Hello folks!!!!! After a long time I am here... I sincerely apologize for not updating in a while. I was caught up with stuffs in my life and I feel really guilty for having not updated any of my stories in almost one and a half months. I really am sorry. But, I can't stop now. I love writing and I love SHRAMAN so, I am back and so the story is going to continue. I hope you guys haven't forgotten me and the story. Chapter 4
"So, shall we all leave?" asked Tiwari ji as he saw his family assembled all in readiness to leave for the engagement ceremony.
Preeti looked beautiful in the pink lehenga and all other family members had dressed in traditional dress.
" But,Suman di," asked Dabbu as he examined everyone.
"I am here," came a voice and there she was in a white anarkali walking down the stairs.
"Looking beautiful dear," complimented Mami and smiled while they started walking towards the door to leave.

*Malhotra Mansion *
The blue sherwani looked more royal as the tall guy wore it. A well set gelled hair, little bit of Cologne and the guy in front of the mirror was ready. He smiled as he touched the pocket of his sherwani and muttered to himself," Just few hours left. "
" And my son has grown up too," came in a lady drapped in a green saree.
Shravan smiled at the lady through the mirror.
The lady went near him and placing a hand on his shoulder said ," My son is handsome."
Looking at the lady Shravan said," And my mother is the most beautiful women in the world."
Shravan turned to bend down and embraced his mother in a warm hug.
" So, is it mother and son time or family time?" walked in Ramnath with a smile and joined the mother- son duo.
Nirmala chuckled at his comment and slapped him lightly in his arm.
Shravan smiled at the two and blushed. Noticing his blush Ramnath asked," what happened to you? You are dressed as if it's your engagement, "
Shravan hesitated to answer while Nirmala spoke, " what's wrong in his dress? He is the groom's brother. And he is handsome naturally. Don't you keep questioning him."
Ramnath backed away from argument and placed a hand on Shravan's shoulder.
" I know even you want to find a girl for you...but, you won't get a better girl than I did," and winked at Nirmala.
Nirmala blushed at his comment while Shravan hugged his Dad.
The family walked downstairs to join the guests and other relatives as the evening started to glimmer in the color of union between two people and their families.
The Tiwari family came inside and we're greeted with hugs and smiles by the Malhotras. Kamini complimented her to be daughter -in- law while Nirmala welcomed Mami and Mausi. Lalaji welcomed the Men with embrace while Ramnath took blessings of his Guru,Tiwari ji.
Pushkar with Shravan stood in a corner and watched the whole scene. Pushkar smiled looking at Preeti while Shravan searched for Suman, for she wasn't there yet.
" let's go big brother, they have all arrived," said Pushkar, his eyes glued to preeti.
Searching the crowd, Shravan said," Not all have come...the main piece is yet to arrive I guess."
Pushkar paid no heed to his words and walked towards the two families.
Taking blessings from all the elders,the couple took their seat for the ceremony.
Pushkar looked handsome like always in the white and golden sherwani and Preeti complemented him perfectly in the pink lehenga. Perfect couple.
" You both look so cute together, " said Vandy and congratulated the two while Varun did the same too.
" let's begin the ceremony, " said Ramnath and with claps gathered everyone's attention.
" But, the Rings and Suman di?" said preeti in a worried tone.
" I am here," and there she came dresses in a Red Lehenga and looking angelic like a bride.
The families smiled as they saw Suman and Dibbu join them.
Suman handed over the ring to Preeti and wished her, " Congratulations. "
After the ceremony everyone exchanged smiles and congratulatory hugs except for the two who just kept staring.
Suman could see him smirk and feel himself victorious for she turned up in Red Lehenga. But, that was fate. For just when she left home with her family, at the road her leg slipped and she fell on her face,spoiling her dress. And that's why she had to change her dress and wear the lehenga which Preeti had selected for her to wear in the wedding. But, that was no reason. She had lost it. She lost to him and that's so not right. To avoid facing him anymore Suman decided to leave the place but just when she turned around to get away a hand held her.
The strong hold meant it was him. She needed no Certification to prove it's him. She was so used to it now. She sighed at her fate and " I told you...you look beautiful in red...," his husky voice made her weak in her knees and she hated that feeling.
He was still holding her wrist but they were now a little far away from their families. She stood beside him and tried hard to deviate her mind from thinking about anything. While the guy next to her was smiling and nodding his head to everyone.
" Excuse me everyone... May I have your attention please, " he said loud and winked at her.
Suman was left startled. Just now here he was holding my hand and now there he is making announcement. God! Was this guy born our made ready-made.
She walked through the crowd and stood next to Nirmala and looked intently at what was coming across for she knew he was upto something.
" Today, is a very special day. My dear little brother Pushkar got engaged to his love,Preeti, he smiled at the two and continued, Congratulations to them! But, I am his big brother... So, don't you guys think that it's time even I get engaged? " His words threw confusion among the people while his eyes cut through her gaze.
Suman looked down at the ring shining bright in her finger and cursed him.
" I know you are all confused...but, today, in front of you all I want to announce my engagement. In fact I am already engaged."
His words shocked the two families while the people gathered in started gossiping. Suman decided to leave the place and started taking steps backward when he called out," Suman..."
Everyone looked at her while she looked at him. Taking steps one by one, he reached her. He took her hand in his and with a smile said," Very soon...I and Suman are going to get married."
Their families smiled in relief for their children had agreed to their arrangement and nodded at the two. Shravan smirked at her and took the ring out from his pocket and held it in front of her. Suman threw him a disgusted look and with helplessness took the ring from him and slid it in his ring finger.
Claps echoed the room and more congratulations were heard in the air. The two sought blessing from their elders. Nirmala kissed Suman in her forehead and blessed her," I am so glad that Shravan chose you."
Ramnath wished his son congratulations and took him in a father son embrace.
All the time the two looked at each other. For him this was a new beginning, for her it marked the end.
