TV show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, which features Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul as the lead couple, will end on October 7.
The decision has been taken in the wake of Nikita's poor health. Informs a source associated with the show, "We tried our best to manage without Nikita, but being the protagonist of the show, it became increasingly difficult to do so. Since she has been unwell for quite some time, she has not been available to shoot with. Rather than focusing on other tracks and fooling the audience, we decided to end it."
