Chapter-2

Guari and Paakhi playing it safe by keeping calm.Raghav turned aloof towards them.

Raghav - Finds out that the notice issued by is paakhi. He confronts her...I was expecting a even one out of a completely odd bunch..you did prove to be a wicked lass !! You just played it murkier by adding friendship tag out and wickedness inside..that is it... you will no longer be entertained , out of my sight now...and to let you know I have applied for the legal dissolation of this bloody sham and you better get accustomed to the further proceedings...even if you don't I now very well know how to get the things moving.

Paakhi - Guari aunty aren't you supporting me ?? Please put some sense into your son and make me shine out of this.

Guari - paakhi I can't make any move as of now..!!

Paakhi - what the hell aunty..I'm not gonna spare you ..do not forget we have been equally culprits.

Guari - I know it all better paakhi...you need not reiterate !! But the notice you issued was completely your ploy and now you better bare the consequences...even kamala herself couldn't proove me...I highly doubt whether Raghav will even bare a hoot towards your words..so better not mess and show yourselves way out.

Raghav - kalpi is right and never wrong...I'm such a fool...!! He gets to know about their departure from chawl and he sinks in guilt.he dails to kalpi and pleads her to meet him.

Raghav - kalpi please don't say that I already am guilt driven..and you very well know how tricky the situation was and it's just me left among you women and I couldn't figure out what's goin around..please consider my side of thoughts as well kalpi..saying that he gives a expectant look to her.

Later on i was in no mood to use her as pawn..and i realised you were my life...and yeah prior to all this I knew paakhi is deeply attracted to me and I'd advantage that against kapoors.that will be all to say kalpi.

Kalpi - what mind games were you playing Raghav..I wonder why was I so blindly in love with you..!! You the Raghav Singhania who runs a business of million buck turnover..plans revenge over a naive girl...agreed that paakhi was the only way for you to own the kapoor property...I am sorry to say that my love lessens for you today and I deny to respect you for your doings.!! And what have you achieved Raghav I don't see kapoors suffering spite their daughter's life getting ruined...ahhh why am i even saying that you riches have a mojo spell called move on and every damn thing becomes a history and you live as if no strings attached to past..wait a minute did you just say that you are very well aware of paakhi's feelings towards you then how in the world you thought she'ld let you go after a year of time...delusional much...who would give up their love Raghav...despite you know how things got transpired between me and paakhi be it the pen you gifted to me rather be it you your self . Why is it ...I have to fight for my own things with paakhi always...!! Wiping her tears away guess I am pointing a wrong question to the wrong one...anyways what's done is done Raghav I guess we should pause our relationship and give it a thought once more !!

Raghav - calm down kalpi I'm done being away from you...can't stand the distance anymore..I applied for divorce and will own you with all due pride and respect in no time soon.

Kalpi - enough Raghav ...after all said and happenings you expect me to calm down...have you losted !!!??? I never knew you were such self-centered freak...fine you want to own me why don't you go seek your mommy's permission to the impending wedding of ours !!

Raghav - kalpi I know you're hurt and trust me my love for you would outlive and over weigh all the hurt of mine to you...I promise to keep you content and satisfied come what may !!

Raghav heads to home with a moto getting his mom in terms to maary kalpi as soon as possible.

Kalpi - what are you Raghav !!! why in the world I have loved you !!!! Her predicament was such that she couldn't figure out where she was standing in the road of life...she felt completely broken after Raghav's revelation...she felt disgusted of her own self as she happened out of the blue to Raghav be it not his accidental confession would he ever accept his feelings towards me , am I his need ..?? Nothing beyond that !! Now when I look back to all our encounters I just feel trapped in his emotions for ever !! Did l mistook his need as his love to me ?? Though I mistook it's too late for me to emerge out of the emotion..had I gone weak for the void he is filling over my mother's choice of paakhi being her first priority.what hell mylord !!!! you have just put me in such forlorn state...neither can I move on nor can look back..she was self thinking and her inner conscience is leaping it's guts out that...no you aren't his need , though need what's wrong in that after all even love the emotion itself a human necessity to delve on in one's life time. Though rude and harsh right from start he always expressed concern for me and my family , he is the one who jilted me out of my failure and not to forget he is the ladder to my success apart from my family , he is there for me both in my good and bad times and now it's his bad time that's ruling him...!! Raghav you are my first love and will be my love to death I promise you that.
On that note she decides to head back home where in she faces Guari.

Guari - kalpi sorry beta fortunately I eavesdroped your conversation with Raghav. Let me do the honour of answering your questions...I owe you and your family for looking after me at my bad phase of life...I really do !! A week passes by..jadavs get into routine of there developing cafe..Raghav is ashamed to face kalpi...he even finds sammy occupied these days and shuns it off thinking it might due to work load.

Sammy - hello kalpana the fake papers are ready.it's just the pending signatures of us both...and please don't panic no body can figure out the fakeness..trust me.

Kalpi - that's a great news sammy sir...i shall see you soon bye.
Raghav it's time to make my move...I never wanted to opt a way of fakeness and most importantly never in my wildest dreams I intended to hurt you...but as the saying goes everything is fair in love and war...more over a dirty mind needs a dirty blow to get rid of the dirt...I am sorry Raghav remember whatever I do it's for our own well being...saying that she self-composes herself and awaits for the sun to rise.

