many of u pmed me to update the story and many of u told me to update soon in comments
i know there are still some comments left to reply i'll do that later but first i think its best to update my story right?

CHAPTER 5
IN DELHI HOSPITAL... (u ppl can consider any hospital u like in delhi , no restriction)
A doctor comes out of the OT
Ramnath: doctor! please tell me kaisa hai vo abhi?
Doctor: kuch keh nai skte mr. Malhotra jis condition mein inhe yahan laya gya tha kaafi critical tha abhi toh fir bhi thhik hai par...
Ramnath(hell worried): par??...oar kya doctor?? aap kehna kya chaah rhe hain?...
the doctor looks down and ramnath tries to catch his eyes confusingly
Rmnath: boliye!!!
he jerks him
Doctor: maine aapse pehele bhi kaha tha mr. Malhotra that we're trying our best and lets hope for the best in future too!
now ramnath lost his temper , he had had enough. He clasped doctor's uniform's collar hard and shouted at his face thereby seeking everyone's attention
Ramnath: kya 'lets hope for the best' laga rkha hai!! pichle ek hafte se yehi keh rhe hain aap!!
then seeing the terrified face of the doctor he calmed himself down and folded his hands while crying
Ramnath: please...i beg you mere bete ko kuch matt hone dijiye use kisi bhi tarah bacha lijiye please...vo mera sab kuch hai sab kuch!! uske bina mai nai jee paunga...please...
while crying he knelt his head down on the still folded hands
doctor feeling sad held his hands and patted on his shoulder with a smile
Doctor: mr. Malhotra i promise you aapke bete ko kuch nai hone dunga ...shravan ko kuch bhi nai hone dunga
ramnath felt a bit relieved on hearing it and weakly smiled through his tears
Ramnath: kya mai...
Doctor(nodding): haan haan bilkul!
then ramnath went inside the ICU where no visitor is allowed to stay long but doctor considered his situation
shravan was shifted to ICU just then from the OT
ramnath sat beside him and held his hand and started caressing it
Ramnath(in tears): im sorry shravan...mai tumhara apradhi hoon...im your culprit...sab kuch meri vajah se hua!! toh saza mujhe do na!! please but apne aap ko nai...tumhari koi galti nai hai sab galti meri hai!! sab meri!! please (kisses his hand and put his forehead on it while crying) mujhe maaf kr do...apne papa ko maaf kr do laut aao...mai promise krta hoon mai sab thhik kr dunga...sab kuch!! i promise bass tum laut aao shravan laut aao
he cried then his cries turned into wails then slowly he drifted off to sleep. The whole night he slept there holding onto shravan's hand.
NEXT MORNING
TIWARI KILLA
Suman couldnt sleep whole night. As soon as she heard nanu's condition she rushed upstairs with the hot cup of tea in his room
Suman: nanu!!!
nanu was reading newspaper when hearing his princess's voice made his heart leap up and down with joy
Nanu: arre suman beta tu kaisi hai??!
he asked with a smile
Suman: mai toh bilkul thhik hoon nanu par aapko kya ho gya??...aap aisa kaise soch skte hain nanu ki aapka ye sher beta itni asaani se zindagi se haar maan jayega??!! aap bhi na aapki sumo ko koi chhoo bhi nai skta toh baal baka krna toh door dooorr tkk nai dikh rha !!!
she said with full of enthusiasm and broad smile while giving him the tea and taking the newspaper, folded it nicely before keeping it away.
nanu chuckled at her liveliness
he sipped one sip and suman sat down near him
Nanu: suman beta...mujhe tumse kuch zaroori baat krni thi...
Suman: mujhe bhi...par pehele aap boliye aur aap jaante hain nanu ki pehele tum aur pehele aap mein hamesha mai hi jeet ti hoon isiliye koshish krne ka koi faida nai smjhe (she said in a warning tone then smiled) ab boliye!
nanu laughed at her stubbornness and continued
Nanu: beta...vo ramnath mujhse kl kuch manga tha aur aisa cheez jo mai mana nai kr paya par fir laga tumse ek baar pooch loon
Suman(little worried): kya manga uncle ne?
nanu smiled widely...
