Sammy and Raghav in car moving towards the Raghav's flat.

S: AAAH, the smell of Mumbai, the roasted corn, the chai, the mud and girls. There is no place as home.

R (smirking): Yeah and their chappals (sandals) which are going to nest in your head soon.

S: I wonder sometimes if you my friend or enemy. Hey, why you taking the longer route? Are meeting someone...maybe a childhood friend, maybe a girl, maybe Kalp...or Pakh...

Raghav gives a deadly look to Sammy.

S: What? Just asking where we going and stop staring at my face people might question the extent of our friendship. Raghav chuckles slightly and utters 'tu bhi na Sammy? I just wanted to glance at my dad's chawl, his life's last building. Sammy nods in silence. They halt outside the chawl and Sammy admires a girl dressed in rich western outfit rushing on stairs and wonders how cute she looks running, wonder how pretty she is during daylight. Raghav glances towards moon in remembrance of his dad when he hears the sweetest laughter on the roof top. It is too dark to see her face but she looks like an angel and laughs like one too. Both guys are broken from their daze when they spot Kamla and Vitthal talking earnestly and walking toward chawl. Raghav remembers when he met Kamla for first time, how motherly she seemed, how he made Kalpi smile, suddenly remembering Neetu his demeanor changes which doesn't go unnoticed by Sammy.

S: What happened I thought Kamla bai was your savior? Why do you look repulsed after seeing her?

R: Kapoors

Sammy nods and signals to leave.

RS and Companies Constructions, Kapoor Construction and other companies are invited to attend Kalpi and Pakhi's college festival before the interview process the following day. Unknown to Kapoors is the full form of RS, so they don't feel threatened.

Rahul being college elite was responsible was festival activities along with Pakhi who according to him did nothing except barking orders which her champchis listened to. She was in charge of fashion show backstage. Rahul and Juhi Ma also became close because of Kalpi and would talk on phone every once in a while. It was due to Juhi Ma, he heard what a naturally gifted excelled dance performer Kalpi was. He tries persuading Kalpi to dance but she retaliates saying her aii won't allow and Pakhi seconding that thought that Kamla Ma would be hurt if she saw Kalpi dancing. Unfortunately, destiny had other plans and on the day of festival, the main female lead broke her leg and no replacement was there. Rahul insists Kalpi to do this since he needs good reviews on public management for his film course in Masters and reluctantly Kalpi agrees, if and only if she gets to wear a mask and her name won't be announced. Rahul is all her praises.

The Function

Spotlight hits on Kalpi for her solo performance, who is wearing a silver gown with golden mask and dances with grace that would shy short to peacock dance leaving the whole audience astounded and dumbfounded. In this crowd sat Raghav, Prem and other business man who were all drooling behind the masked fairy.

R: I have never seen such a graceful performance, such purity, such rhythm and her tiny smile.

P: God, if she dances so hot, I wonder how hot she is in real life.

Principal requested much to Prem's dismay, a US return Mr. RS to give award to the best performer. Rahul announces the name 'the dancing angel'', please claim what is deserved to be yours. Kalpi still wearing a mask accepts award from Raghav. Both feel jolts of electricity as the fingers slightly (like feathers) touch. R POV: What was the feeling? Why is she still hiding and her name wasn't announced properly either? Who is she? Raghav, Focus. Look at Sahil, his smile you need to take that away. Sammy, it is all your fault, you are rubbing on me.

K POV: It felt strange when our fingers met. Who is he? Don't look up Kalpi,you already had a glance, accept award and leave. Look at Prem, you need to teach him a lesson that money doesn't make someone God.

Kalpi utters thanks without looking up and moves away quickly without giving Raghav a second glance. (This interaction was shorter than a minute and she hasn't looked at Raghav in full light).

The function goes well with applause for Rahul and Pakhi's effort on the success. Everyone inquires about the angel they saw but Rahul was the only one knowing the true identity concealed the fact from everyone, including a persistent pesky Prem.

Rahul decides to mess with Prem and says you know the girl very well.

P: shocked really who

R: yeah, she lives very close to you.

P (impatiently) : who?

R: maybe a blood relative.

P(goes to the near dustbin and pukes his gut out) POV : this is it. Last time, I attend a masquerade especially one where my sister can be. Vomits again.

R: serves you right lol while grinning ear to ear. You don't even fathom about my Kalpi.

As badly as Raghav wanted to know the whereabouts of the girl, his building size ego along with his sole mission would not let him.

At Raghav's adobe:

Sammy: Raghav, from the time you came home, you seem restless. I thought you will be like lion studying your preys Prem and Sahil.

R: hmm. Sammy, could you go for interview tomorrow?

S: Me? (shocked) and I thought you would be a bit excited to meet your bachpan walis.(childhood friends)

R: what are you talking about?

S: The fact that you had two girls fawning over you. Kalpana and Pakhi

R: shakes his head...nothing like that. Kalpi was very innocent, stubborn and hardworking; she lives with an aim to get success. Pakhi was temperamental drama queen who always wanted things that weren't hers.

S: Sorry buddy, you on your own. I got a meeting tomorrow and you don't know the details of the project and any mistake could cause Kapoor's win. Therefore, man up and face your lovelies.

Raghav throws an agitated look at Sammy who is snickering.
