Rags is in la la land. He's actually enjoying Kalpi welcoming him home. That guy is so much in love that he forgot she's his fake wifey. Kalpi is something else. She's got her priorities right. Even though she cherishes this newfound friendship she doesn't harbour any other feelings for him. Hence she immediately corrected that she's not Kalpana Raghav Singhania but Kalpana Yadav. She's a tough nut to crack. So sweet of Raghav to offer to cook. Chef Rags is so cute. Loved how she's helping him as well. He was ok till his fake wife started praising Sammy. He forgot that it's his best friend and he's soon to be married. Jealous Raghav had taken over. Poor guy, he's hopelessly in love!

Part 8a

Almost 5 months passed by with Raghav & Kalpana becoming more & more comfortable with each other. Though they kept fake fighting in front of their family, backstage they were getting closer & closer. They had now begun to share their thoughts & happenings of the day with each other. For Kalpana Raghav was just a friend, but for him it wasn't so. He tried hard to control & tame his increasing emotions for her, but all in wain. They were getting stronger day by day due to her simplicity & pure hearted nature. He realised so when their interactions increased.

One day Raghav was busy working in his office when his phone buzzed. It was a message from Kalpana. It read " Today its my chance to cook. What do u want to have ? !! " A smile spread on his face when he read that. Though since their jhagda party this text was received by him on all alternate days , but a smile was brought to his lips each time. The remaining alternate days used to be his chance to cook. One common factor 'food' had ended up forming a bond between the 2. He was yet smiling when Sammy barged into his cabin

S : What was Gauri aunty telling me Raghav... U fought with bhabhi again ?? Since the past 1 month I have been receiving calls from her about u fighting with k.

R : (hiding that smile with fake seriousness)Chuck it Sammy... I don't want to speak about that female. U tell , how was ur 1 month business trip. How are things going in USA.

The doubt Sammy was having increased when he saw Raghav changing the topic. He was finding something or the other fishy ... But what ??

S : Here I'm asking u abt bhabhi & u r changing the topic. Gauri aunty has specifically told me to talk to Ull. So u want it or not, I'm coming today at ur residence ..

R : & what if I don't permit u ? It's my house & I have the rights to decide who can come & who can't ...

S : Don't forget Raghav it is bhabhi's house as well. & she has permitted me to come. She is not like u ...ulta she was very happy that I was coming today. Learn something from her, she even invited me for dinner.

A wave of jealousy ran across Raghav's body. Though He wasn't the jealous types ... But the fact that Kalpana wasn't yet rightfully his was troubling his subconscious mind somewhere. She just had that name Raghav Singhaniya after hers, but he had no rights on her...& hence the insecurity.

R : I shall speak to her, but u aren't coming...understand !!

S : Raghav ...mere dost ... Invitation once given can't be returned , reframed or cancelled. So I'm coming & thats final. Dare stop me, & my phone will automatically dial Paakhi's no. Then be ready to get a earful.

S POV : I know there is some secret behind this marriage of urs & that's why u don't wanna call me. I shall definitely solve this mystery, u want it or not Mr. Raghav Singhaniya. & it starts today onwards (smirks)

Sammy was right about the secret but not the reason for which Raghav was refraining him to come to his house. The true reason was the insecurity which he was feeling.

It was evening , Raghav was driving back home after giving Sammy as much work as possible so he might drop his plan of coming. He now begun to remember what Kalpana had once said abt Sammy.

R POV : So , wht did she say that day. Sammy's smart... Naa , I'm smarter!! Then she had called him cute ... Toh kya , cute toh usne mujhe bhi bola tha.

Unbelievable, a guy who always preferred hearing handsome & hot for himself was today cherishing on being called cute. & that to from a person who was nobody to him 5 months back & was now coincidentally his wife

R POV : & she thinks ...he is funny & friendly?? (a long pause) But I'm not funny & friendly!!

With the same thoughts he finally reached home. He rang the bell, she opened the door.

R : (trying to sound as jolly as possible)Hello Kalpana ... How was the day of this beautiful lady ?? Oh ... What kindda question I'm asking, ur 1 smile has the capability to change a bad day in a good 1. So din toh accha hi jaana tha !!

Kalpana was staring at him with a 'what-do-u-think-u-r-doing' look on her face. & then she burst out laughing. Bechaara Raghav was feeling embarrased

K POV : (yet laughing) Are u f9? Y are u speaking like Sammy ? I have met him only twice, but I know its his style of talking. But u ??

She started laughing even more loudly as she walked to the kitchen to check the food.

An embarrassed Raghav literally rushed to his room. Sometime later Raghav heard a knock at his door. It was Kalpana.

What will happen at dinner when Sammy arrives ?Will Sammy be able to figure out his friend's secret ? When will Raghav acknowledge his feelings for K ?

So ...thats all for today. Next update on the 11th as I'm having my terms & since tomorrow onwards even my travelling time will be invested in studies no update. But after my last ppr, while returning I shall pakka write 1, so do peek in on the 11th to get an update.
