But you mentioning their shaadi makes me thankful that EDKV2 doesn't have that stuff yet *touchwood*. These kids are still more focused on their life goals than running to shaadi....I can only hope that post leap also they don't rush to make this a shaadi drama, but keep the Army element as per the original promo storyline.

I think the show will end with them reuniting. Maybe they'll show the shaadi or maybe just shaadi ka decision. Par end mein.

Ofcourse they can show a reuniting and a shaadi in the end but I don't want the entire second half story to become about some shaadi related drama as it did with the previous two shows of this PH.

So far EDKV2 has managed to be different (and better IMO) than both their previous shows.....let's hope that sustains as they now enter Phase 2 of the story.

Yes, you're correct...after initial phases...mid of that show I couldn't sustain either and then I watched the last couple of epis. I didn't watch when it was running that gave me the edge for choose and go mode....that's the time...I noticed you folks were writing reviews here what was very helpful for me to understand...that was the first Hindi show I ever watched....my Hindi understanding skill might have progressed Lil bit from then but still struggle to understand when you all refer to other ITV shows...🤣

You're absolutely correct....when they show romantic movies etc. they forgot to relate that with careers and real-life deal.....that in many cases don't make it attractive for me at least.....in YPNTKH, wish they would have shown FL focus on a professional career...if I recollect correctly but the ML did have full attention...may not necessarily correct way always...here they have paid attention to those...what is a good chance to watch...

I do agree with you...the cover song...initially distracted me even to start watching this show....it is really sad...they should have some sorts of positive vibe included in it....😭

As far as teenagers go, Shravan-Sumo have definitely landed in their own league😆.

They have really, thank the makers for maintaining the naivety and innocence in both of them. They are still bachas, they were before the confession😆

On a "first date", these two decide to play some kind of " 1 - 5 - loser" question game with each other😆. Regardless of the randomness of this game, I liked that it had a sense of getting to know each other after the dust settles from their confessions.....and the added touch of both of them realizing they knew so much about each other without ever really talking about it directly😆. LOL though at the "Ek duje ke vaaste" plug in every other scene now.....it's a little on the nose frankly😆. We get it....they are "made for each other"....does it have to be spoonfed to us in every scene?😆

On their first date, they played sabse bada looser kaun😆. Jokes aside, it was done so nicely and Kanika and Mohit are doing such a fab job of bringing the playfulness, innocence and the pure joy of falling in love:)) Kanika though has been a revelation, as she hardly got to show these other emotions before:) The game ended up with them realizing, both know each other so well without even talking about stuff in particular. ( It was fun to see Shravans expression when she said Mummy ka face dekhke sote hoge🤣. He is such a kid with his pouts, stomping his feet while talking, etc 😆)

I'm also not a fan of the season 1 song playing in every other scene for them these days.....what happened to the song choices from the team? Budget khatam ho gaya to use Ayushman or Arijit songs?😆....now they are just randomly playing the season 1 song on every scene with maybe a few bits of the season 2 song.

They need to realize the lyrics doesn’t go well at all with the situation😆 Feelings ka kabada kar dete hai😆 I watched starting few episodes of EKDV and I can’t remember the song, except for EKDV part, lol! Its so random to play angst wala lyrics in the situation of first love ki khushi .

I was prepared for more cheesy stuff coming out from their scenes cuz the transition from the confession was a little off balance in some ways....but things have looked up again from yesterday's epi and continued into today....even the bits where they were staring at each other were not overdone....and the little bits like the one when Shravan holds her hand and they smile at each other in the back of the truck had a sweet simplicity about them.....a sense of joy and contentment emanating from both of them.....as if they find a sense of calm with each other. And I must add, I appreciate that Kanika is downplaying a shy Sumo....it's not the typical coyness.

You summed this up perfectly:)) And +100 to the way Kanika is downplaying Sumo👍🏼

Which then brings us to the "big moment" from the epi today....The HUG😆....I've found this entire build up of awkwardness about a touch/hug to be a little overdone in the last few epis frankly but today, all the scenes flowed well. The "kidnapping" or whatever that was....lol it hardly lasted like 10-15 minutes it seems😆.....was essentially a setup for both of them to feel the panic of being seperated and that propelled them into seeking each other out for reassurance.....that is why the hug flowed very nicely in that scene.....both of them reached for each other almost simultaneously to enfold each other in that hug. It didn't feel overdone, it wasn't overtly drawn out....all of the emotion felt summed up just right in that moment, which is why I liked it.

