The chawl people under Kamla's guidance and Vitthal's supervision started their protests. They first went to the building where Kapoors lived. But to their utter dismay they were brutually beaten and Vitthal and Kamla injured themselves in the process.
Here Raghav is in office and Sammy enters and was very excited "Raghav, tu yakeen nahi karega kya hua hai ". Raghav looked at him and said "Kamla bai ne Kapoors ke khilaaf jung ched di hai". The reply that Raghav gave him literally shocked Sammy "Police hoon main ya phir sarkaar ya phir fire brigade jo humesha sabki madat ko bhaagta phiroon? Aur waise bhi main acchi tarah se janta hoon mujhe kab kya karna hai". When Sammy asked about the land Raghav held his nose high and said "Jahan tak zameen ki baat hai toh vo zameen kal bhi humaari thi, aaj bhi humari hai aur aagey bhi humaari hi rahegi". Sammy smiled but he was surprised at his friend's skills "Pata nahi isse sab kuch kaise samajh aa jata hai. Yahan mujhe apna personal E24 bana rakha hai aur dekho toh pehele se hi janab ne sab kuch predict kar liya hai." Raghav looked at a surprised Sammy and smile "Accha chal ek aur prediction karoon?" Sammy was brought out from his thoughts and asked "Ab kya predict karenge aap Maharishi Raghav Baba?". Raghav laughed at his antics while Sammy gave a cute smile. "Agar uss chawl mein kisi ke paas thoda sa bhi dimaag hoga toh vo bohot jald mujhe dhoodhtey hue aayega...tumhare paas." Sammy could not help but ask "Arey kaun aayega jab koi jaanta hi nahi ki tu Raghav hai?" Raghav denied answering this question of his and just said "Wait and watch Sammy just wait and watch".
Here Kamla and other chawl people continue with their protests but to no avail. That night Kamla got a new idea and was very sure that it would definitely work. Next day all the people in the chawl were flabbergasted seeing Kamla leaving for work. Manda confronts her on the same "Lo bhai humein ladne ko kehe kar khud kaam par jaa rahi hai?" Kamla simply ignores her and moves, when the chawl people says that the rich people will think that we can't survive without them that is when Kamla turned all smiling and said "Bilkul sahi. Agar humein kaam ki zaroorat hai toh unhe bhi kaam waalon ki zaroorat hai. Main toh kaam par nahi jaaungi par mujh ek se kuch nahi hoga. Hum sabko kaam bandh karna padega. Kya hum sab saath hain?"All thought for a while and agreed that Kamla is indeed right. At that very moment along with the chawl people all other poor people left their work places and joined hands in the protests. Starting from drivers to watchman to baais, all left their work and the rich people were left at their worst conditions. All the society people went to Kapoors and asked them to either sort out the matter as soon as possible or leave the building right away. Thus step one had been achieved successfully . Now the Kapoors were really worried and needed to take a drastic step and that to as fast as possible,
On the other hand Pakhi and Kalpi kept a challenge on the first position of the exam and the prize was none other than Kamla.
