Aishwarya Rai at the Paris fashion week
He walked along the dusty road as the climate became wondrously cold. He ran a cold hand through his hair thinking about the one girl who had occupied his mind since the last seven hours. The last smile she gave to him as he waved to her flashed before his eyes. He playfully tried to tease her and then get along but it turned into an unexpected agreement which made him rack his brains now. He didn't even have her number to ask her whereabouts. He smacked himself as his heart began pounding against his chest thinking about all the things that may happen to her.
"He is a grumpy young fellow, ain't he?" Sam spoke startling Manvi out of her thoughts. She couldn't believe she was thinking about the one person she found annoying and a displeasing brat. "No", she gave a plain answer to his statement engrossed. She felt suddenly thoughts evoking in her mind like never before, she shouldn't have let him go like that. She saw the car taking a leap turn into one of the few cottages leaving behind the main road as she moved her head to get out off the fatigue and mindless thoughts about a stranger.
"You don't seem to be very much aware of the roads", she spoke panic-stricken to him seeing at the car racing from the middle of a hollow path.
"I wasn't till now, but I am now", he replied putting on a greasy smile making Manvi jump in horror.
"What the hell does that mean", she spoke in a courageous voice whilst he pulled up a tight-lipped smile something fishy playing out in his mind. "Wait a minute you will certainly know what it means" he replied mugging on an annoying smile. Her heart sank to the bottom as she saw the car screeching to a halt nearby a cottage. She immediately opened the back door of the car and tried to run away from there but he was quick enough to grab her hand and drag her to the door of the cottage.
Before he could get away with the opening of the door with inserting the correct key into the hole, he felt Manvi's teeth on his hand. He winced in pain screaming aloud and let go of her. Not giving a fair chance to the disgraceful wag she kicked him with her knee between his legs for him to fall off and groan in discomfort and evoking fresh tears due to the hurt. She jerked back as he pushed her away screaming louder than an owl in pain. She turned hastily leaving away her luggage in the car to get away from there before he could catch her again. She sprung on her foot through the cottages until she was in the middle of the national highway. She looked around in the anticipation to find Virat somewhere but luck was against it.
She stopped near the sign board where she was one hour back. She was completely out of breath, exhausted and dry up. She sat near the sign board silently wishing for Virat to come back. She regretted being rude to him, all now that she could think right now was never leave him if she gets to see him again. Sweat beads trickled on her body as she pushed her hair off her face wishing for some miracle to happen.
"Bhagwan ji just help me for the last time, I wouldn't ask for your help again" , she muttered out aloud to God folding her hands and looking upwards at the sky. She banged her head with her own hands as she figured it out that she had left all her luggage in the goddamned car in rush.
She closed her eyes wishing she would see Virat as soon as she opens her eyes. She sprung on her foot as Virat appeared before her walking vaguely and whistling like a road-side romeo. She blinked several times and even tried the pinching test to find if it was really him or she was imagining things. She felt her little heart doing salsa looking at him. It felt like she regained her consciousness from a coma.
"Tumahri icha puri ho gayi balike?" he replied to her endless pleading to the God.
She instantly came and hugged him tightly sobbing on his shoulder. She moved more closer to him, her head resting on his chest and his hands loosely left out confused. "I'-I'm sorry" she spoke between her sobs hugging him more closely if only possible. Now it was his turn to get confused. Is he really in his senses or had he been fallen into a coma because of the guilt evoking in him for leaving her alone.
He came out of the hug totally bowled over. He moved his ears to and fro to see if he had heard something wrong or were his ears not working properly. "What you heard is exactly what I said", she said wiping away the tear stains.
"For what"?, he asked putting on some attitude.
She pulled up a sorry face and continued, "I was very rude to you, I shouldn't have behaved that way", she replied apologetically. She spoke only half truth as she didn't wanted to surrender completely to him.
"Today should be recorded as the eighth wonder of the world", he said teasing her and smiling brightly. She giggled hearing to his remarks and muttered a "shutup" between the giggles. After composing herself she looked at the awkward position they were in, with her hands wrapped around his neck while his loosely hung on the small of her back.
"See I was so right, I'm so irresistible that you can't let go off me", he smirked raising his eyebrow a bit indicating the position they were in. She immediately let go of her hands from his neck with him following the same.
"It's gonna be morning soon", she replied looking at the darkness slowly fading away welcoming the bright sun and in a way distracting him from his previous comment. They both looked at the sunrise in awe. "This is the first time I'm ever seeing a sunrise", she spoke totally blown away with the mix of orange-red colors filled in the sky as if it were a painting. "What? This explains you don't get up early in the morning. Rip Van Winkle", he laughed as he ran escaping from her soft hands attempting to hit him. She chuckled running behind him trying to catch him.
He stopped totally worn-out due to the excessive running. Before he could say anything she stumbled over him and both of them fell on the ground with her on top of him. Her breathing racked as she looked at the honey orbs. It felt like both of their breath mingled with each other. A smile played along his lips looking at her face. Those lips adorning a mischievous smile, her shining eyes, the smooth silky hair framing her face made him capture her face in his heart below. She bulged her eyes that spoke volumes. "Ok you won", he whispered loud enough for her to hear. She pulled a wide smile showing her white crystalline teeth. She moved closer to him shortening the distance between their faces. His chest felt beating out loud as she moved further.
"Looks like you couldn't resist me now", she asked putting on a grisly smile and pulling away from him. He quickly removed off his hands murmuring a "sorry". She quirked her brows in a disbelieving gaze.
"Today certainly should be recorded as the eighth wonder of the world", she smiled.
