Guys Am I the only one who is totally confused by the character of Suman? As an independent, working woman I can understand her obsession with self respect. I also get it that she was publicly humiliated by Shravan & what hurt her was that it was planned in cold blood unlike when she humiliated him on a whim.

But i still dont understand how she doesnt feel bad even once about the broken friendship & the hurt she caused Shravan. She herself is so emotionally attached to her mom, then how can she not understand Shravan's pain if she really was his friend.

This Blow Hot, Blow cold attitude of hers leaves me cold. I am really confused by her characterization. Even at workplace while they show her workers empathize with her & try to help her, I am yet to see a single instance where she empathizes with her employees. There seems to be a big gaping hole in her characterization. I am able to understand Shravan's actions, behavior, pain but somehow Suman's struggle most of the times seem to be self-inflicted.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same. I definitely dont want a Mother India Gopi Vahu types FL but having said that should the CVs not try to make her at least slightly likeable? Actually i find her similar to ASR from IPK. Troubled/confused childhood, orphan, rude to others, bloated sense of ego. But at the end of the day KKG ended up falling in love with ASR. Is EDKV reverse of IPK. A rude, egoistic FL finally falling for a kind ML. Sorry for the comparisons. This is just to bring out the characteristics of Suman.

Agree with u dear...me bhi itni confused hu...shravan ka character se me connect ho pa rahi hu par suman ka self-respect muje ego hi lagta hai...shravan abhi bhi suman Ko hi payaar karta hai bhalehi usne party me usko insult Kari ho yaa phir avoid par uske emotions dikhai dete hai par suman ki side sabkuch blank hi hai...shaysd writer confused hai aur promo to bilkul ulte hai Jo ab tak dikha rage hai usse to I think writer thoda to suman Ko sensible dikhaye at least apni galti man sake itna to dikhahi sakte hai...i hope ki writer uske character Ko acche se nikhare agar aesa hi hota rahega to phir drama me kuch maza nahi aayega...abhi ke liye mere hisab se shravan ke character Ko bahot acche se describe Kara hai usme sare emotions ka balance hai...

Sumo is not bad..There are people like that..who are.. u can't say insensitive towards the pain of others...but they are like it's not a big deal yaar kind of people...

no I am not defending her actions...whatever she said to young Shravan was wrong...

But they don't give a thought to their actions in that depth..what grave mistake they have done samajna is little difficult for them...

Some people hold on to that heartfelt apology. ..until and unless they get that they dont move on...Some seek revenge...Some just forget..In literal sense forget...some move on with time...sab ka alag alag hota h..

Regarding the canteen ladies...u can see how much preeto likes suman...suman might not talk pyar se unke sath...but she is never ill towards them...neither hates them...kya kya logo k mu hi mirchi lagi hoti hai..🤣..though they are good at heart..

I guess here we are expecting a little conscience on her part...but there are people who don't judge their each n every action...

its the way she is..A little rude to shravan and canteen ladies,a little sweet to Nanu and dabbu, a little submissive towards mami , a little nice chilled out friend to Pushkar...

She is not evil..she is in fact very relatable to normal human being...who is with flaws...

Just give her sometime ...We will like her eventually. .

Anu ...I liked You compared her to Mighty ASR. ...She does give ASR vibes...

And I do believe she is not in love with Shravan. .yet...she considers him or used to consider him a very good friend bas...

And maybe once she falls in love...We will see changes in her..

Hey i really loved ur post. Very balanced & practical. yeah i agree that she is quite normal. Neither psychotic nor Mother India. She is neither kind nor unkind. She is some1 who is honest, goes bt her business & never troubles anyone. The problem is at least in my life I have never seen anyone falling in love with a character like that. I mean no guy would be attracted to a girl like that. So may be thats why i find it kinda weird to see Shravan love her. But then in that case even other shows where they show the hero as intense & arrogant but the girl falls for him are also not real. So basically in really life no girl falls in love with an ASR nor no guy falls in love with a Sumo 😆

I love your last line. So far Sumo doesnt love anyone except her dead mom. She has affection for Nanu, Daboo, childhood Shravan & true friendship for Pushkar. But till now she doesnt truly love anyone. So will be interesting to see how she behaves once she actually falls in love. Maybe then her behavior ll be more reasonable.

I think the CVs ve introduced this Urvashi track only for this. Shravan knows he has always loved Suman. But till now Suman has always considered Shravan only as a friend. May be now that equation might change 😳

I have a different take on this. Contrary to Suman's accusation that he is a BHAGODE, Shravan is a fixer. He thinks logically & i am guessing that's why he is a successful lawyer. He owns up for his mistakes & tries to rectify him. In his mind he does accept that he was wrong in planning a cold blooded revenge & humiliating Suman before her friends. So when he learns that she met with an accident & incurred financial loss he owns up for his actions & tries to rectify them. Remember he considers the entire family of Suman as a family friend. So frm his view point he is not just giving money to Suman but he is actually helping his family friend who have suffered a loss of 3L indirectly due to his actions. He did not give it directly to Maami coz he respects elders & must ve thought it will look better if Suman gives it to them. After all they are all blaming her & he was hoping their behavior towards her will improve if she gives them the money.

But Suman never owns up for her mistakes. For her its always only her ego. Even her act of returning the 20L & now the 3L is more to do with her ego than genuine regret for her action. For eg she was not that hurt. She could ve easily asked the phone of 1 of the bystanders, called home, told them bt the accident & leave by cab. Thats what you & i w'd ve done. But no for Suman her ego is always important. There is a thin line between self-respect & ego. Self respect is returning money to Shravan. I totally agree with Suman on this since Shravan did call her a gold digger. But not owning up for her faults & being insensitive to others' feelings. Thats ego & not self respect.
