Part 12

Raghav turned away his face and closed his eyes at the sound of the gunshot. The man shot up at the ceiling.
Man: that was just a warning. Try and be caustic with me again and that bullet will be inside you!
Raghav: kalpi kahan hai? Aur usko torture kyun kara ja raha hai? Woh bohut delicate hai.
Man: Oye Romeo! Chup kar! Yeh tho sirf shurwath hai! Usko itna mara jaiga jab tak woh bleed nah ho!
Raghav: Magar ek marad usko kyun mar raha hai? Ek aurat sein marwao agar marwana hai!
Man: Jab ek marad marega tho aur dard hoga!
Raghav: chodho mujhe!!!
The man smirks and leaves putting a lock on the door.
Next morning
-At abandoned house
Kalpi wakes and sits up. She winces in pain by the beating she got from Sammy last night. Kalpi looks at her wounds all bandaged and says "why did he bandage me after beating me up? And...and my baby? No! My baby! What if no! No!" Sammy comes in with a tray of food to see kalpi fretting. He goes and sits down and sets the tray on the nightstand. Sammy was observing what kalpi was mumbling. Kalpi didn't notice Sammy sitting on her bed. Sammy shook kalpi.
Sammy: kalpi!
Kalpi: huh? Kya?
Sammy: Yeh breakfast karlo
Sammy handed kalpi the tray. Kalpi was to weak to eat.
Sammy started feeding kalpi with his hands. Tears brimmed in kalpi's eyes.
Kalpi: Sammy sir, aap meri itni care karthe hain. Tho aap mujhe kyun torture kar rahe hai?
Sammy: listen kalpi! There is just a reason I can't tell you for your own safety!
Kalpi: but-
Sammy: shut up!
Kalpi flinched at the sudden yelling. Sammy finished feeding kalpi and left putting a lock on the door. Kalpi sat confused.
-At raghav's captivity
The man brought a tray with food and set it in front of raghav.
Man: here. Eat this. Tujhe zinda tho rakhna hai.
Raghav knew it wasn't safe to yell at the man.
Raghav: thank you
The man left closing the door on his way out. Raghav quietly ate the food given to him. Raghav saw his mobile was hidden under a nightstand.
-At abandoned house
Sammy got a call from the man.
Sammy: hello?
Man: kalpi ko kitna torture kiya?
Sammy: bohut. Woh bohut sore hai.
Man. Great. Aaj light torture dena hai. Sirf 30 times thappad marna hai. Aur uska haath twist karna kab tak woh roh na pade.
Sammy: lekin...ok.
Sammy cut the call and went to kalpi who was playing with a little snow globe that was in her room. Sammy couldn't help but smile at her innocence.
Sammy: utho.
Kalpi: kya hua sir?
Sammy: chalo merein saath.
Kalpi: ji.
Sammy held kalpi's wrist and dragged her to a chair and tied her down and stuffed a cloth in her mouth. Sammy slapped kalpi left and right 30 times. Kalpi was crying. Sammy then took kalpi's wrist and kissed it. Kalpi was very shocked. Sammy then twisted her wrist very hard making kalpi cry even harder. Sammy untied kalpi and kalpi got up hugged Sammy still cryIng. Sammy hugged kalpi back. Kalpi reached Sammy's pocket and reached for his mobile. Sammy rubbed her back to console her. Kalpi got the mobile and stuffed it in her pocket. She then broke the hug and pretended to faint. Sammy picked up kalpi and gently put her down on the bed and left locking the door.
Kalpi got up and called someone from Sammy's phone. "Hello?" Whispered a man's voice.
Kalpi: hello? sir?
