Totally agree with you. Good character is what makes one beautiful. Skin colour is only pigmentation not beauty.

The girl playing pakhi has beautiful hair and good body with height and all that.
But she doesn't have a pretty face acc to me.
Whereas kalpi has pretty eyes, but her makeup doesn't go well with her skin which makes her look average!

And this is correct for someone playing a poor girl from a poor family. If her make-up etc was perfect then the questions would be how come she can afford such good make-up. So the character is being protrayed correctly even in term of her make up. Just as her clothes also fit her character. She is not dressed to the nines.

I do like pakhi better than Kalpi character wise. I could understand kalpi seeking mother's attnetion as a child. But a grown up kalpi should know the reason and fact of her mom's sacrifice. And even though se may be upset with her mom, I don't see why she is so cold towards pakhi. Pakhi used to share her clothes with her and treat her like a friendshe Pakhi has not been shown as a mean girl in any way and have always supported Kalpi..ANyways, just my opinion..acting wise, they both are doing great job:)
