During these 2 years, Sammy and Raghav get revenge for Mr. Raizada. Life is happening for them. Sammy has become a bit of his old self again i.e. fun-loving, crazy but within the constraints of maturity. Their friendship grew with each day and so did the trust. Raghav used to laugh and ponder how life is so ironic who knew the steel man RS would become friend with playboy like Sammy. Sammy tried to relieve some of Raghav's sorrow by playing pranks on Raghav but failed immensely. From setting up blind dates for Raghav (who had no idea) to locking him in room full of girls.
S: Dude, from girls, to sports cars, bikes, bands, gadgets, so many plans all for what a FORCED smile. God, where is the girl who can fix him? Stutters a dramatic Sammy.
R: pagal ho tum...I will laughwhen I get my revenge, not before that and stop hovering over me like a mother hen! Sheesh, I feel like you are turning into one.
Meanwhile in Mumbai, its college first day and both Kalpi and Pakhi are excited. Kalpi who got in such a prestigious college on scholarship was determined to fulfill her vows and this was the first step. Pakhi who was excited to display her wardrobe and be queen bee of college came running to Kamla's home for blessing.
K: Baba, I'm leaving for college.
Kamla: One second, here yoghurt for sweet day, blessing hai beta! Accept it.
K: Thanks aii, with genuine smile.
Kamla: You should smile more often, you look beautiful.
P: I know Kamla Ma, I'm beautiful, now my turn AAA.
Kalpi rolls her eye and says bye but Pakkhi offers to drive which Kalpi politely refuses saying she has to stop somewhere before.
P and Kamla: (curiously)where?
V: Kamla, Kalpi is grown girl, she must have important work. Go my princess. Be safe.
Enter Rahul Malhortra (He's rich, spoilt raised in awful home life since his dad is remarried to a young woman who is after their wealth. He is a heart throb of college and a senior with a keera of acting and making documentaries).
In front of College
Rahul POV: OMG! Poor beggars, here I'm dressed as one to make a stunning documentary and all I have got is being beaten, cursed, ridiculed; not one person offered me a smile or food. What is going to happen to the future of this country?
Kalpi, on her way to college, observes Rahul on streets and feeling bad offers her dhaba food.
R: You don't look rich; I can't accept this from you. What will you eat?
K: I believe a person's heart should be rich and by karma, I will get something good for this charity. Besides, free advice, you look young and healthy, instead of begging why don't you work ? You can work as chai wala, sabzi wala or whatever you want to be and earn self-respect.
Rahul is impressed by her lecture where she conveyed the message with such poise.
Pakhi starts laughing and says OMG you must be THE Rahul M., Kalpi he made a fool out of you. He is super rich and makes documentaries. Everyone around starts laughing at Kalpi while Rahul is fuming and Kalpi feels shy and embarrassed.
R (angrily roars): Shut up!!! Do you realize she is the only person who thought and cared for a beggar and here instead of appreciating her; you all are laughing. Rahul points towards Pakhi and says, you look rich, how come you didn't bother helping another human in need. You deserve to be the laughing stock.
P: (immensely hurt) Sorry Kalpi. I didn't mean it like that.
In the next few months, Rahul and Kalpi became very good friends. She was there for him as emotional support and tried to pacify his attitudes towards girls. Pakhi on other hand became queen bee, who had a crush on Rahul and would feel jealous of Rahul-Kalpi friendship. All the girls including Pakhi would try to buddy up with Kalpi to get in Rahul's life, fortunately both were smart to figure genuine friendship over fake effort.
K: God, you reek off girl's perfume! When are you going to get mature? Rahul smiling naughtily rubs Kalpi's face with his shoulder smothering her with the perfume. Unknown to them, some girl in her jealousy takes their picture and decides to show it to Pakhi to get brownie points (since Pakhi is queen bee). Pakhi misinterprets the picture and in rash jealousy decides to show Kamla Ma the picture to keep Kalpi at bay.
R: Any more advice? I'm meeting Sona, no wait..Sapna...no, she was yesterday's news...Samira..hmm maybe and I can drown you in her perfume too.
Kalpi makes a disgusted face and says ughh...If someone asked me, if I could be friends with such a male chauvinist and a playboy few weeks ago; I would have slapped the person.
