Shravan could have kept his point of view as well though the situation didn't let him but the Precap says a lot that he respects his own feelings that much atleast to say it out loud. To confront it. That his feelings can't be shove away. I feel she will acknowledge that too because she was nodding.
@bold: Yes, I think that's the sum of it.....this friendship is very new. They are just about getting to know each other and Sumo fears losing this newfound friendship to Shravan's shifting feelings.
I just realized that they promoted these post lockdown epis with promos of how Sumo-Shravan are "best friends", but that wasn't what they were before lockdown.....it's only now one month after resuming with new episodes that Sumo-Shravan have "officially" become best friends😆.....maybe that was the plan from the writing perspective....to get them to this point again properly and then explore the complications of love.
Sumo is a girl who doesn't adjust to change very easily while Shravan is all about thriving in chaos....this revelation regarding Shravan's feelings had the potential to change things, so Sumo instantly moved to quash it and Shravan went along with it. But chaos has a way of finding Shravan sooner or later....and Sumo inevitably will get swept along😆. I'm thinking again of the puddle scene which feels like a metaphor....he finds a way to make her let go and find joy in the mess.
Shravan isn't the type to mope around in general....and he has his Bunty Miyaan with him to cheer him up. I'm curious to see what advice Bunty gives him about this situation with Sumo now that he's been BFF-zoned....lol.
I'm also curious to see what leads to the precap scene of Shravan finally working up the guts to speak the truth of his feelings....yes, Sumo will have no choice but to acknowledge it then cuz it will be directly in front of her. She otherwise tries to brush aside things a lot but she may not be able to after that....let's see.

His thumb is near her hair, yes😆....but he's not really touching it😆.....maybe he's saving that for his next dream. LOL
One other moment worth noting from yesterday's epi.....the bit when Sumo is describing the kind of friend she craves for.....and Shravan ends up completing her sentence...."Jo tumhein judge na kare, tumhein samajhne ki koshish kare". The bittersweet smile on his face as he completed this sentence....aww
Despite the fact that Shravan was flying in his delusions of love for a bit, he has still managed to understand the core of Suman and how she thinks in many ways.
Friendship is the core binding thread in their relationship....it is the first thing about him that deeply impressed Suman - the way he cares for and stands up for his friends....and then by extension for his family. That is the core of Shravan that she connects to and wants in her life.
It is this very understanding and caring that she craves from him that will deepen with time into something more. At some point, she will have to face the fact that everything connected to Shravan seems to deeply impact her.
hehehe, who knows lets see XD

Thanks :)
@bold: Well, in my opinion, they didn't exactly manage this well with their previous shows😆....as far as I know, they didn't take this kind of time in building up the pairs in the previous shows.....those were all flashback stories with the "feelings" already set up....most of the focus was on angst immediately.
This seems to be their first show where they are taking the time to slowly develop every step of the friendship and relationship. And this Sumo-Shravan have to be the most maasoom out of all their pairs😆
no...exactly...I may have worded it incorrectly...what I meant to say...in their previous shows...it looks like always...the younger pairs have very obvious more than friends affections/feelings...but they never expressed to each other...than they get separated before they reunited back.......as adults or older...Suman's friendship zone was making me think hope the same thing doesn't repeat here.....
Yes, you're correct....their other shows......had very few FBs for younger version.....we're certain to point bored of seeing same old FBs........compared to that... the current show has been built from the younger...verse...that makes...the pair more innocent..as well.......

Ah ok, I see what you're trying to say.....yes, the previous shows focused on unresolved feelings between the younger versions of the pairs. But I think SS in this case have been different from the get go.....their friendship too has been different even from that of the younger pairs in the previous shows. The dynamics are just different vis a vis the character sketches for these two this time....yes, there is more of an innocence in a sense but also a sense of gradual discovery about life and love between them.
I sometimes also wonder if it's because of the way Mohit and Kanikka play these characters that adds more of a maasomiyat to them than there was in the PH's previous shows. No matter what emotion is being depicted between Sumo-Shravan - whether it's the clashes, the masti, the misunderstandings, the care or the fights....there is a strong core of innocence running through it. Makes me wonder if it is intentional from the writing/directing perspective or the actors add to it as well.
Sumo may have friend-zoned Shravan but I don't think this will lead to the same kind of unresolved feelings as the previous stories. Their conflicts have a different basis this time.

@ bold : yes I do feel that puddle scene was a metaphor to the future or just a symbolism to show how shravan has managed to make suman live in the moment without worrying about the mess since he is with her too.
@ red : It's basically for Shravan not suppressing his feelings and faking it to be all normal between them when it's not. He's just following Sumo's advice to not be sorry how you feel. So, maybe he is confessing so that the burden of emotions lessens up.
