Hello you lovely people! Thank you very much for your encouraging comments and likes! I'm back with a slightly longer update on the first part of RagNa's Mumbai darshan! 😊 I do hope you all will like it. So here's chapter 5:
Chapter 5
Kalpana woke up the next day with a smile plastered to her face. Yes, she had visited Mumbai a few times with her parents as a child but those memories were now blurry. She couldn't wait to explore the city of dreams with Raghav. Just the thought of spending the day with him gave her goose bumps. There was something different about the famous Raghav Singhania. Underneath all the fame, was a very humble and genuine person who didn't care about any status and had a lot of passion for the game of cricket. That was one of the first few things she had noticed and liked about him.
Not wanting to be late, Kalpana quickly got out of bed to get dressed. As she had no intention of wasting time in picking her outfit in the morning, she had done so the night before. And to be honest, she was very pleased with her choice. After going through her entire wardrobe, she had settled for a basic button down coral blouse and jeans together with a pair of white sneakers. Tying her hair up in a ponytail, Kalpana was all set.
As she exited the building, she was surprised to find Raghav leaning against his car, waiting for her. Dressed in a black polo t-shirt and jeans, Raghav was looking debonair. "Hey there handsome!"- Kalpana said teasingly as she approached him. Raghav gave her a warm smile before opening the door for her.
They drove in silence for a few minutes before Kalpana asked," Actually Raghav, if you don't mind, before we start exploring the city, can we make a quick trip to the Siddhivinayak mandir?" Her request caught Raghav by surprise. While Raghav himself had no interest in going to the temple, he couldn't bring himself to say no to Kalpana. "Haan, kyun nahi."- Raghav replied nodding his head.
Once they were at the temple, Kalpana began making her way inside before she realized that Raghav was not with her. She turned around and saw that he was still seated inside the car. "Tum nahi aa rahe?"- she asked. "Nahi, mera aur inka equation milta nahi hai. Tum darshan karke aa jao. I'll wait for you here only." Kalpana had so many questions to ask but she decided against it and with a quick smile, made her way inside.
Raghav's POV:
I'm sorry Kalpana. I know you must be finding my decision weird and you probably have many questions for me, but some things are better left unsaid. Joh baat main apni mom se nahi share kar pata, woh kisi aur se kaise karu.
Kalpana's POV:
Bhagwan ke darshan karne se bhi koi mana karta hai bhala. Aisi bhi kya naraazgi. Maybe one day you'll trust me enough to share your feelings. After all, what are friends for? Friends? Is that what we are? Is that all I want to be? Who knows what the future has in store...
"Hungry?"- Raghav asked as they left the temple grounds. It was almost lunch time and Kalpana was famished. Kalpana immediately nodded her head just as her stomach grumbled. Both started laughing as Kalpana's stomach had given the answer on her behalf. "Wait here!"- Raghav ordered as he left the car and made his way across the road. He returned 10 minutes later with a bag of food. "I hope you like paneer cause Bademiya's paneer baida roti is the best in town"- Raghav declared. Seeing the excitement on Kalpana's face, he knew he had made the right choice.
As they made their way towards Marine Drive, Kalpana switched on the radio and the soulful voice of Kumar Sanu filled the car.

Kalpana could feel Raghav's deep dark brown eyes staring at her but she looked away and pretended to be interested in the scenery outside.

Raghav wasn't sure if it was the song's effect or what he was feeling, but for some reason he just couldn't take his eyes off Kalpana. He knew he wasn't suppose to feel this way. He had a girlfriend for god's sake! Aisa kya tha Kalpana mein that he forgot all about Pakhi whenever he was with her? Why was he always thinking about Kalpana when it was Pakhi he was suppose to be thinking about. A girl he had only met a week ago had begun taking over his mind and heart and Raghav knew he had no control. Maybe this is what being in love felt like. Did that mean what he felt for Pakhi wasn't love? Raghav shook his head in utter confusion and tried focusing on the road ahead.

A mix of emotions was running through Kalpana as she felt the intensity of the situation. She fidgeted in her seat unable to look at Raghav. Unaware of her own feelings, surrounded by silence, at that moment, Kalpana just couldn't wait to get out of the car.
Just as Raghav pulled up near Marine Drive, Kalpana quickly got out of the car and Raghav too followed quietly wondering how much more stranger the day was going to get...
