Agreed he is still struck on same things and never moved on..

Waiting for sumo's reaction..Will she forgive him or not..
Last not least we don't know about what exactly happened ten years before...

Remember, she wanted only two things from him before agreeing to go with him to the party. For him to accept her friend request and to call her Sumo! Then he calls her a gold digger!

She returned his gifts and stayed clear of him too... bugger books flight tickets for Purna and calls her what ever... I dont see Monday anywhere near by... never felt the weekends to be sooo long!

Hmm... I actually thought it was presented very well, without actually going overboard, something which I was fearing. So thank you CVs. Objectively, if someone constantly ignores you in school but meets you on the sly & even there the person passes snide comments on the way you are..and then you meet that person after 10 years & you've turned into a stud & that person is suddenly trying to be all friendly..what would you make out of it? Anyone would think the way Shravan thought. And this scene was so real, because it brought out the disconnect these 10 years have brought to their relationship. Even if they were to make up in the future, things would never be the same as they were 10 years ago.

Also, he didn't return with revenge on his mind. So he would have gone on with his life, had she not provoked him & gave him a chance to say his piece. I personally think it is convenient for all of us to blame Shravan at the moment because we don't know the full picture yet. Whatever we've seen of their past is not the complete picture & it is no mystery that something even worse happened that caused him so much anguish, & pain. So I don't think that whatever he did was any more than what he went through. I don't personally believe in an eye for an eye but it is very natural for people to hold on to grudges, that too from a young age if it is not addressed. And the pain Shravan received from his mother & Suman were never addressed, thus that pain made a house in his heart & continues to sting him till today. Having become a smart lawyer, he thinks that the way to get it out is to get even, but soon he'll realise that getting even is no solution.

Phew, that was a long reply! I can't believe I am saying this but I am on Shravan's side today.

That's cause you have not heard Sumo yet... wait till Monday... You might still eat your words. 🤣
On a serious note these CVs are really good. 😆😆

A request to all those cursing Shravan. Please read this!

For a min forget that Sumo is a girl & Shravan is a boy. Just imagine 2 ppl. 1 is popular, always makes fun of the other, doesnt want to b seen with that person in public, humiliates that person in public (assumption but CVs ve dropped ample hints that Shravan was humiliated), doesnt contact the person who left hurt & angry for 10 yrs, then suddenly starts showing interest wen the person returns as a successful stud (hot & handsome to boot). Just for a min close ur eyes & run this thru ur mind. Now put urself in the 2nd person's shoes & imagine how u will feel & react.

Here ppl r fuming only coz Sumo is a girl & Shravan is a boy!

See, the way I see it, two wrongs don't make a right. What Suman did in the past was wrong and what Shravan does in the present is wrong. One wrong does not 'right' the other and there can be no excuses.
Shravan makes valid points, why did she not contact him in the past? He does not know she has lived with guilt over the last 10 years and possibly lacked the courage. He cannot know that she has changed and how she has changed. And he cannot see that she will reject him once more, for he is not the person she loves.

What he did today was to take from Suman everything she has held dear in her youth and no one in that room will see her without remembering this humiliation. The old Sumo may have been devastated at having lost her image, the Suman of today will only feel bad about spending her time nursing a friendship and a friend long dead. That is the only regret she will have and so talking of moving on, she can truly move on now.

But sadly, Shravan, will be left standing where he found himself 10 years ago and where he finds himself now.

Sumo did get the point and might forgive the insult with time... but her being termed a gold digger would hurt her the most. That seriously caught her off guard.

Because in that one accusation he has teamed her with the likes of Powder puff and company. That I feel is something that she would find very difficult to forgive.

Suman insulted him in public back then so why can't he do that now?
Regarding the gold digger bit, I don't think Shravan said that bit out of revenge per se, though the intent was there. It came out more because of the disconnect they share. 10 years ago, they ended off on the note of heartbreak with geeky Shravan & bindaas Sumo. 10 years later, they're trying to start off on the note of 'hum bahut acche friends hai' with stud Shravan & pretty Sumo. It obviously won't work.
These two need to re-start on the note of bitterness again, then sort out those bitter feelings, then gradually move towards friendship & more for it to work out. They need to sit down, talk about whatever that happened, share & that's the first step to healing.

I would still say, she started with a sorry... We need to know the past before passing judgement. But, in Sumo's defence she apologized... what Shravan said here, had he told her then and said hello, hai, bye bye we would be all for him. Sadly that is not the case.

I completely agree with everything you said.
I just want to add one point - I believe its not so much a question of wrong & right here. This show is actually tackling a very sensitive issue that is often ignored. Scars from our childhood often haunt us all our lives, either in the form of psychological issues or they sting our heart all our lives. And sadly a lot of time, all this is ignored in the name of 'he or she is just a kid'. Yes, just a kid, but then kids are also perceptive. They are growing, learning more about the world & making their own conclusions based on things they see. Shravan was hurt by his mother & by Suman. It was never addressed. He was sent away to study in London, all alone. He had no one to talk to him, to guide him out of this pain. And so it kept growing to the point that now its almost as much a part of him as blood is a part of our system & body.

Now he's back, all successful & his lawyer brain tells him that its time to get over this hurt & the way is by revenge - an eye for an eye. But soon he'll realise (and that is also the point of the show) that 'an eye for an eye will only make the world blind & that is no solution. These two need to sit down, talk about whatever that happened, share & that's the first step to healing & either having a new beginning or moving on.

Every1 is forgetting that Shravan is a lawyer. 1 of the hazards is u see mostly the dark/greedy side of ppl. As a divorce lawyer esp practicing in the west mostly he w'd ve encountered only female sharks. So far he has not seen the changed Suman Version 2 who is mature, loyal & caring. All this revenge saga started only when Sumo unnecessarily yelled at him for a silly thing & then called him a coward. Now no guy likes that.
