Ignore the grammatical typos ...have typed this 1 in quite a hurry.

& mind you ..this 1 is small. Eh ! Don't worry i have started typin the next 1 already. Just that ...the emotional context of this part & the one coming ahead are different...if presented together , one is bound to be ignored. So i have broken 1 chapter into 2 Coz of which now...5th shot will be named 'The walk'😃😃

4th Shot - The Sister ...

"Bloody downmarket people ! Not even bothering to apologise."

"Fetch this woman immediately or consider the deal to be cancel..."

" I will make you pay for this ...& mind u , this time it will be worser than an apology in front of an entire crowd...& I promise u that. "

Such were the 'Raghav Singhaniya-original' words that were echoing in Kalpana's ears as she saw his retreating figure head towards the guest room. How she wished she could hold onto his god damn neck & strangle it bad (tum log ka Pata Nahi , but I imagined it & it seemed super funny😛)...if not that , he surely deserved a earful from her.

Her eyes then fetched Prem's dark brown ones. They had guilt in them, a look similar to the one she had seen in the conference room in the morn. That very sight saddened her. This was somethin she never wanted to see in her life ever, she had always protected Prem , Rohish & Paakhi from every trouble that had come their way. She had always been that barrier since childhood. But today ?? ... Some random guy comes in their life ,threatens Prem, literally gets him onto his knees , makes him plead in front of an entire crowd & what did she do ? She apologized to him...If he wouldnt have been Raghav Singhaniya, well speaking more precisely 'Prem's client' Kalpana would not have hesitated to teach the arrogant man a lesson.. (With this chunk of writing I wish to clarify Kalpana's character ...wherein she is more hurt coz of Prem's insult than her own)

With the silence yet hanging up in the air, Kalpana continued to stare at a conscience-stricken Prem. Not able to bear that sight any longer she shut her eyes trying to give all the thoughts whirling within a conclusion "& what did I do ? I walked out of the room today , leaving Prem all alone to deal with that awful man. Even when I knew that this is his 1st major project without Sahil Uncle ...I left him ! Even after me knowing Prem's slight timid nature ...I summoned him so rudely today, as if all this were his fault (referring to the unison wala 'Prem !!' scene)"

(The above scene seems to be a long 1 , but it lasted for just a few seconds. U see...I am learning to limit my words ...but I always end up exaggerating stuff😕)

"I am the worst sister in the world ! " was the only statement that came to her head that second.

"Kalpi Di ...u r the worst sister in the world "

That furious but familiar voice broke Kalpana's chain of thoughts as she turned around. There stood Rohish, his face red with anger.

He almost yelled repeating the words "U r the worst sister in the world."

Kalpana inhaled deeply before exhaling all of it out , her chest shuddering in the very process...with shock, trauma but mostly pain !

"You cancelled my tickets to Kashmir !! Kalpi Di ...I was waiting for this 1 chance like for my entire lifetime...I wanted to showcase my photography skills , I wanted to prove myself to everybody , to this Prem , to that piggy ,I wanted to make a mark of my own , I wanted to try & earn a living by working on something I am good at ...so henceforth nobody can call me Nikamma (jobless [in a harsher way]) , point fingers at you for not raising me well, not pity us coz we are orphans..." said an anxiously furious Rohish in 1 single breath.

"I wanted to make -make ...you proud !" were the words that escaped Rohish's mouth in a low whimper before continuing in his angry voice

"& what did u do ? Snatch that chance ...the chance of being an assistant to XYZ (assume any gr8 photographer) ...I wud have learnt so many things...I wud have been a photographer. But no...no...no..no...NO ...my sister has a problem ! Even here ..."

Every word of Rohish was scarring Kalpana to death in her already weak frame of mind.

" Rohish can't swim ...can't go for treks with his friends ...he can't do this , he can't do that ...you ought to have a problem with everything , dont u ? " his eyes furious as ever.

"Rohi..."Those words of Prem were cut short when Rohish gave him the 'dare-u-interrupt' look. Writhing in the pain of his shattered dreams Rohish resumed

" Why just this ...Slightly messed up rooms -u have a problem , someone disrupts ur schedule -u have a problem, someone disturbs ur sleep-u have a problem , someone makes even a minute error in work-u have a problem, loud music - u have problem , parties-u have problem...in short ..other people staying happy, people trying to live a life unlike ur robotic 1 & chasing their dreams -u have a god damn problem !!"

A momentary silence fell upon the room before Rohish growled his last words

"But u know what kalpi Di ...what's your biggest problem ...ur biggest problem is tat u think only & only about yourself. U-r-so-self centred !!"

Chattak !! (k ...isse pehle I used to write sattak or slap for such scenes. But after reading Rishu's chatak chatak fun post ...I just cannot imagine anything else😆😆😛) Kalpana slapped Rohish hard across his face. The girl had seen, heard & faced a lot in life ...but this was unbearable for her. Biting back the tears that threatened to roll down she ordered in an authoritative tone

"In your room now !" as she pointed the door to Rohish's room. In the hurt of his stingy cheek or in the daze of his unintentional outburst , he quitely marched towards his room. His jowl ruby-red...

"Prem its getting late, take the Singhaniyas from here asap. & 1 more thing ...u r not to be blamed for any of the things that happened today. So I am not angry on u ...not even a bit. Let's just forget today's day" she said monotonously before heading to her room & enclosing herself in its darkness .

There from that side came Raghav & his family. "Let's go Mr. Kapoor ! " Prem nodded.

Prem quickly glanced at the door that separated himself from kalpi "Today Kalpana wasn't hurt...nor an independent woman , but today a sister was hurt , actually THE sister was hurt"

With these thoughts Prem exited the apartment half-heartedly ..he knew KAlpana needed him, but alas !!

Ummm...i know ...a non-ragna chapter !! Frankly speaking even i get pissed off when i dont get to read ragna...but then this was crucial . 😉😉
