The two years when Sammy and Raghav are busy getting revenge on Mr. Richardson and bonding as friends. An alternate situation is occurring in India.

At Mumbai train station:

Vitthal and Pakya earnestly waiting for their packet of joy with ganda phool necklace and Pakya's friends put loud music on the cell phones for Kalpi's arrival.

Vitthal to Pakya and his friends: What are you all doing? So much noise...Meri Rajkumari will get scared. Pakya: Baba, we are saving your band baaja paisa...See your son is so accomplished. Vitthal just rolls his eyes.

In next instant, a serene girl in pink and white (Indian Attire) peaks out and smiles widely sees her baba, her horse, her quiet but understanding companion.

K: Sneaks behind Vitthal and covers his eyes...Meri chocolate or else I won't play hide and seek...

V: smiling loudly, here meri rajkumari...You have grown so beautiful and intelligent. Both share a quiet but full of emotions father-daughter hug. Both engrossed in the flashbacks of their fun times together.

P: kya baba? Am I your step son or something...forgot about me... how mean... from now on it is only Kalpi for you na. I saw your love and affection. HMMPPH

K: Uff dada, you still didn't change...same old drama queen...you should try for films or tv like acting...I'm sure you won't even need glycerin for fake tears.

All laugh and Pakya,Kalpi and Vitthal share a family hug.

K: Where is Aii? She didn't want to visit me even after 10 years? Hurt evident in her eyes. Paakhi key pass hai na, baba?

V: Now who is drama queen? She is slaving herself in kitchen making all your favorite foods. Let's go.

At Singhania Chawl:

Kamla like Vitthal said was indeed cooking Kalpi's favorite dishes and got ready for her arrival. Kalpi, Vitthal, Pakya and his friends arrive with a lot of noise and laughter. Kalpi smiles slightly at their happiness but seeing her house made her feel nostalgic. So many memories, good and sad...With her dad and brother, she always envisions happiness and comfort but when she thought of her aii, mostly she remembered Kapoor's house, her insults there from Neetu and Prem, Pakkhi's jealously, wrong accusations until she did not realize she had tears flowing from her eyes.

Vitthal seeing tears in her eyes says 'I understand, a lot have changed but always hold onto your good memories and you my rajkumari (janski ki) you are go getter. So be proud and claim what yours!''

Kalpi hugs her dad and moves onto the home. Kamla is happy to see her, does her aarti and puts black for protection against evil eye while Kalpi gets ready to take her blessing and Kamla about to give it when...

A loud screeching sound is heard

Pakhi: Kamla Ma, see what Prem bhai got me exclusively from Paris; Gucci Dress that is not launched here and starts hugging and circling Kamla.

At this moment, Kalpi withdraws her hand and feels like crying.
K POV: Kia aai? I come after 10 years and instead of hugging me, you are more interested in Paakhi's dress?

Vitthal is about to intervene the Kamla-Pakhi moment sensing Kalpi's discomfort but a phone ring...Kalpi's phone in the SECOND minute.

Juhi on phone: Meri laddo ki puriya, doodh ki guriya, mer cheeni ki chamciya did you reach home safely?

K: Hearing this bursts out laughing and utters Ma, how did you know I was missing you?

J: Ma hoon tumhari Second wali mom, obviously I know...I can read your heartbeats.

K: For me you the first and second and the 100...anyways did you take medicines on time? How is everyone there? I'm missing home.

Kamla POV: Ma, whose mom? How come no one told me, VItthal and Pakya seem to know why not me? Who is she and is she a good person? Kamla comes out of her thoughts and says Kalpi you are home, this is your home.

Kalpi with a strong face: No aii, home is where you have memories and for how long, I lived here for 8 years and had memories but I lived in Punchgani for 10, so according to maths that is my home. While silently in her head thinking, where I don't have to compete for care and love to be priority.

P: Oh God Kalpi. 10 years and you are still the same BORING...I mean who care about Maths, home is where Kamla Ma is, that is it.

J: hearing all this on the other end feels like knocking bat on Kamla and Pakhi. Kalpi, beta you have a mandir in your community na, go there close your eyes and my blessings will be there.

K: Promise, Ma. Baba, I'm going to Mandir and will be right back.

J: Pinky promise!

V: but beta, listen

K: Be right back. Kalpi does pooja and is about to return when she sees an old lady carrying a lot of groceries and offers to help, which she accepts. The old lady in return gives her a Prasad saying, what an amazing mom you have, maybe you always stay strong. At that moment, Kalpi remembers Juhi Ma (her blessings and promise) and says, Yes, pray for my Juhi Ma, that she gets all the happiness in the world.

This was Kamla- Kalpi's first encounter after 10 years and they maintained a stiff, strained relationship. It was not like they didn't try to work out things but call it destiny or bad luck; Pakhi, Juhi or some other situation wouldn't let them come close. Kamla tried because she flet guilty seeing Kalpi laughing with only Vitthal, Pakya or her so called Ma but with rest of the world she was strong headed, determined woman. Kalpi tried because her Ma had asked her to do so and she still had her vow (to be a memsaab for her aii)
