Dev's excuse is weak and he is not as savvy and strong as the other Goenka's.

But so far CVs have closed loopholes and I guess his coming to India without informing anybody has something to do with delay.

I mean it seems no one wanted him to come to India and Rajnath and co would be more than happy if Dev stays back in USA and takes his mom also there. So that the entire empire will be theirs.

Also need to understand this Dev they need to show when his dad died and how dependance Suchitra had on Goenkas for bringing up her son. He seems to be a lonely child who Sakshi and co have ignored as long as he is not a threat to them.

I mean his friendship circle is outside the Goenka type clan. His friend Gautham also seems a middle class guy and Nithya of course belonged to a completely different class.

Actually so far.. Dev's entry and their reasons are the only thing that Cv's could present properly before the audience. Regarding that email also, i mean if Nitya had so much faith on Dev that he would stand by her side [like she was telling her family] then how could that faith..that trust just shatter by his one email. If not he then atleast she could have tried contacting him again. Utterly confusing!

They have to come up with a more convincing story - may be he got into some trouble in the US? May be someone created a problem with his US visa, he got arrested, put away and something like that.

Then again, that is not a possibility because he was either working in the US or studying in the US. Even if he is in prison he can still send emails lol

So what happened after 2 years that made Dev come back? It would not have been that difficult for him to get hold of Nitya with all the current technology and communication options out there!!! facebook, twitter, other social media sites, email, cell phone, text message..not to mention friends on social media, friends of friends on social media!

I don't understand why Nitya was not able to get hold of Dev and why Dev was not able to get hold of Nitya...so weird ..This is not the 1980s lol Also the rape, court case etc do not happen overnight..It takes weeks and months before the case goes to court! And you can fly to the US in 24 hours...why would he not call after he settled? shouldn't take more than couple of days to make a call after he landed!

Too many holes..I hope the CVs come up with a better story line or we have to just ignore these things lol The difference between this show and other shows is the tight story line. sadly not anymore :( I like Dev's entry but his disappearance the last 2 years is not convincing.

yaa Sanaa unless we get a solid confession from Dev on why he was away during that time when the court case happened there is loophole. But a full fledged confession will be possible only if he knew the reality of Durga.

From the looks of it , it is not going to be easy to convince her of his absence, just like us viewers😃

However he must have been kept in the dark because in india name of the rape victim is NOT revealed till the girl herself wants to disclose it . So maybe for a long time Dev had no clue about Payal being the victim. He must have only been told that his brother is an accused in some rape case but not the other part of the story . So till the time he aftually got to know everything it was perhaps too late. This is what I think. Lets see if they provide us with a detailed explanation .
