yeah bad timing was the prime reason for this but suman shouldn't have connected the whole idea of civilian being tagged as a gadaar when she continued with her emotional outburst. shravan did say that they will talk later when she sobers up. again, POV i think is a factor here. they both were reckless at the time with shravan talking with her at the wrong time vs suman who kept on saying things that was out of her character at this point. it was just so rushed from both of their sides.

Many incidents like Devraj's arrest looked more dramatic than reasonable for sure. ....

yeah i hope the post leap is shown more better now..

When I follow the dialogue exchange this is what I see. He comes in when she is saying sorry papa, I made a big mistake. Shravan doesn’t address that. Doesn’t ask her how she is. Says I will miss you Vijay uncle. Our world has turned upside down. Suman you know about dad etc. Then she says I don’t want to talk about it just go. His immediate response is how can you think badly of my dad. He doesn’t let it go in that moment. To me that was inconsiderate. I would have slapped him too. So I understood her emotions more.

So if you think from her perspective she prioritized shravan over her dad on his last day. But in this moment shravan is showing that he expects her to prioritize his emotions even though it’s her dad that is gone forever. He may have come over to console her but he didn’t actually do it. So the way I see it that shows her that he expected her to prioritize his dad over hers even though hers is gone forever and his dad may be at fault. Her dad died for the country as a selfless gesture. Whereas she is not seeing that selflessness from the civilian side. Not from shravan. So I can understand her bringing up the civilian/army discussion. This is of course on top of all her other emotions of guilt for hurting her dad for shravan.

Hmm okies sure the devraj matter was out immaturity but when he was discussing with bunty prior to coming to suman didn't he tell bunty that he didn't want suman to tolerate all of this mess alone though because he said that devraj might come back but suman lost her father too?

like the confrontation was out of immaturity for him to bring thinking that probably suman might understand where he's coming from. i just felt the sudden rush in suman was a bit odd even though i understand that her loss of her father is a fresh wound. i guess its more of recklessness on their part shravan thinking that suman might understand his pain while suman released her emotional turmoil over the loss of vijay.

I’m a silent reader of this forum and I like Uday sir’s creativity.

Coming to the discussion, yes exactly I followed the same thing as you described. Shravan wanted Suman to prioritize his understanding rather than giving her space considering her situation.

I too would have done the same like Suman did.

Eagerly waiting for leap and looking forward for those angst scenes 🙂

But what shravan said to Bunty is not what was relayed to Suman. We as the audience know that but Suman as the a character does not. She is reacting according to only what she was shown. Which unfortunately was immaturity from shravan. It should not have been a moment where she had to understand him but a moment where he was supposed to understand her. Even when he said you are not in your right frame of mind he wasn’t showing empathy. To be fair he couldn’t because he was too emotionally caught up in his dad to understand that her perspective is legitimately allowed to be different than his.

Her dad did say he didn’t hate civilians. But she read that after she was already exposed to the idea that his supposed friend may have compromised on the quality of the vests so she is not going to take that meaning exactly as her dad said it. She may think that maybe my dad was too nice and trusting and it ended up costing him his life.

Oh okay. Perhaps maybe I might've than assumed it differently (as an audience) from this because yes he did emotionally rely on her a lot when sharing his matters and POV so perhaps he was assuming that she would understand this when she was already shocked from Vijay's death that her mind was already caught up with so much.

But do you see how that is focussing on his emotions not hers? When even from his own words he knew she was the one that was suffering more. Shravan is a really sweet character but really bad timing in this situation! The thing is we have also always seen shravan try to protect Suman from his emotional burdens. But I guess this was too big of a situation for him as well.

Yeah, it was recklessness on his part to all of a sudden change the scenario about his father facing false allegations when she was still in shock to recover from Vijay's death. Bad timing for sure hence she had to unleash her wrath despite her initial warning.
