I assumed Jhanvi wud be a negative character seeing the promos, but she comes around a grey person with a strong motive behind her acts.
I think Shrenu did say in all the promotional events that her character isn't negative, and her actions are justified in light of what happened to her.
The promos are nicely picturized. But I feel that there is a slight disconnect between the promos and the show. Jhanvi's character isn't shown as menacing as how the promos seem to convey. Either that's because it's still the beginning of the story and we'll get to see it later or maybe this is how the story is meant to be. I don't mind Jhanvi's backstory as justification... it definitely adds to the character. But I wish to see Jhanvi up her game a bit.
