I am not against reformation after punishment as per the law book. But why that reformation has to end in Durga's arms is something I cannot fathom. If he becomes some saint someday let him do something postive for others. Let him join some NGO and work for the society. Why he has to marry anyone ? Is that the only objective of reformation ?

No he doesn't have to marry Durga of course(unless CVs want him to). If Shaurya genuinely turns good and is working to help society then I am sure, he will win the heart of a good and fair maiden who appreciates his kind nature.

So I just expect they end the show with weak, impotent, HIV +ve infected shourya,

Powerless, broken, lonely, mad Sakshi Goenka in mental asylum/hospital

Rajnath Goenka with no power, money with Raima,

pragnent Kangana ditched by her bf,

Shourya's friends killing each other in anger,

Payal setteled with Aakash,

Dev with improved brain,

Dr Dayal married to suchitraji.

And our lovely, beautiful Durga gets married to Neel Bhattacharya.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Shuraya realise what a disgusting shameless pervert he is. If he somehow manages to feel and acknowledge how any decent man would be revolted at doing what he did to Payal then his guilt will lead the doucebag to be emotionally compelled to hurl himself (or if paraylsed have Durga push him) off a bridge to his death. This after giving both a recorded video showing him and his equally perverse friends confessing to the crime, alongside detailed bank records showing how Sakshi and Raj brought all witnesses. If this happens bring on the reformation track I'll gladly watch Shuraya do the world a huge favour by ridding it off scum like him.
Plus it saves Durga getting her hands any more stained in filth and more time to focus on Payel's recovery.

Romance fan you need to get in touch with reality and come out of romantic novels and dramas.

Shaurya is a scum and does not deserve hand of any fair maiden whatsoever. No so called social work or reform can erase lifetime of grave crimes he committed or undo lives he took away or ruined. He is a murderer, rapist, fraud. And deserves nothing else but severest punishment.

He or she is actually very confused between fact and fiction.

The case is of Dursha as a couple and all those humanitarian approaches are to make the point valid.

Even the love for Dursha couple is understood because some people see things only at superficial level but than these examples of' god forgives all' and ' eye for an eye..." which have been asked to used universally is only illogical and stupid. A state has the duty to protect its citizens and therefore cannot work on moral preaching alone. It has to ensure law and order and put those guilty behind bars. As I already said on some other thread, I will prefer a few blinds than no human civilization at all.

UN, which is the largest world organization working for world peace and order also maintains its own armed force. It proves ensuring peace needs power. It cannot be done through talks alone.

I am not against reformation. Statistics have shown how jailed convicts have start life afresh after counselling and reformation. I am okay with that but here the criminal has been let off by the legal system claiming he is innocent. Here the criminal is still trying to rape another girl. Here the criminal is still making bets. Why are talking about forgiveness at this hour ? Did he ask for it ? Did he even show he is sorry for anything he has done so far ? He doesn't deserve this concern now. Also, making him fall in love sounds stupid to me. Lets think logically for a second since we are using facts and figures here. WHy should one girl whose parents were killed by this man and whose sister has been raped by him and also not to forget who is already in love with someone should marry this man ? Where is the logic here ? Even why would reformation lead to marriage ? Even in hte case of Payal people expect her to jump off her hospital bed and marry someone like Dev or Neil. Why can't they ask for a better life where we see the girl achievign something in life. Let say she becomes an advocate tommorow or a teacher or even an I.A.S officer. How many have thought this way ? Where is the logic of idealism here ? WHy marriage is the ultimate goal of all those human lives . be it Durga, be it Shaurya or be it Payal , all of them are to get married to get a good life ? Its pathetic to even think that a woman's lfe is made to serve the man. Seriously, its horrible and cruel thing to ask for. For those ideally correct people, 'WIll you marry a rapist or a murderer ?' If yes than continue and if not watch the show as a fiction and pray that the makers give you a love story. Don't uselessly mix up fact and fiction.

Btw, those who believe solely on salvation should read G.B. Shaw's 'Major Barbara'.

No I am not confused. For all the serious debates, this is after all only a show. And being a viewer, I have a right to state what I want to watch. If and only if CVs make Shaurya repent and go to jail, then Durga and him might be possible. That would be nice. But if Durga ends up with Dev, then CVs could bring in a new actress who will play Shaurya new love interest. That is only if he has turned over a new leaf. It could happen if CVs prolong the show beyond one year. It all depends on trps.

Interestingly for the same reason Aurangzeb banned music and history writing during his reign.

To me 'just a show' doesn't appear anywhere for the theme is a crucial one. Its about' Rape', one social evil and crime India is trying to fight tooth and nail.

Thus, the makers have to show sensible things that can make the world a better place. They should never show anything that can give a wrong message to all. As per the existing law, Shaurya can be hanged and I hope you know that. I think we can make a complete new show about reformation system of criminals. Let EHT be about justice and revenge alone.

Yes, of course you have the right to say whatever you like but since the topic itself is controversial and also depicts a real life picture, we can expect sensible ideas. CVs don't change storylineunless they are pressurised to do so. Love stories ensure good TRPs. We find much people asking Dursha couple and you will get it eventually. So, I am arguing on the point that Shaurya should be sent to jail at the end of the day.
