She was driving and thinking about Pakhi's word. So what if he loved her that does not mean he could abandon her or accept her as per his wish. She was a human too. He had played with her feeling and broken all her dreams. She had promised herself never to dream again. Her mother's dream was hers now. She reached the meeting venue to find Sammy and the Sponsor already there. Let's start the meeting' Sammy said. Before the sponsor could ask for Raghav, Sammy added Raghav is unable to join us. He is not well'. Though they were busy discussing the budget of her dream project her mind kept on wandering about Raghav. Last night when she last saw him he was fine. She was hoping him to be fine. She wanted to enquire about him from Sammy but could'nt. I don't want Sammy to assume things that are not true. I don't care for him' she muttered.
After the meeting Sammy called up Gauri to inform that he had told Kalpana about Raghav exactly the way she wanted. Gauri disconnected the call and asked Raghav to wait for Kalpi's call now. She was sure that Kalpi still cared about him and wanted Kalpi to realise this. He just sat on his bed waiting for his sweetheart to call him.
She could not concentrate on any work. The more she tried to hush Raghav's thought the more they were haunting her. She was worried about him. Negative thoughts came running to her mind over and over again. She finally dialled his number but he was not picking up her call. At the same time Raghav was arguing with his mother who had his phone and was stopping him from answering it. It was her seventh call when Gauri allowed him to answer. 'Hello' he said clumsily.
'What is this Mr Singhania. At first you don't show up for an important meeting and then you don't pick up my call at the moment of urgency. This is sheer carelessness on your part.' She said and went on and on. Raghav was enjoying this conversation and smiling realising that she was worried for him. What's the matter Kalpi? Why did you call me?' He asked trying to change the topic. She was wordless and she had no excuse for this act of hers. 'Your negligent behaviour has spoilt my day. We will discuss about this later' she said and disconnected the call with a big sigh of satisfaction. She was feeling relieved but was unaware whether it was because he was fine or because she just managed to escape an awkward conversation.
Raghav picked up his mother and twirled her around expressing his happiness. They both were laughing and could not control their happiness. This was Gauri's plan to know whether kalpi still loved Raghav or not before she started her mission to unite them. She was pleased to know her children were wholly in love with each other. Raghav was now more resolute to break the wall of separation between them. He decided to visit Sammy as he needed his help to arrange an informal meeting (better say a "date") with Kalpi.
He reached Sammy's place and found the main door open so just barged inside. He found Sammy and Pakhi in a tight embrace and was left shaken. 'Raghav' Pakhi said releasing herself from Sammy. Sammy turned around to face Raghav and was trying to gather courage to explain him everything. This was not how he had intended to convey Raghav and was hoping him to be in a good mood. 'We love each other' Pakhi said and held Sammy's hand to reveal Raghav that they were together. There was a moment of silence where nobody was sure what was coming next. 'I do not want to make the same mistake of losing my love as you Raghav. I cannot live without Pakhi Sammy added only to find Raghav laughing aloud. I am so happy for you two' he said hugging them.
He never had the courage to tell Pakhi that he loved Kalpi. He thought that will be too harsh on the innocent girl who already had to face the wrath of his revenge. Today after knowing that she was ready to move on he decided to tell her everything. 'Pakhi, I am really sorry for using you as ploy in my revenge game. I know I should have told you back then I could not. I have always loved only one girl in my life and that is why I could not accept our relationship.' He said and was trying to gather more words. Kalpi is a very lucky girl. She got your love even when she was far from you. I tried but I could never take her place in your heart. I had known about kalpi after our divorce. I knew you will never love me because Kalpi is a gem. We should forget the past and move on Raghav. I forgive you' Pakhi said.
Those words were like magic to Raghav's ears. He had always dreaded this conversation and today it happened so smoothly. He had never imagined Pakhi to accept the truth so effortlessly. 'I will talk to Kamla Maa about your wedding today only' Raghav said. He had to clean up the mess he had created in the past. Don't forget to mention my name as Pakhi's groom during your talk with kamla Maa' Sammy chuckled and reminded him. All three laughed lightly at the misunderstanding that was created last time. I won't repeat any mistake that I did last time' Raghav reassured them and left.