The kidnapping situation was 😆. Regarding touch or hug awkwardness, I felt it was not over done as in for Sumo things changed overnight. Its just that she was more conscious because relationship changed from being a BFF to love and she also mentions that to Shravan when he tells her that😆

Their first hug as you said really flowed nicely because of the situation they were in . The hand holding bit and the way they just kept looking at each other with their smiles was cute:)

Mystery remains though about how Shravan managed to fix his bike and follow the truck to rescue his Sumo😆. I also LOL-ed at Sumo threatening the driver and preparing to jump but by then Shravan had landed up there too😆.

That was sure a blunder🤣

Finally, the last moment in the end.....Shravan ke liye unexpected reward😆. A "date" that started with a Sumo too awkward too even put her hand on his shoulders ended with Sumo putting her arms around his middle and basically hugging him on the bike😆.....his initially zapped face and then the BIG happy grin cracked me up😆.

Aaj to Shravan ki khushi dekhte hi banti thi. He was smiling ear to ear. It really just kept getting better for him.

It was all in the little moments in this epi....a sense of both of them settling into the shift in their relationship - whether it was a growing comfort physically or emotionally....especially from Suman's side....it was done nicely today. It continued on into the last scene when Sumo initially tries to remove his jacket to check on his injury then gets briefly awkward again....but Shravan diffuses it all with a filmy line and takes off😆.....LOL@ Sumo marveling how she managed to fall for such a filmy guy😆.

The best part of the episode has to be that line from Sumo, Pata nahi kaise aise filmy ladke ke pyar mein pad gayi🤣 Please don’t change Sumo😆 I also laughed at Shravans annoyance when he goes, meri baat to kabhi sunni hi nahi hai, poor guy😆 was pissed Sumo took lift from the truck guy😆

Chalo, I guess all their happiness had to be compressed in this epi😆.....cuz trouble is coming up quick ahead as the Pari-WAR drama heats up. Bechara Shravan is gonna get blacklisted cuz of his Chachu's mess....I guess Sumo-Shravan will have to sneak around for a bit now😆.

This show has teenagers that are so much more sorted and understanding than most of the adults😆

Exactly🤣.....but worth noting that neither let the other jump to the "Loser" board at the end of the line😆

My point isn't that Sumo couldn't be awkward because the feelings changed from friendship to something more....my point is that the execution in the initial scenes after her confession felt a bit abrupt. I was discussing this with someone else and she noted that if they had shown something like both of them attempting a hug and then feeling awkward, that would have been more believable than to just show both of them suddenly acting so stiff even without touching each other😆. It just looked a little exaggerated on the heels of an emotional confession.

Anyways, I think things picked up from the Thursday epi onwards during the bike scene where Sumo explained that she's feeling awkward....that felt more natural and then ofcourse the Friday epi showed them getting comfortable in a natural, more flowing manner.

Itna rone dhone aur tadapne ke baad bechara definitely deserved some happiness😆....and it doesn't even take much....he was blissfully content simply being in her company.....koi khaas expectations bhi nahin the bechaare ke......lol imagination mein toh kitna kuch imagine karta tha during his one sided love days of dreaming about Sumo😆....and now it's like he's just thankful she's with him....aur kuch nahin chahiye😆

Word....and that's what sets them apart right now😆. Waise bhi samajhdaar characters ki bahut kami hai TV pe....and yahaan toh yeh bacche hokar bhi kitne suljhe huye hain😆.....I guess most if it stems from Sumo's character being that of a pretty samajhdaar kind of girl....and Shravan has matured after falling in love with her and imbibed some of her qualities too. What was always common between them was their pure hearts....dil dono ke ekdum saaf the shuru se.

Actually, serials come out with both happy and sad versions of the title song. Same music and everything but different lyrics and tone. They should have come out with the same for the main theme here as well. Because it's actually very catchy and lovely to hear otherwise. Tune, beat wise. I just tune in to it on youtube when I'm working, sometimes.

Ya, even I don't want to see them in joda and sehra. Just simple and sweet, army uniform mein.
