changes his expressions to sad and walks towards kalpi and everyone and a stand waiting for the door of OT to get open' sammy who was pissed with his presence was clenching his fist in anger' He wanted to strangle prem neck for everything he has done with kalpi and ragha . But right now he cant do anything as he was waiting for raghav..

He was in his thoughts when OT door opened and doctor walked out'

Kalpi who was sitting on the chair with her head on gauri shoulder instantly gets up and rushes to the doctor followed by everyone

K: Doctor how is raghav

Doctor looks at kalpi and smiles and says..

D: Congratulations Mrs singhania operation is successful' Your husband is out of danger now'. He is really a lucky man I guess because surviving such kind of accident is not so easy..

Tears started rolling down from kalpi eyes but this time they were out of happiness... Her raghav.. Her raghav was perfectly alright'. She thanked her bapp for this' Other members too get happy and smiled except prem who was fuming'. But he smiles as others were around' kalpi then ask doctor if she can meet raghav to which doctor replies that they will be shifting raghav to special room and then she can meet him'

K: Tum..

P: So happy na bhai is alright

K: yes

S: hmm really kalpi you have a great heart.. I was so idiot to let you go. After all this u have forgiven bhai so easily'.

K: Please prem I don't want to talk about those things now

P: Hmm I can understand' But seriously bhai is really very lucky to have you' He did such a huge mistake' He played with your character' He humiliated you in front of everyone' He proved you characterless in front of everyone and still you have forgiven him' Seriously kalpi you really have a big heart

Saying this prem left from their kalpi stopped on her spot thinking about prem words'. She was still in her thoughts when sammy called her and says

S: bhabhi raghav is shifted to the room' You can go and meet him

Kalpi nods her head and started walking to the room' While taking each step she was getting images of their night, his words the next morning, her wedding altar, those photos, taunts which she got from everyone'.and then prem words'

She stopped on the door and looked at raghav. He was lying on the bed with his eyes closed as he was still unconscious

Jadhav and singhania were already in the room and were happy to see raghav out of danger' Their eyes fell on kalpi and prwm smirk seeing kalpi lost' He was sure that kalpi was thinking about his words.
Finally he was getting successful in his mission'. For sometime he thought that he will be failed because of this accident but then he played his another trick after all he was prem how he can loose'..

Kamala looks at kalpi and walks to her and says

Km: kalpi see your raghav is perfectly fine now.
doctor said he will gain his consciousness in few hours'. And all this is because of your love

Kalpi looks at her aai and then again at raghav and then she remembers how he was trying to say something to kalpi which she didn't hear in her anger' How he was asking her to listen to him once' How she ignored his pleads and walks out of the house making him follow her' And then this accident'..

She then remembers his words'..

"I love you kalpu. Please please forgive me for everything' " take care"

She comes out of her thoughts and walks close to raghav and caress his cheeks and a smile crept on her lips' prem fumes seeing this and everyone looked with awe expressions.
Kalpi then sits on the chair pulling it close to the bed'. She holds his palm in hers and place a kiss on it

Other members moved out of the room as doctor didn't want rush in raghav room' prem was pissed as again his plan was backfired' But he was not ready to give up' He started making other plan and sammy who has heard prem talk with kalpi was happy to see kalpi with raghav He wanted to tell everything to kalpi at the same time but he didn't as he wanted raghav to say everything and he was now sure that kalpi will trust raghav on this matter'..

Now only raghav and kalpi were in the room'

Kalpi bends down and place a kiss on his eyes and says'.

K: I love you' I love you a lot raghav

She then cupped his cheeks with both hands and says

K: I want to start a new life with you... I can't loose you as I love you a lot and I also know that you too love me' and I am sure u did this bcoz of some reason
i reacted badly' I should have listened to you' But now everything will be fine'

Kalpu was still speaking to raghav when suddenly she felt some movements'.

raghav was gaining his consciousness and was trying to say something'

R: ka kalpi

Kalpi tightens her grip on his hand and says

K: raghav I am here' I will always be with you..

Slowly raghav opens his eyes and looks at kalpi. He smiles looking at her and then caress her cheeks with the same hand which was in kalpi palm'.

R: Kalpi

K: haan raghav

R: I I am sorry'. I

K: Sshhh raghav

Kalpi hugged him tight and says

K: I I love you raghav You don't know what I went through after your accident' Who told you to follow me'.

raghav caresses her back and says

R: kalpi I..

Kalpi gets up suddenly and says

K: I kya haan' What do you think of yourself'

raghav was happy to see kalpi so much concern for him' But at the same time he was shock to see kalpi talking to him with so much love even after knowing the truth'.

R: kalpu I am sorry' but..

Kalpi cuts him and says..

K: sshhh don't say anything We will talk about this at home' Now just take rest

R: But kalpi

K: Fir but' Do you want me to leave you again

raghav looks at her and says

R: That will be the last day of my life

Kalpi keeps her palm on his mouth and says

K: Never say that again' and raghav I promise I will never leave you'. I don't know why you did those things but I know one thing and wo yeh hai that my raghav loves me a lot and if he had done those things then there must be a reason and I am ready to hear that reason raghav

raghav smiles and pulls kalpi on his chest and says

R: Thanks a lot kalpi...
