Sumo Rocks!

Sigh...

Yesterday's episode was wonderfully Sumo- licious for me.

She came out in all her flying colours!👏

There was anger, frustration, love, friendship, sadness...

And at the end of it, a Sumo who finally found a friend who would understand her.

Like it or not, Friendship is not equivalent to love. It is good if your husband/ lover is your best friend...sadly, Shravan sees his and his family's needs before him, unless Sumo's life or house is threatened.😉

The feelings are very much there...but he is scared to explore her beyond the limits he set years ago.

And now he has decided to abide by the rules his father has set him...wouldn't call him a coward or a lesser lover...just that this is who he is.

He is the very same man we saw in the promo..the one who looked down on women...Over the weeks, he has grown to only include women like Kamini and Preeti as the ideal woman...as dictated by his father.

Women like Suman and his own mother are proud and vain... he remains blind, because he doesn't want to be hurt again. Poor lamboo rich lawyer! 😭

Aditya enters as a pleasant surprise- the best third wheel in the history of Indian television. Guy is so cool...and has a sense of humour! He stumps even Sumo with his talkativeness...and this one is a maa ka laadla for a change. (If he is Ahuja's son, I'd find it a little odd...because I would protest that Nirmala was not this kind of a mother to Shravan. Would deeply appreciate if he remained just Pushkar's friend. ..which is what I had been expecting.)

Is he a friend to Suman? I really wouldn't say so...he is more like a counsellor...would have made a great brother! But he seems smitten by Suman Tiwari...so all I have to say is, "Hands off, fella! She is taken."😛

I don't think we have to fret over this guy...just sit back and enjoy the positivity he exudes...ha ha...loved the way he ignored Shravan. ROFL.

And anyway, Suman herself knows what her feelings for Shravan are, she is not going to allow anyone to corrupt it...so trust her and enjoy this track.👍🏼

Loved Suman apologising to Kamini, Shravan silently appreciating the fact that she had been up the whole night in preparations...if he learns to be a little more vocal about it, he could save Suman some of the energy she puts into making him understand her.

No appreciation, no apology...Dude has only learned to criticise openly.

Shravan's jealousy- Pushkar conversation in the morning...Namik's expressions. Sweet!😳

Aditya barging into Tiwari house (Such a jobless cobbler!)- Sumo rolling her eyes...got to see a beautiful new expression on Niki's face.😆

The coffee convo- Was very realistic and beautifully written. All in all, in spite of Shravan feeling jealous, the epi exuded positivity! 👏

And again, that Shraman confrontation and the way she finally gave up on him and screamed at him to take it whichever way he wanted...pretty sums up what this track is about. 😉

Precap: Shravan tells dad he will give his feelings some time. 😆 Ten years didn't teach you anything, sweetheart? 😉 Nothing's gonna change your love for her. 😛

I just hope this new guy doesn't drag much.. I mean we don't get more of Sumo Aditya scenes at the expense of ShraMan..

i am sorry but her character is butchered - the i am getting lost in your eyes aditya - expressions were more cringe worthy than his focus on her lips or kamar for the past 2 epis.

i used to love sumo and watched the show for her character but refuse to accept anything dolled out by CVs in the name of self respect (which has been butchered to no end on this show as well). in the name of realism, they have brought this down to even lower standards than a regular drama + the choppy direction of her scenes. she was easily the best female lead till a month ago though

but i respect your opinion and do agree with you on other scenes though 😊

As for going beyond..did you miss the part where Shravan said he didn't want Suman to ruin the Sangeet also for his precious Kamini Chachi. 😆 In this entire drama, doesn't it seem odd that Shravan is the only one supporting Kamini? Her husband and son just tell her to shut up.

She is not getting lost in Aditya. Aditya is moony over her..she is just looking for a support from a friend. She can't get close to Shravan who anyway criticises her for everything otherwise too..Pushkar is busy in his wedding...the guy genuinely offers her advice about her small business venture...if Shravan can't take a girl getting friendly with a guy who is not her husband/ lover...that is his problem.
