Lol everyone is attracted towards a bad boy character... So it feels appealing to have a main hero who is a angry young rude man, super rich, And the girl will be shown as pure hearted, innocent and very DUMB who only knows to cry and bicker with the ML for silly things which we call as nok jhok.

These things not just happens in ITV. In thai lakorns there is a genre / term.. Slap-kiss drama.. Where the ML will be so abusive, kiss FL without consent, rape her but still the girl will end up falling for him and people still keep watching it.

I seriously hope we don't get to see such things here with Jabir.. Pooja is not someone who is spineless and cries every time and neither is kabir someone who uses force to put forth his point.

@Bold 1: This is what I hate the most. Women are trapped in toxic relationships everywhere, not just in India, yet you have shows promoting just that. TMI, but I had a friend who thought she could change a bad guy in real life. Needless to say, it didn't work because real life is NOTHING like TV shows.

@Bold 2: SAME. The "mahaan" bahus, who save the day (i.e. Kavya), have become a thing of the past. We need leads who are flawed but strong. We are getting that in EBSS right now, and that's what's keeping me hooked to the show. Pooja and Kabir are right and wrong in their own ways, but they are strong-headed characters. Their clashes would eventually lead to them realising their mistakes and that is what I am looking forward to. Someone like Dhruv can and would never match up to someone as strong as Pooja.

This is the mail thing I like about this show. The characters are all flawed just like how we are in real life.

Not like those selfless bahus of TV who will cry cry cry and their only mission in their life is to protect the family from unrealistic danger (which never happens much in real life..its far different.. Like a financial problem.. Job issues etc) and play a detective and save the day.

WOOOORD. It's the same double standards everywhere. Your hormone part is valid to some extent.

My Mom loves Kabir/Mittals and dislikes Pooja. That says it I guess. Increase in TRP is of the Pooja Kabir pairing/tashan.
