Chapter 1

Morning:

Kamla was arranging the table for breakfast..The maid of their house whom they fondly call as Naina maa was helping her in breakfast..Vitthal and Pakya came down together discussing about their meeting today..They both wished Kamla and sat for the breakfast..

Vitthal:Kamla,where is Kalpi? Have she left so early?

Kamla:Ji nahi. She is in her room. Sleeping yet I think.

Naina ma interfered:Bade saab she is not sleeping. And you know what she hasn't slept whole night. She was working on her laptop. I asked to get some sleep since she was doing this for so many days.. I am really worried about her..

Kamla:Oh! God. This girl is so stubborn..Neither she eats properly nor sleeps well.. Vitthal please make your princess realize that whatever she is doing is not right.. He has fainted twice this week due to weakness.. But she never listens to others.. Such a workaholic girl!!

Soon they saw her Princess coming downstairs..Looking at the girl descending the steps anyone would say "polished without make up"..Even in her formals she looked beautiful like ever. Her dusky complexion and bright big round eyes enhanced her beauty..

Kalpi while hugging her father and brother: Good morning guys.. Okay so Mom is ready to explode now??

Kamla: How will not I? You never..

Kamla was cut short by Kalpi: I know.. I know.. Naina ma would have given her report card about me right??

Vitthal: Kalpi, but she is also right na beta?? You should take care of yourself!!

Suddenly Kalpi's phone rings: Yeah Amar.. Hmm.. Okay I am reaching there right now okay..

Kamla: Now where are you going. Sit there and have your food.

Kalpi while hugging her mother: Better luck next time mom.. Gotta go..Important work... Bye..

Kamla: But

Before she could say something else Kalpi already ran out.. She took her car keys and drove away.

Kamla:What will I do with her?? Stubborn girl..

She just smiled and concentrated on her break fast...

Night @ 3am

Kalpi came back home exhausted due to her workload..She peeped in her house with out making any noise.. She knew well the after effects of being caught by her mom at this late night.. But alas Kamla was more cunning than Kalpi.. She could read her daughters eyes listens to her heart... She knew well that Kalpi will be late as usual and waited for her to return.. As kalpi closed the front door behind Kamla turned the lights on..

Kamla folding her hands in her chest: Late again..

Kalpi: Sorry woh..

Kamla: I know.. Lot of work pending, meetings after meetings.. right??

Kalpi gave her a weak but naughty smile...

Kamla: Come have dinner..(She knew that Kalpi would protest..). Not a word more.. You are gonna have your food and sleep okay..

Kalpi gave a quick hug to her mom.. She made her eat the dinner and sleep on her lap.. Kalpi kissed her mothers hands before drifting off to sleep.. Kamla placed her daughters head on the pillow and kissed her forehead..

Kamla: I love you Kalpi..

In her sleep also Kalpi replied her mom: I love you too mom..

Kamla wiped her fresh tears and walked to her room

Kalpi kept crying and crying till she felt short of tears.. The night she thought as the most beautiful night of her life destroyed every bit of happiness of her life... She dont know how long she have been crying hugging her family photo..

Kalpi: Mom I need you now... You only told me na that this marriage is the best thing that could happen to me??.. You told me na that Raghav is my Prince??.. No Ma.. For the first time in your life you were wrong.. He don't love me.. Then why did he marry me?? Why Raghav?? Dad I wanted to have a husband like you in my life.. Who loves his wife unconditionally.. But he just hates me.. I dont know why.. What will I do now mom.. Tell me pls..

She kept crying hugging the photo or sometimes talking to her Mom in the photo... She dont know when she drifted off to sleep... To end a dark night and to watch a new sun rise to the truth...

Is the first part a flashback? or is she already married and separated from Rags?
