@indrani - I agree that shravan was probably the most introspective of everyone around her and probably felt some of her pain.
But its not about that.you might disagree with me - but if I am in trauma - I will not care who introspected about me in one dark corner of their house for me - what would be more effective for me would be if someone came to me and only asked if I am alright and gives me the reassurance that all is not lost, that everything is alright! -I agree with you hundred percent...And apart from a small word.. please take care of yourself...we did not see Shravan as being her friend (forget lover)...in terms of saying few words of solace...like he did..when she posed the question...I will be alone after Nanu (phone convo)..he said no, I shall be there for you...But, if the cvs have yet not shown this or even Shravan not even once coming close to telling her...I am there for you...the reason is as I said, they want the misunderstandings to continue for few more weeks..and to keep open the gates for Nimmo's son to enter and say sorry...If Shravan behaves as the good friend he once was...rest assured that the story will come to an end in two days flat...So, the lack of empathy for Shravan's person which we rightly feel as of now shall be countered by the logic which we will see emanate from Sumo and Tiwaris after Chomu's re-entry...The cvs cannot balance our love and affection for both the leads at the same time...😆that is my only gripe against shravan. i do understand what all is stopping him and hence I feel heart broken because the smoke screen on his eyes is getting thicker by the day.the rest of the people around sumo are ridiculous - nanaji in particular - gone is the wise man and what we see now is a petty human who surprisingly thinks that getting her married is the only solution available - not a word of solace - not a word of assurance. had his character been kept intact (by the CVs) he would have been the one telling her to stand up and get going with her life and not to depend on anyone for her happiness. but alas!your question: what if suman had never read shravan's letter - that's a very interesting question indeed. But we did see how reading that letter made her more resolute about him and cleared out a chunk the fog by itself. Its the same craving this time around too. Just imagine what all shravan reading suman's letter can do to "them"!
