Thank you SO much for inviting me Atominis!! I ADORE Simone Singh!!! Always have from the time I saw her onscreen as the innocent, guileless Muslim girl trying to save her marriage. She was so charming, so believable. Most actors can OTT in the innocence ,
chui mui bit but she never did. She made it so relatable that it inspired hope.
As a 8 year old I could see how good & controlled an actor she was. She was THAT amazing!!!
Right since then she was one of the few celebrities I followed. I loved her face, her classy & impeccable dressing sense but the most I loved, was her honed & upper crust speech. It blew me away. And am blown away since then. ❤️
She doesn't strike me to be ambitious but something far more precious- She strikes .me to be a thorough perfectionist. The kind who is content sitting at home & sipping on a glass of red but when its time for work- ITS TIME!
Ambitious about Life.
Intelligent, charming, in control, beautiful in a breathtakingly modest manner. Her beauty doesn't overwhelm you- Her personality does. And how many women can say THAT?
Interestingly, I happened to meet Simone Singh in Chandigarh. At a hotel, she sat with her father wearing a simple pale pink top & jeans, her skin white, with the faintest stain of pale pink- She was LOVELY to look at. And SO warm, well informed & highly eloquent- I was a fan for Life.
The only reason why I tuned into EHT was for Simone Singh. Ive always considered her to be a very good actor, but she stunned me as Sakshi.Goenka. her character is the Mother Planet around which all other (small) planets revolve. She is one of the most fascinating characters see on Indian TV. EVER.
Simone breathes Sakshi Goenka & makes us almost sympathize with her. She is devastatingly powerful, viciously intelligent, drunk on a life giving elixir of Wealth, Beauty & Power.
I suspect EHT is much more Sakshi Goenka's story than Durga's who pales in comparing not only because Sanjeeda is a sorely lacking character in comparison to Simone Singh, but because once Simone comes on screen- She grinds EVERYONE into saw dust. I almost feel sorry for her co stars. 😆😆
Yet, there is a certain softness to her depiction. She is vulnerable & suspects that Shaurya will be her downfall. Shaurya is the only one for whom she has pure love. She strikes me to detest Love because she loathes being weak.
It has got a lot to do with her background. The days of poverty, chawl living , the obscurity when she wanted to SHINE because she DESERVED to!!!!
Her character, for all its poisonous flaws, is essentially a very well told story of woman fulfilling the destiny she carved for herself.
And THAT, my friends, is an actress called Simone Singh's Brilliance. 👏⭐️
