I never expected this ending. But yeah, it meant much more. He had to sort it out before returning to her, he couldn't let his lack of trust and other issues come in between. Though I would've loved if you'd shown Suman breaking off from the marriage too.😳
Too much freedom, eh?😆

ShraMan always makes us dive deep into emotions, everytime is a new experience. So, thankyou for enlightening us on one more facet from the thousands of instances.

The detailing was indeed so delicately done. I always admire your ability to do this, it's so soft and smooth!

Love,
Mahi.

Mahi!
I believe that distance makes the heart grow fonder and I feel that it was important for him to distance himself from all of this so he could breathe again.
Sumo breaks off the mariage she doesn't say it explicitly but when she says that she'll will wait for him to be a better man, the better version of himself, it's her Breaking Free from the marriage with Aditya!
Thank you so much 😳

This is such a beauty Sal..and so deftly at that! So beautifully has Shravan been written and understood..him, not just his feelings. Woah girl👏

There are always risks in freedom. But the only risk in bondage Is Breaking free. Shravan needed it so badly at that juncture. This was the ideal scenario as compared to being huddled into a marriage while his heart still hurt.

When people treat you like they don't care, you need to believe them. Take the cue and break the shackles.

There comes a point when you need to decide between turning the page or closing the book...I am glad he chose to close it. I am so glad that he didn't stop. It was clever of you to keep the end open..sometimes closures are not important.

This is why I missed your comments so much! So much room for discussion. We don't realize but distance can be important for a relationship. Shravan was hurting so much that the only thing he could give to someone was pain at that point of time. True, closures are not important but going away, distancing himself isn't it a sort of closure for him?

Oh yeah it is a closure, provided he sticks to it. The Shravan we know has a fragile resolve when it comes to Sumo..He should walked away when she came seeking his help for the Khosla case, he didn't. He should have walked away once she recovered from the accident, he didn't. He should have walked away when her wedding was announced to a man he so despised , he didn't.

Shravan always stuck around Sal, for honestly he never stopped hoping.
Other than the reunion fiasco, he never really dealt severely with her.
Loving her was like a battle for him. His heart was a like captive bird, flapping, thrashing but never breaking free.

While writing Kinara, I had contemplated what if I would actually let him go back to London, but then I realised, the guy would never let his mind rule his heart. He could not break free, especially when he was already married to Sumo.

Which is why I loved your story, for the step he took and the time when he took it.
I remember I liked Plethora for the same reason, for the resolve in him to let go and move on.

I was in the same dilemma for Holding you, my previous plan was to make him come back from the airport itself but then we had a discussion on this on the forum and and that made me realize how important it is for people to be in the right state before they begin a new relationship. When you were writing Kinara, I actually thought that he would go away but then you give relief to my heart by bringing him back. You have described his love beautifully and logically he should have gone away but I think there is a reason why everything we want him to stay, we have fallen in love with the way he loves his Sumo. And I agree with you, they should have not married each other till everything was solved!

And what you said about the hoping part, I could see that part of him resurfacing during their own marriage when she comes to his house to discuss about their rishta, he asks her a question about her feelings and he stills waiting for an answer, that scene is so so brillant, he was trying to be nonchalant but at the same time hoping!

Oh my..that was heartbreaking, the way he asked "aur aisi koi baat nahi hai. Haina?" I had shouted at Suman on TV to speak up😆. Namik by then had started breathing as Shravan.
Even a semblance of assurance to Shravan about her love for him, would have done wonders for his self esteem at that point. What a brilliant scene it was!