*FLASHBACK*
Ramnath(little hesitant): tiwari ji...vo ...darasal baat ye thi...mujhe aapse suman k baare mein baat krna tha...
nanu gets tensed but then nods for him to go ahead
Ramnath(a lot more hesitant now): vo darasal...mai chahta tha ki...suman ko...suman ko aap mujhe saup de!
nanu's eyes widened on hearing this and ramnath noticed him thus
Ramnath: ghabraiye matt tiwari ji mai suman ko apni beti ki tarah rakhunga use ek pita ka pyaar dunga jaise shravan ko diya...
nanu's posture relaxed a bit on hearing this from his favourite and trustworthy student himself
he smiled which relieved ramnath a lot
Nanu: tumhe suman chahiye ...mai dene k liye tayar hoon par ek baar usse bhi baat kr lena
overwhelming with happiness ramnath nodded immediately and hugged nanu blurting "Thankyou tiwari ji thankyou so much" again and again.
*FLASHBACK ENDS*
suman smiled broadly through her tears
Nanu: bolo beta tumse ramnath ne baat ki?
Suman: isi baare mein toh aapse baat krni thi mujhe nanu
and then suman narrated her part of the story...
*FLASHBACK*
Suman: kya baat hai uncle? aapne kaha tha aap poora ek din mere saath baith kar iss baare mein baat krnge...toh kya abhi krnge? aur kis baare mein?
she asked tensely
ramnath looked into her eyes
Ramanth: haan mai abhi hi karunga aur isi vakt!
Suman(hesitant herself): ha...haan boliye...
Ramnath: suman...tumhe mere saath Malhotra mansion chalna hoga but...
Suman(worried): but kya uncle? boliye na??
Ramnath: but meri ek shart hai...
Suman(afraid to ask): kaisi...shart...??
Ramnath: tumhe apne family members ko chhorna hoga aur hamesha k liye vahin rehna hoga...
Suman: what??? uncle aap pagal toh nai ho gye ??? mai yahan shravan k baare mein janna chahti hoon aur aap mujhe malhotra mansion mein kaid krne ki baat kr rhe hain i mean its ok mai maanti hoon aapko mai pasand nai shravan k liye lekin iska ye mtlb toh nai hai na ki aap jo chaahe jaise chaahe mujhe treat krnge mujhe apne ghar ki naukrani smjh liya aapne aur aisi saza kis liye de rhe hain aap mujhe mere family se mujhe alag kr k hamesha k liye sirf isiliye ki maine aapka pro...
Ramnath(a bit high volume): ENOUGH!!
suman got startled and immediately stopped her endless ranting which indeed irritated ramnath
enough for him to cut her off
Rmanth: tum ab bhi nai smjhi mai kya kehna chah rha hoon ??
suman still amuzed at his shout , nodded in a no very innocently
ramnath sighed and continued
Ramnath: smjh skta hoon ...tumhari galti nai hai...anyways i was saying ki tumhe mere ghar mein hamesha k liye rehna hoga as...as nshravan's wife and my daughter in law or rather i should say my own daughter
he glanced at her face to seek her reaction
she was side eyes of cource
*FLASHBACK ENDS*
Nanu: toh tumne kya kaha? haan kiya iss rishte k liye?
she looked away and forced a smile before silently nodding and dashing back to her room
of cource she told nanu only this much and the rest of the incident she remembered back when she was alone in her room
*FLASHBACK*
Suman: uncle...ye ...ye aap kya keh rhe hain...