Raghav -dails out to sammy for the umpteenth time...there again it goes unanswered by the recipient...he dails out to the receptionist...could you get me in with where-abouts of sammy...!!

Receptionist - sure sir.., gimme a moment to check in the dockets !!
Sir..sammy sir isnt lined up for any meetings yet he hasn't arrived.

Raghav - that's okay...amused Raghav tries to contact him on his mobile.
There he hears a knock on his cabin door !! Seeing sammy he heaves sigh of relief..Ahh !! There he comes why were you awol sammy ??

Sammy - looks a bit conscious and spits out his reason for his awol...yaar Raghav I got married...!!

Raghav - what are you serious ?? Or making some kind of odd prank on me !! With a angry stare he voice outs.

Sammy - why would I raghav knowing you I'd rather dare to even plan such !!

Raghav - so you are serious..!!

Sammy - yes I very much am !!

Raghav - whose the girl ?? Do I know her ????

Sammy - shez here waiting downstairs...let me call her in ...hello please come upstairs...hmmm there she is !!!

Raghav - jaw drops and with a shocking glance he looks at the girl whose none other than kalpi .

Raghav - he frooze to still , numb , flabbergasted , shocked !! He couldn't figure out whether is it all a mere worst dream or is it some kind of practical joke played on him by sammy !! His emotion-mix stare continues to kalpi..as he was sure never ever kalpi'd do this to him..she loves him to death, she can't do this never ever...not after the vermilion I filled her in the temple...no this is just yet my bloody hallucination...damn I'm over stressed , guess I need to rest and calm down myself around...on that note he tries to make a move !!! But the buzz of sammy's mobile drags his attention to surroundings !!!!!!!

Sammy - excuse me kalpana...gotto get this call answered it's important on that note he shows himself out...leaving behind a hurt Raghav and equally hurt kalpana.

Kalpi - she gives a assuring nod to sammy and averts her gaze towards Raghav...she prepared herself for this , yet this seemed to be toughest ever she expected...god this is so damn tough and heart wrenching ...I am so so sorry Raghav please bare me I promise this would be the first and last hurt ever I ought to give you in my lifetime...pardon me Raghav...!! With that self talk she calms herself down and masks her hurt to that of expressionless so that Raghav doesn't read her...she is very well aware of raghav's state...she decides to give him his own time to fathom what had transpired between them...she just stood gazing raghav silently praying god to give both of them enough strength .!!! Deep down shez worried of what consequences would sammy sir has to face...for the drastic step of hers ...God please don't make things worst than imagined !!!!!!

Raghav - he says kaloi for real , his face fades out as the realisation hits him hard...all this was and is true indeed...he just slumps down on the chair as if his heart was ripped hard and just couldn't balance himself...he observes kalpana from tip to toe he hadn't seen any sign of ritual ornaments ,
adorning her for a second he again thinks this isn't true but he wanted to confirm from spite knowing that she can never do this to him..with all the courage he mouths stop this kalpi...right now it isn't funny anymore...moreover I very well know you do this to me , to us ...saying that he gives an expectant look ...!!!

Kalpi - kalpi calmly places a envelope on the desk...!! Her face expressionless and expecting the worst !!!

Raghav - now what the hell is this peice of paper is all about...can't you just speak to me kalpi...he glares at her !!

Kalpi - I urge you to go through it raghav !! She puts her word with a downward glance !!

Raghav - he gets to the envelope in haste and that's it the contents of the paper make him weak , helpless and what not...you can't do this kalpi was all he could word !!

Kalpi - unfortunately I had done it raghav.. !!!

Raghav - what in the world are you saying...kalpi. ..cut the crap...and for godsake stop fooling me around and please unveil the bloody fake mask you had put on...stop it please ...I can't take it anymore !!

Kalpi - wake up Raghav...it's all for real and by the way why'd I fool you around that too at this front !!! It's all bloody real and I choose to marry your very own best friend and we did...get that straight...!! Saying it all in one go she faces her back to him as she started feeling weak already !!!!!!

Raghav - what ...!!!!????? And what made you guys to do so...I demand an explaination with all rights acclaimed kalpi...you better explain it and better be it worthy enough he said it all ferociously !! Still expecting all this to be unreal...he shouts her to spill the beans now ...right now ...!!!

Kalpi - she takes a long breath...still facing her bsck to him..Raghav I had my own reasons and I don't consider my reasons to be disclosed for you !!

Raghav - now he is pissed off...with rage in his tone...did just say that to me...come again !!!!

Kalpi - it's dragging...it should end now...on that note she faces with a strengthy masked will and words...I said it all Raghav...the truth is infront of you...whether you accept or deny it's upto you...and yeah let me make it clear it's me who went on a marriage proposal to sammy sir...he was in denial at initial but itz me who made him in terms with me and their family being already acquainted to me had no issues and so we kept the affair simple and private...I don't expect you to congratulate us least I expect from you is let all this move in a amicable way and do not judge or misbehave with your friend as he is your friend and will be till death...and I even dint word my reasons to sammy sir as well... so you better don't embarrass him with why and how...!!! Hez just being good to me and I owe him for that ...saying so she makes her move only to be caught hold of Raghav. !!!

Raghav - have you losted...!!! And what the hell are you thinking you will say so and I'd let you go ...you can't and I never will...and what's all sammy being good...kalpi I trust you to death...and you can't break it ...you better get that kalpi !!!
