Puba...Hmm. Reverse psychology ka toh pata nahi...maybe it shows how she tries to leave him...but still leaves a mark behind, literally...on his finger?

@Amri - 👏 you guys write really well (you, puba, fenweh)

I too have a feeling that this is where they are taking the track to. Also, in terms of being a forced marriage - it sure will be under forced circumstances but not a forced move from their individual pov - they know where they individually stand regarding each other - they will rather be confused, as to whether this was the right way for this to be taken forward and of course might (will) think that the other one has done a favor of sorts.

And you are right - this will actually be the best way for them to discover each other in their totality - particularly for Shravan. He knows the girl Sumo - he is yet to fully comprehend the woman - Suman and those knowledge gaps needs plugging in - before Ramnath's biased opinion fills them up. This is also the right stage, because Shravan is often shown to be conflicted (or confused) about his understanding of Suman - he just needs a push - and the push rather be in the right direction.

Suman also needs this wedding to come out of her ehsaan baggage - the way Tiwaris are shown to be, no one in that family actually gives two hoots about Suman's well being per se. This girl can grind herself to death for all they care.

As for foreshadowing: it has also been mentioned that preeti and Pushkar's life does not move without Suman and Shravan - so I guess some precondition will come up such that their wedding will be made conditional on Suman-Shravan's wedding

Thank you so much🤗 It was lovely to read your perspective on the whole track. So brilliant.

Marriage is the only way these two dunces can be together. The time they spend as friends is just not enough for the full realisation of what they mean to each other and where they stand in each other's lives. It'd be brilliant to see it thrust on them in a way where they would see their biggest dream coming true...that is, marrying their best friend/love of their life...while at the same time wondering as to what exactly they mean to each other.

And the transition from being friends to spouses will be a delight...the initial awkwardness...the attraction...the intimacy...that'd be a treat to see!

Maybe someone who attends the wedding will comment on why Suman being the elder sister is unmarried and if there's something wrong with her...and Shravan getting enraged and jumping to the rescue as usual. Stereotypical..I know 😆

@amri - whatever rocks their boat 😆 - it just needs to be rocked !!
as for the quintessential "how" - it can also be someone taking a picture of Shravan and Suman in an intimate moment, following by several random heads and eyes rolling at the wedding and Kamini adding fuel to the fire by instigating the izzat angle to the Tiwaris. who knows Nanu might again find his voice and say he wants the two married 😆

Infact, it is somewhat hilarious to see all the elder Tiwaris comfortably enjoying the marriage proceedings by shedding all the load over to a young girl with no experience. I dont think they will have any problem to shed the load named Suman altogether over to Shravan's able shoulders at all (that ways their expenses on Suman's wedding will also be spared)

Quirky...

Maybe their 'sensuous' dance during the sangeet will unleash the gossip hounds...Lol.

And I don't have the patience to watch these marriage rituals again...skip straight to the important part and get them married already:P

Nith, A very well written post. You said it all! The way Nanu and the Tiwari family is behaving is absurd!! How do they even dump all the responsibilities on Sumo? Why is Nanu silent about that? She is being made into a bali ki bakri!! Typical indian female Jagath Matha?
Its a forum and everyone is allowed to have their views. When the show has such obvious loopholes then why should us discussing them be termed as negativity.

As for the show, I watch it for Shraman and Nikki and Namik. They both rock!! Will continue to watch it... as long as the show is entertaining. Hopefully with the TRPs going up the CVs will try to balance the class and the mass bit of the show.

😆 True that and its a pity no one gossips about them - individually and together (more so) they truly are supremely gossip worthy - so enough with the world ignoring what is staring them in their face 😆 let the dance unleash all such forced!!

I don't understand...at least in India people of the opposite sex who are friends don't get into each other's room so freely...especially when it's a relatively conservative family like Sumo's.

And Shravan always ghusaos into her room at will...sits on her bed...even closes the door sometimes...like when she was recovering and he made his promise about staying by her side forever. Even Sumo just barges into his room whenever she likes...

And yesterday toh she wore his dupatta...no one questions it? You've gotta be kidding me. I wonder what these people are smoking.
