Lovely piece of writing, Rekh. 👏
"You never stop loving someone
You either never did or you always will"
That is the truth of true love...
"Those have the most power to hurt us, that we love".
The power to hurt- almost feels like a continuation of the conversation we had a week ago. I did say I love the fact about him that she still has the power to hurt him.
How deep does that hurt run?- I doubt Suman would have any idea. She can understand it in relation to his feelings for his mom...But when it comes to her, it runs deeper...
All Suman sees is his troubled relationship with his mother...that is only the tip of the iceberg. His feelings for Suman run deeper...among the twin disasters that happened a lifetime ago, Shravan thinks he has moved on from one and can get back to being friends with Suman. The other one- he refuses to move on from and acknowledges it as it is.
Truth is, he can clear his misunderstandings with his mother over a cup of coffee whenever he is willing to sit down for that cup.
When it comes to Sumo...it is going to take a long time...he is going to require several cups to know this one girl called Suman Tiwari...He has seen her many faces...He can see through her lies..When it comes to who she truly is, Shravan still has a long way to go.
I am loving this journey of that Shravan Malhotra. 👏
I loved the fact that he acknowledged and appreciated this side of Suman he hadn't known...😳