Ramnath: mai jaanta hoon beta...
but suman immediately cuts him off
Suman: beta???!!! ...mai kabb se aapko itni pyaari lagne lagi??? i wonder...i really wonder kahin koi nai chaal toh nai khelna chahte aap...kisi naye tareeke se mujhe shravan ki nazro...
he voice trailed off as soon as she took his name and she felt her whole body is heated up in flames and the body parts within started functioning
she looked down instantly drifted off to some thoughts
ramnath's head was hanging low out of shame on whatever he did. He was hearing her scolding with heavy guilt but as soon as she stopped he bacame suspicious and stared up at her face
she was lost in her thoughts
Ramnath: suman??...beta kya hua??
she startled up on hearing her name
Suman: uncle ...apne kaha shravan...shravan...kahan hai vo???? mujhe usse milna hai abhi!!! please uncle please mujhe usse milva dijiye bass ek baar!! please...
she begged folding her hands and ramnath could see tears brimming in her eyes
he slowly put down her hands with his own and sighed sadly looking down.
then he shook his head in 'no closing his eyes which confused suman utterly
Ramnath: nai beta abhi tum usse nai mil skti...im sorry...
he dint glance back up he dint have any courage left to face her intense eyes
Suman(a frown arose between her brows): kyu?? kyu nai mil skti??...abhi aap mujhe uski so called wife banana chahte thay and now this?? uncle mai shravan se milna chahti hoon abhi mtlb abhi and that's final!!
she said with full firmness
ramnath slowly stood up from his sitting position and glanced down at her while she sat with same firm look on her face glancing up at him
Ramnath: beta smjhne ki koshish kro...please...
Suman: kya smjhu mai uncle
she shouted but immediately realized she dint want whole house to know ramnath's dirty truth specially nanu so she calmed herself down, exhaled a deep breath.
Suman: uncle please milne se kuch nai hoga please mujhe bass ek baar sirf ek baar milne dijiye please
Ramnath: beta tum bhi please smjhne ki koshish kro mai baad mein milva dunga
Suman: kyu uncle...boliye na kyu aisa kya baat hai jo mai shravan se abhi nai mil skti?? boliye na uncle kyu nai mil skti??!!
Ramnath: kyuki vo coma mein hai!!!1
he shouted , irritated by her never ending questions
Silence...
Suman(in whisper, loud enough for him to hear): which hospital?
she asked staring blankly at nothing in particular
ramnath told her the hospital name
she quickly pulled away her covers and dove to her bathroom , changed into her casuals, came out and grabbed her car keys and phone before dashing out of the room, then house then straight into her car
ramnath dint stop her he knew his son needed her he slowly slumped down on the chair and rubbed his face with gis palms . he sat there for almost half an hour in that same position face covered with his palms before coming to the hospital
suman on reaching the hospital frantically searched for shravan's cabin
she was instructed where to go but she guessed she was lost
then finally with the help of an attendent she reached his cabin and peeked through the round small glass window of the door.
tears started forming as she saw her life laying there lifeless
seeing his condition she covered her mouth to prevent any gasp or cry from coming out
then she let out a whisper removing her hands with a chocking throat
Suman: shravan...
she pushed opened the door and without taking her eyes off his face she sat beside him holding his hand
she silently sobbed holding , kissing and feeling his a bit cold hands, taking his name again and again
after almost an hour ramnath reached there he silently peeked inside and prevented himself from breaking down ...still she felt his presence but she was fully preoccupied by only thought of shravan to return back to her so while crying she silently prayed for his wellness
*FLASHBACK ENDS*
3 days passed by, still no recovery...
ramnath and suman spent most of their time in the hospital
the rest of both their family members gave their full support even nanu! as shravan was and will always be the apple of his eyes and now he was going to become the 'Damad' of the 'Tiwari killa'
how can nanu not assure his little princess's happiness
finding no one around ramnath slipped inside the room and sat beside shravan with serious face
Ramnath: i know...i know that you're punishing me...fine!! agar tum nai maanoge toh mai bhi tumhara baap hoon!! manvaaye bina maanunga nai mai bhi!!
(trust me if shravan would have been in his senses awake, he would have twitched his nose and made several disgusting faces in hearing that same old 'mai tumhara baap hoon' dialog!)
Ramnath(continued): mai achhi tarah se jaanta hoon tum kiske kehne par aaoge...usne abhi tkk tumse kuch kaha nai na isiliye kyuki tum kahin na kahin ab bhi usse bohot naraaz ho but i promise beta...ek baar tum uska baat maan lo then i'll accept all my deeds and tell you all the truth about her i promise!!
and then without looking back he stormed out.
