Raghav thanked Kamla and her family profusely for what that had done for someone they didn't even know and happily took his mom back home, her rightful abode. Sammy was waiting impatiently for Raghav to return; little did he know was that Raghav was not coming back alone. Sammy found it strange when he heard the door-bell as Raghav has his own set of keys, but walked to door, and stood looking stunned. Raghav called out to him, requesting him to bring the prayer tray, so that he could welcome his mum back home, by doing it the way it should be done.

The lady, going forward in the story is Gauri Singhania, Raghav's mum.

Raghav could not believe his eyes, his mom was in front of him, and finally he knew the truth that his mom did not abandon him. He was curious to know what happened that led to her memory loss, and what she told him thereafter shocked him to the core. He could not believe that the Kapoor's would stoop to such a level to attempt taking another person's life for their own selfish motives. He clenched his fist in anger, and kept thinking he was going to make them pay. His thought process was interrupted when he heard his phone ring, and when he saw who was trying to call him, his anger subsided to some extent and he smiled, this reaction did not go unnoticed by his mum. He answered the phone with a smile, and greeted Kalpi, who was concerned about her ma, and Raghav was taken aback when he realised that Kalpi addresses his mom as "ma", this made him smile from ear to ear. Kalpi wanted to speak to Gauri, and Raghav obliged handing the phone to his mum. They both had a lengthy conversation, and spoke about how much they are already missing each other, Gauri adored Kalpi. Raghav just watched his mum in amazement; and wondered that Kalpi has won over even his mom's heart and that did not surprise him at all as she had the tendency to break even the coldest of people, so it would not have been difficult with his mum. The duo then concluded their conversation and said their goodbyes, and Raghav wanted to hear her voice just once more but his mom disconnected the call and a wave of disappointment spread across his face, which made Gauri understand that there was something going on between the two. After talking for hours, Raghav decided that it was time for his mum to retire for the night as she must be exhausted. She hugged her son, and told him that she loves him dearly, which made Raghav feel like he has for once been on God's "to be blessed list", considering all that he has gained recently.

Raghav went to his room after making his mom comfortable in her room, and couldn't stop thinking about the joy that Kalpi has brought into his life ever since he returned to India. He cannot imagine his life without her, and decided that he will speak to his mom regarding Kalpi. The next morning Raghav woke to a familiar aroma of his mom's special omelettes, which made him jump out of bed, freshened up and made his way to the kitchen. He was greeted by his mom's sweet smile, which he longed to see for years, and it was Kalpi that brought this happiness into his life. He could never thank her enough, although he silently thought that he would spend the rest of his life trying to show her how grateful he is to her. Gauri requested him not to do anything to the Kapoor's as they will get what they deserve, as what they do onto others, will one day be done to them. She didn't realize how true her words would turn out. All Gauri wanted was for Raghav to be happy and to do business with the utmost of self-respect and dignity as his dad had done. Gauri was sad as she was not even afforded the opportunity to mourn her husband's death because of the Kapoor's; they had removed that right of hers, by rendering her helpless.
